One of the much awaited and most talked about movies of the season is ‘Bezawada’. While the reasons may be many, here is one reason why the overseas exhibitors of the film are jumping in joy. Sources say Nagarjuna has become the distributor of ‘Bezawada’ for USA.
Buzz is that he will sell the film to the local exhibitors. After watching the theatrical trailer, the film has got a positive talk and the exhibitors are in full spirits. One of the noted exhibitor from US mentioned “Nag distributing ‘Bezawada’ in US is giving good feelers. Due to the trailer, whatever doubts were there on Chaitu has been removed.” He added “We all feel Chaitu’s impact is better than Nag as he got base voice. Yes, he is better than his dad in that. As such, mass roles suit Chaitu but there is a feeling that he is just a kid. This feeling is because Nag is not old and still has the power to romance beauties like Trisha and others. When he came, ANR’s career was almost over. So, it takes time for Chaitu to be accepted. And the time has come now. ‘Bezawada’ is going to make him a strong mass hero.”

Tamil actress Amala Paul who is known for films like Mynaa and Deiva Thirumagan is making her debut in Tollywood with Naga Chaitanya’s movie Bejawada. Amala is known for doing conservative roles in Tamil. But she is opting for glamour image in Tollywood.

Amala has done a spicy romantic song in Bejawada in which she sizzled like never before. Vivek Krishna is the director of this movie. Ram Gopal Varma is the producer. This film is slated for release on November 25.

Anushka cameo in big film details

Anushka who is called as the undisputed queen of Tollywood is planning her career wisely these days. Now, the actress has only one project in Telugu that too opposite Nagarjuna, who introduced her to big screen. We came to know that she agreed to do a guest role in Karthi’s forthcoming film Shakuni. She told that director Shankar Dayal has essayed a pivotal role for her in the film. Though she appears for few minutes her character is the most important one for the film.

Anushka has also agreed to do a film as heroine opposite Karthi. The film will be launched sometime this month. She also claims that acting in a bi-lingual film like Shakuni will make her to connect with the audience in both languages.

Balakrishna Sri Rama Rajyam first copy details

Balakrishna’s next release Sri Rama Rajyam is in the final stages of its post production. The team has completed the post production for movie’s first half and even printed the negative of it. Currently, the unit is working on the second half of the film which will be completed by this weekend. If everything goes as planned, the first copy of the film will be readied by this weekend.

Music director of the film Ilayaraja has successfully completed the re-recording of the film. The film has lot of graphics and the unit is taking utmost care to avoid any technical glitches in the final output. The first look of Balayya as Lord Rama is very divine and the songs of the film have become chartbusters.
Akkineni Nageswara Rao is playing Valmiki and Srikanth will be seen as Lakshmana. The movie is slated for November 17 release worldwide.

Ram Charan, VV Vinayak Film On Nov 9th

Ram Charan’s film in the direction of VV Vinayak is starting on 9th of this month. This is going to be produced by Danayya. The film is going to be an out and out comedy action entertainer on the lines of Ravi Teja-VV Vinayak’s super hit film ‘Krishna’. Tamanna and Samantha are the female leads.
VV Vinayak wishes to get back with his comedy-action formula as he believes that it is the best bet when compared to the experimental high budget films like Badrinath. Hence he is taking this Ram Charan’s untitled film on floors on Nov 9th.

‘Vana Vana Velluvaye’ remix for Ram Charan’s Raccha

Remixing popular songs from yesteryears isn’t a new trend in Telugu cinema. In the recent few months, Magadheera had a remix of Bangaru Kodipetta (from Gharana Mogudu) and Naga Chaitanya grooved to the tunes of Naa Kallu Chebutunnayi (from Premabhisekham) in 100% Love. Now, the latest news is that Ram Charan’s Raccha is going to feature a remix of Vana Vana Velluvaye from the film Gang Leader.

Interestingly, it’s one of the most popular songs from the 90s featuring Chiranjeevi and Vijayashanti. The song is going to be shot on Ram Charan and Tamannaah from today in Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad. Shobi is going to choreograph the song. After shooting this song, the film unit will head to China to can an action sequence. Sampath Nandi is directing the film and NV Prasad, Paras Jain are producing the film on Mega Super Good Films banner. Mani Sharma is composing music for the film.

Amala Paul pins hopes on Bejawada

Amala Paul is eagerly looking forward to her debut film Bejawada in which she plays the lead role opposite Naga Chaitanya. Talking to a leading newspaper she said that Bejawada is the best debut she could hope for in Telugu at this point of her career.

She plays a bold character named Geetanjali who falls in love with a rowdy in the film. Vivek Krishna has directed the film which is based on real incidents which occurred in Vijayawada in the 1980s and 90s. Sushanth to romance Isha Chawla

Sushant will soon be acting in a film with Isha Chawla as the heroine. The movie is a romantic entertainer that will be produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna’s sister Naga Suseela on Sri Nag Corporation banner. The movie is going to show Sushant in a new light as per Filmnagar sources.

Sai has been finalized as the director of this movie. The movie’s muhurtam shot will take place in the last week of November and regular shooting will commence from December. More details regarding the project are awaited.

Rajanna audio on November 27th?

King Akkineni Nagarjuna’s period drama ‘Rajanna’ is racing ahead with its production work and the movie is gearing up for a December 23rd release. Sources say that the movie’s audio launch will take place in a big way on November 27th. There is no official confirmation yet regarding this date. M.M.Keeravani has composed the tunes.

The movie is being directed by Vijayendra Prasad, father of ace Director S.S.Rajamouli. ‘Rajanna’ is being produced by Nagarjuna himself on Annapurna Studios banner. The movie is a period drama that is based on the real life story of Suddhala Hanumanthu. Sneha is the heroine in this movie.

Special village sets and sophisticated visual effects have been used to recreate Telangana villages of the 1950′s for this movie. The action episodes are said to be the highlight of the film and these are being supervised by Rajamouli himself.

V V Vinayak’s voiceover in ‘Renigunta’

V V Vinayak has lent his voice for an upcoming film titled Renigunta. In the past, he had lent his voice to introduce Sonu Sood’s character in Kandireega and Shambo Shiva Shambo. Of late, several directors are roping in popular actors and directors to lend their voice. Recently, Sunil had lent his voice in Ravi Babu’s Nuvvila where he introduced the lead characters in the film and last year, Ravi Teja had lent his voice for Rajamouli’s Maryada Ramanna.

Talking about V V Vinayak’s contribution to Renigunta, Suresh Kondeti, who is producing the film, said, ““He first appeared on screen in Chiru’s Tagore and his dialogue rendition stood out in the film. Later he gave voiceovers for the movies Shambo Shiva Shambo and Kandireega and both of them were big hits. I am glad that he has agreed to lend his voice for my film.”

Renigunta was one of the surprise hits in Tamil in recent times and it’s being dubbed in Telugu with the same name. Panner Selvam is the director and it has Jonny and Sanusha in lead roles.

Siddarth & Shruthi steal the show at Sri Chaitanya College

For the students of Sri Chaitanya College it was a Saturday that they will never forget in a hurry. Their college played host to Oh My Friend team of Siddarth, Shruthi and Producer Dil Raju. An energetic Siddarth was seen mingling with the crowd of youngsters while Shruthi smiled from the safety of the dais. A beaming Dil Raju said that Oh My Friend will be watched a minimum of three times. “Once the boys will watch the movie, and then they will take the girls along and finally the parents too will join” he said amidst cheers.

But the star of the evening was hero Siddarth who even gave in to an impromptu request for a song rendition. When he took the mike he was energetically cheered on by a visibly excited bunch of youngsters who even joined him for a jig. Siddarth is hoping that this movie will end his dry run at the box office.

Nagarjuna is sporting a new hairstyle nowadays. The actor was seen recently in a new look for his next film Rajanna. Indeed, it is probably one of the most expensive ever hairstyles by any actor in the Telugu film industry.

If reports are to be believed, Nagarjuna’s new hairdo cost Rs 20 lakhs from the producer’s pocket. The actor has roped in Bollywood hairstylist Steve, who worked with the Telugu actor before in superhit movie King.

Tollywood Pongal Movies List

Tollywood box office is going to witness a big fight if all the films that are lined up for Pongal releases as per the schedule. Mahesh Babu’s The Businessman is confirmed for January 11th release. Balakrishna’s Adhinayakudu and Venkatesh film Bodyguard are slated for Jan 12th release.

Raviteja film Nippu will come on January 13 and Sunil’s Poola Rangadu, Sekhar Kammula’s Life is Beautiful are aiming for Jan 14th release. Shankar’s 3 Rascals too might come on the same day. As of now these seven films are confirmed for Pongal.

We have to wait and see if any of these films would back out or any other movie will compete with these films. Nowadays producers are planning wide releases and it would be interesting to see how the four big releases manages to get maximum number of theatres.

Ram Gopal Varma Coming with a New Sequel Movie

The eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma was unable to score with his last few ventures but that has not stopped him from work. Now, it is heard that he is all set to come up with a sequel and this would be for his super hit Hindi movie Ab Tak Chappan.

It is also heard that Ramu is roping in the same intense actor Nana Patekar for the lead role. Sources say this would be directed by Ramu’s old associate Sahil Saple. Let us wait for the formal announcement.

Rajamouli Eega trailer details

Star director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming socio fantasy film Eega shooting is going on at fast pace. The post production works of the film are progressing simultaneously at Prasad Labs. The film is a revenge drama where a house fly (Eega) plays the hero of the film. Nani, Samantha are playing lead roles, while Sudeep is the villain.
Right now, director Rajamouli is busy making the trailer of the film. He is planning to make the trailer in both 2D and 3D versions. The movie is a bilingual and will have its release simultaneously in both Telugu and Hindi. The makers are planning to release the film for summer, 2012. MM Keeravani is the music director and Senthil Kumar is the cinematographer.

Naga Chaiatanya was asked in an interview today to say his opinion on portraying super hero role. Without waiting a minute, he answered, “One has to have a legendary star image to perform as super hero. I cannot do it right now. It becomes too early to do that. Only the stars those acquire die hard fans with their years of perseverance only can do super hero roles”.

Well, Naga Chaitanya seems to have better understanding on himself than anyone else. He is also so practical in telling the truth that he has to grow big to portray such roles. 
Despite a star son, he is not in the opinion that he is a Star. He can certainly grow big as star down the line with that consciousness.

Love Story Or Polished KAMASUTRA?
