Massive demand @ for ISHQ remake rights!!

Nitin and Nithya Menon’s ‘Ishq’ is doing good business across all urban centers and the movie has given a much needed boost to the career of Nitin. The success of the movie has caught the attention of Hindi and Tamil producers and we are being told that there is a massive demand for the remake rights of the film. The producers of ‘Ishq’ are reportedly being offered good amounts for the remake rights and a decision can be expected soon.
Ishq’s contemporary and breezy love story certainly has a lot of appeal for all markets and that is the reason for this demand. Vikram Kumar directed this film and P.C.Sriram handled the cinematography.

Mahesh-Venky @ SVSC Shooting at RFC!!

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, the much awaited family drama of the Telugu Film Industry, is currently being shot at Ramoji Film City and the lead actors in the film are participating in the shooting. The movie has Victory Venkatesh and Superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead roles and there are huge expectations on this movie. Sources say that a heart touching family drama is the central theme of the movie and Producer Dil Raju is extremely confident about the project.
Srikanth Addala is handling the direction of the movie and Mickey J Meyer is scoring the tunes. Shooting will soon shift to Pune for a brief schedule, as per reports available. The film is being readied for a Dussehra launch and Samantha will be seen as the heroine along with Anjali.

Dammu Fights @ Best Ever for NTR!!

Young Tiger Jr NTR is about to show his next level acting prowess. Reportedly, the action episodes in Dammu are said to be one of the best ever for NTR in his career. Right from the word go, NTR was very cautious and even composed few fights under the supervision of Ram Laxman. Cannon blasting scenes shot at Pollachi would be one of the highlights of the film. Also, Dammu dialogues have generated great curiosity amongst the fans.
Recently, Dammu has completed its entire talkie part and editing formalities. Currently, a song is being shot on NTR, Trisha and Karthika in a special set at Annapurna Studios and this will be completed by tomorrow. That's not all, director Boyapati Srinu is also planning to rope in two popular heroines alongside NTR, Trisha and Karthika for the pre-interval song of the film, which is likely to be shot after the audio songs release. With this, the entire shooting will be completed and Dammu will hit the screens worldwide on April 19 with highest number of prints in NTR's career.

Gopi Chand’s next film will start rolling from March 19. Tamil director Bhupati Pandiyan is directing this film and it will be simultaneously made in Tamil too. This is the first bilingual for Gopi Chand. Tandra Ramesh is producing it.
Gopi Chand will be playing the role of a powerful police officer in this movie. Of late he has been struggling to find success and the hero is showing immense confidence in Bhupati to end his flop streak. Heroine of this film is yet to be finalized.

Familiar opinion is Vijayashanti hasn’t exposed a minute of her skin in the song and it was just her sensible expressions with sweetly timed dance movements which made audience to go crazy. Arya’s @ Irandam Ulagam resumes!!

Arya and Anushka starrer Irandam Ulagam has resumed its shooting today, after three months.
Director Selvaraghavan says, “Heading to shoot after a gap of three months,” as all the film shootings were held due to strike. Anushka is touted to be playing dual role in this bilingual film being produced by Prasad V Potluri.
Irandam Ulagam is being filmed on PVP cinemas banner that has editing by Kola Bhasker, music by Harris Jayraj and art by Kiran in the technical crew.

Simbu’s @ Podaa Podi to wrap up soon!!

The debutant venture of Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar is Podaa Podi that stars STR being directed by Vignesh Shivan, which is nearing completion.
“Podaa Podi showcases lead pair in 3 different stages and so it takes more time when compared to other big films,” says Vignesh Shivan. Further director added, “The team will fly to Macau for a schedule of about 10 days to shoot the last song.” Podaa Podi also casts veteran actress Shobana, Saranya Mohan and Poonam Kaur in the pivotal roles.
Simbu is back from Las Angels and got back to the sets to revive the shooting of Podaa Podi, which had hit the floors in 2009. Dharan is composing the music for Podaa Podi, of which ‘Love panlama venama...' track became chartbuster with the trailer.

Simbu re-joins @ Vettai Mannan team!!

STR, who has recently come back from Las Angels after recording his Love Anthem, is busy shooting for Vettai Mannan.
Nelson is directing multi-starrer Vettai Mannan that casts Simbu, Hansika, Jai, Poonam Kaur and Deeksha Seth in the leads. The movie was put on standstill for about 2 months, as Silambarasan was away to Las Angels and now Vettai Mannan team is back into shooting sets recently. “Back to shoot after like almost 2 months !!! Feels so grt to hear start camera action :),” tweeted Simbu.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing background for Vettai Mannan, which will showcase Hansika as the gangster. While Shakthi is handling cinematography, SS Chakravarthy is producing the movie under Nic Arts banner and Anthony Gonsalves will be taking care of editing.

Manoj @ ‘Mr. Nookayya Reloaded’ Coming Soon!!

Rocking Star Manchu Manoj’s action entertainer ‘Mr. Nookayya’ is all set to be relaunched again as a faster and sleeker version of the original and this film has been titled ‘Mr. Nookayya Reloaded’. The new version should be out by 16th or 17th of this month and we can expect some changes in the film to overcome the legal issues raised by the mobile phone company Nokia.

Puri announced the release date of 'Businessman' on the day of Muhurat and it worked wonders for all the people who were associated with the film. He once again followed the same strategy, but this time with Pawan Kalyan's 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu'.
"Though I tried several times to team up with Pawan Kalyan garu who gave me life with 'Badri', somehow the plans got delayed due to various reasons. 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu' is my 25th film as director and I'm very happy to do this film with Pawan. This the story of a news reporter. It is a different action film, which will have all the elements that fans and audience expect from Pawan Kalyan. The regular shooting would kickstart from May 2nd week and the film will be released worldwide on October 18," said Puri.

Sources say Salman would be shaking his leg with his 'Vadina' Malaika Arora Khan.

Big stars and directors generally stand first in giving frank opinions about their team and this puts them in a fix sometimes. Our superstar Mahesh Babu had one such moment recently. Here goes the story!
The other day Superstar Mahesh attended a public function where music director Anoop Rubens was another guest. Though Anoop has never worked for Mahesh, there is a connection between them. Popular production house RR Makers signs deals with technicians and actors for a long term, and striking hot Isha Chawla and music-man Anoop are best examples for this. Both need to do five flicks for RR as per the agreement signed.
However, when Anoop is to start work on RR's 'Dookudu', it is Mahesh who has requested for replacement and roped in Thaman. Anoop was heard a little bit disappointed then, with Superstar not believing in his talent and tunes. Later, Anoop rocked the tinsel town with 'Poola Rangadu' and 'Ishq', and is now coming up with 'Lovely'. Onlookers shared that Mahesh is uncomfortable to exchange looks with the music director for a while and everything is alright after some time. Superstar's choices are always different and you should be different to become a Superstar!

One of the recent bumper hits of Tollywood is 'Businessman' and it has reiterated the stand of prince Mahesh Babu as the reigning superstar of Tollywood. In between, there was also a talk that Mahesh would take the same film to Bollywood and mark his debut to capture the hearts of the Hindi audience.
However, here is the latest update. It is heard that 'Businessman' has been finalized in Hindi and this would be directed by Puri Jagannadh while the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma is the producer. As for the lead, it is heard that Abhishek Bachchan would be stepping into the shoes of Mahesh Babu.

Ramcharan @ RACHA is a carbon copy of 'Bunny'?

This is the hot gossip that is making rounds in film nagar now. Ram Charan's Racha storyline is pretty similar to Allu Arjun's 'Bunny' movie, which itself was a mix of various commercial potboilers. Bunny did well at the box office to complete the hat-trick of hits for Allu Arjun. Raghu Babu's blind comedy and Devi Sri Prasad's songs played vital role in it.
Sampath Nandi's subject is strikingly similar to Bunny as Racha too has a flashback involving hero's father (played by Parthipan) and the hero fights for a social cause (a problem related to Telangana area. In Bunny it was Polavaram Dam issue). Strong buzz is making rounds in film nagar that Racha might end up as average fare at the box office.
Audio hasn't lived up to the expectations and the trailer looks mediocre and cliched. So a lot will depend upon the comedy factor in this movie. Let's see if it has the required fuel in that department before believing in these rumors.
