Director Puri Jagannath banked heavily on the popularity of Mahesh to score success. The screen time of Mahesh Babu in Businessman is 1.46 hr out of the total runtime 2.6 hr. This itself shows how much bankable Mahesh is!
Mahesh's voice modulation, diction, dialogue delivery and the intensity in his performance will keep the audience interested in the film throughout the course of the film. He continued his success streak with Businessman, after delivering a stupendous hit in the form Dookudu.
