The KO actress Piaa Bajpai has been zeroed in for Vijay’s first producing film, which is the remake of the 1981, released Sattam Oru Iruttarai.
Sattam Oru Iruttarai was directed by Vijay’s father S.A.Chandrashekar, which will be now being directed by Ramesh. The remake will have Vikram Prabhu, son of veteran actor Prabhu Ganesan donning the lead with Kartika as his love interest. It is also heard that veteran actress Meena will be playing an important role in the film.
Velayudham actor will be producing this remake on his maiden production house Ghilli Films. Probably this will be the first movie being produced by actor Vijay. Piaa Bajpai is busy acting in couple of Malayalam films.
Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Jalsa’, which was directed by ace director Trivikram, gained a cult following among his fans and movie lovers alike. Now the latest reports circulating in the industry indicate that this team is getting back together.Pawan, Ileana and Trivikram will be working together for a new film. While there is no confirmation over whether the movie will be titled ‘Jalsa – 2′, some people close to the star say that Trivikram is yet to work on the script and one possible option is to take the story forward from ‘Jalsa’.
BVSN Prasad will be producing the film and if everything goes as per plan, the new movie should start rolling from October. We will be bringing you more updates about this interesting project as and when they become available folks.

The director for this is Bhoopathi Pandian and this would mark Nayana's official entry into Tamil once again after her decision to quit films. Prince Mahesh Babu and his mania at the box office needs no introduction. Right now, another member from his family is doing his best to grow in the circuit. He is Sudheer Babu, brother- in-law of Mahesh who recently made his debut with the film 'SMS'. Though the film didn't work much, Sudheer got few decent marks for his dance and fights.
Now, it is heard that he is all set to take off with another movie and this one is slated to be a total action entertainer. This is going to be directed by Vamsi Krishna Akella who made the horror flick 'Raksha'. Buzz is that a noted producer is helming this project and Sudheer from his end wants to give his hundred percent.

Yes, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is now the supreme authority for the fans and it seems like Chiru's prime has undoubtedly come to an end. The recent happenings at the audio function of Racha is a proof to it.
During Racha audio launch, angry fans protested the absence of Pawan Kalyan by throwing bottles on stage and chanted the name of Powerstar which went on to disrupt the speeches of Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan. Though both Chiru and Charan tried to pacify the Pawan fans by saying that Pawan is busy in the post production work of Gabbar Singh in US, it didn't work.
"The fans always had very high regard for Chiru. They never objected the mandate passed by Megastar. But things seems to have changed now. It was Pawan's name that's been chanted more than that of any other hero (Chiru, Charan, Bunny) from the Mega family on that day," said a film critic.
After the formal launch of Sai Dharam Teja's Rey, Chiru and Pawan weren't seen together in any film related events. The reports of rift between them has been causing severe mental trauma for fans. Naga Chaitanya's new movie Autonagar Surya is progressing at rapid pace and the next schedule of the film will commence from Mar 27 to 30 in Hyderabad. The unit is planning to film a song on Naga Chaitanya under the choreography of Raju Sundaram on the busiest roads of Hyderabad. Samantha is romancing Naga Chaitanya in this high voltage action entertainer which is set under the backdrop of Vijayawada. Deva Katta is the director and Anup Rubens is scoring the music for Auto Nagar Surya.
The shooting of Power Star Pawan Kalyan's new movie Gabbar Singh is progressing at brisk pace in 'Maryada Ramanna' house set at Kokapet. Director Harish Shankar is filming patch work scenes and climax action episodes on Pawan Kalyan, Ajay, Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani and others. Reportedly, Pawan Kalyan was supposed to shoot for the entire day but left abruptly due to sudden rise of mercury levels. He will join the unit tomorrow and continue to work till afternoon, says production hands. Shruti Hassan is playing the love interest of Pawan Kalyan, while Ali is essaying the role of Samba. The movie is slated for May 9 release.
Victory Venkatesh and Super Star Mahesh Babu's upcoming multistarrer movie 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' would be shot in Prasadz IMAX on Mar 22. Reportedly, the director of the film Srikanth Addala is planning to shoot a fight sequence on Mahesh Babu under the supervision of Ram Laxman over there. Dil Raju is producing the movie on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, while Mickey J meyer is scoring the music. Samantha and Anjali are playing female leads. So far, 30% of the film's shoot is completed and the makers are planning to release SVSC sometime in October.
Dynamic director Puri Jagannath has achieved a rare feat recently. The director who made his debut in Tollywood with Pawan Kalyan's 'Badri' in 2001 is once again directing the actor in a new movie 'Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu'. Interestingly, this is Puri Jagan's 25th movie in his career and incidentally, Pawan Kalyan is the hero again in this new movie. Puri is a huge fan of Pawan Kalyan and often considers Pawan as his God-father. It's worth mentioning that it was Pawan Kalyan who gave Puri the much needed break through and this crazy director went onto experiment and score hits with several newbies.
Prince Mahesh Babu's new thums up ad has hit small screens recently. It is a known thing that Mahesh Babu made his fans feel proud by working as nation wide brand ambassador for this soft drink. However, he received many criticisms among the public as he could not give his own voice for the ad. Only dubbing voice is being heard currently in the ad which did not suir Mahesh Babu's image.
Having understood the negative feedback everywhere, ad makers are said to have decided to record Mahesh's own voice in fresh. It is due to Mahesh's tight schedules of doing movies, he could not spend time to dub his own voice for the ad and that is why the Telugu version of thums up ad has not been released. As per reliable sources, it is learnt that new thums up ads in Telugu and Hindi will be out shortly (probably withing one week) with Mahesh's own voice. Let us wait for those ads.
One easily says that Mahesh Babu is the undoubted number one of Telugu industry with no competitors in the reach. But, is his position such solid that no jerk can destabilize it is the question!

Without any thought, one can easily say Superstar Rajnikanth, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachan are such 'emperors' of their respective film circuits.
But, can we put Mahesh in the same place where they ruled for years. Analysts say a strong 'No'. If two bad-films like 'Athidi' and 'Khaleja' fall in his path, no doubt he has to take a back seat as he is frontrunner only because of two flicks, they say. Else, if Jr.NTR or Ramcharan scores some back to back whopping commercial hits, then the throne will be gone. Looks like Mahesh should give a series of hits to prove that he is really worth calling a 'No.1 Tollywood Hero' irrespective of his brand endorsements and opinion-poll wins. What is your say folks?

Reports from the camp of the movie 'Dammu' reveal something similar. It is heard that young tiger Jr NTR has taken part in a song and he would be seen in various getups which will shock the audience. Sources say two among the variety roles is that of a police officer and also that of a period character.
Unit members reveal a huge amount of VFX is also involved in giving this song an extra punch. The film is directed by Boyapati Srinu while Alexander Vallabha is the producer. Music is by Keeravani and the audio release is scheduled to take place on March 29th. Looks like the songs would be good enough to take the film to a safe zone.
Senior actress Trisha is currently doing Dammu movie with NTR, for which she has been on a strict diet to look young and compatible opposite the young star. Trisha has slimmed down a lot as she has been working out rigorously besides doing power yoga and all. This has taken a heavy toll on her and her health was badly affected due to it.
Trisha has collapsed on the sets recently after consuming lots of energy to match the speed and grace of NTR in a mass song. Doctors advised her to take good rest as she is not a perfect condition to carry on with the shoot. Hence, the actress has taken one week’s leave from work and is right now resting at home.
Trisha says that she is getting back to normal and will be fit and fine within no time. She promises to come up with energetic dance moves in Dammu songs. As every other actress Trisha too is awe of Tarak's dancing abilities. She says that his energy and power are unmatchable.
