Reliable sources say, Salman had a great time interacting with Tollywood top stars and directors. It was ace writer Kona Venkat who introduced the Tollywood prominant personalities to this B-Town Star. Along with Venky and Raviteja, almost all the heroes graced the party. Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR were the two absentees at the grand bash. Hopefully they will attend the sangeet ceremony and the big fat wedding. From directors fraternity, Puri Jagannath, Srinu Vytla, VV Vinayak, Harish Shankar, Meher Ramesh and few others were present.
Unfortunately, Pawan Kalyan who usually stays away from celebrations left the venue before Salman has arrived. In fact, the Bollywood star asked about Pawan several times during his stay at the party. Sources close to both these stars have been planning a cordial meeting soon. The party continued till 3 am in the morning and everyone had a blast. Mega celebrations would continue for the next 2-3 days for sure.

Salman Khan has bought the rights to some scenes from Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh and he has paid Rs. 50 Lakhs for them. The scenes include the antyakshari episode, the cutout scene featuring Brahmanandam and the Kabaddi scene. These will be incorporated into Salman’s upcoming Dabangg 2.

It’s officially confirmed that Bollywood actor Zarine Khan who marked her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan in ‘Veer’ would now again share screen space with him for David Dhawan’s comedy flick ‘Partner 2’ that would be a sequel to his 2007 hit.
While the original featured Salman, Govinda, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif, the sequel would only see the two male leads reprising the role as Zarine and Kingfisher model Angela Johnson have replaced the two female leads in upcoming sequel.
Initially, Dhawan was keen to cast Katrina as one of female lead for the film but as she was pretty busy with her impending projects lying in her kitty, she decline the offer.
The film is certainly going to roll by 2013 as Salman is busy shooting for his home production ‘Dabangg 2’ as well as Zarine is even shooting for her first Tamil flick ‘Karikalan’ opposite superstar Vikram.
The war of words between Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan does not seem to end. After hearing what Salman said in the recent event, Shahrukh hits back by saying that its good that he did not attend Ambani's party as all negative stories are coming out of it. He also told the media that he did not like the way Salman indirectly involved him in his comment.
At a recent gala, organised by business honcho Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani, last week to honour Sachin Tendulkar, Salman praised Sachin by saying that 'nobody can beat Sachin's record'. He also compared Sachin's record with Don by saying the famous dialogue, “Jaise Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahin namumkin hai, waise Sachin ka record todna bhi namumkin hai”. To tone down his sarcastic remark, he further added, since his father wrote the dialogue he has all the rights to use it.
Shahrukh at a recent event reacted by saying that he did not like the comment and tries not to take it seriously. He also said, it's good that he was not there.
When asked what Salman has to say about this, Salman explained that he thinks the comments were good and his father, who has co-written the original film, did not make any objection on it.
Although his father Salim Khan has got a few objections, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is in favour of the remake of 1973 superhit 'Zanjeer', the film which established Amitabh Bachchan as the 'angry young man' of the Hindi cinema.
"I feel 100 percent - a remake of Zanjeer should be made. It was a super hit film," said Salman, while speaking to the mediapersons. Salman's father was the scriptwriter of Amitabh starrer Zanjeer. Salim Khan strongly feels that the cult status and the storyline of the original should be retained.
When asked about the reservations his father has got over the proposed remake Zanjeer, Salman replied,"Even 'Don' (Salim Khan was also the scriptwriter of Amitabh starrer Don) was remade (Shahrukh's Don) and a sequel (Shahrukh's Don 2) had also come out. My father has never objected. Don has been made twice."
Till date, the makers of Zanjeer feared that Salman's father may approach the court to stall the shooting of Zanjeer remake. But now with Salman's clarification, they breathed a sigh of relief and a major hurdle for the Ram Charan's Bollywood debut has been sorted out.

With his back to back success in films like Dabangg, Bodyguard, Wanted, superstar Salman Khan is all set to make a history now. If reports are to be believed, Salman Khan was approached by producer Aascar Ravichandran to star in a multi-lingual epic opposite to Jackie Chan and Kamal Haasan.
Reportedly the film will be made in Hindi, Tamil and English with a whopping budget of Rs. 300 crores. Ravichandran informed a leading website, that he has been in talks with Jackie Chan about the film since last few years as the actor had earlier expressed his desire to star in a Bollywood film.
He further disclosed that the movie would have a different setup. If all goes well, this will turn out to be be the most expensive film in the history of Indian film industry.

Reports from Mumbai reveal a big hero is setting a new trend by coming up with an item song. He is none other than the mighty heart Salman Khan and we are talking about his movie 'Dabanng 2', the sequel to his blockbuster 'Dabangg'. Sources say Salman would be shaking his leg with his 'Vadina' Malaika Arora Khan.
The line goes 'Pandeyji Maare Seeti…' and the music is composed by Sajid-Wajid. This is being directed by Arbaaz Khan, husband of Malaika. If this track becomes a hit then it is sure that Salman would be setting up a special trend of introducing top league heroes of cinema circuit into item songs.
Bollywood actor Salman Khan has now kept all his endorsements and other projects aside to complete his most ambitious film 'Dabangg 2' - a sequel to actor's 2010 blockbuster hit. Apparently, Salman who eyes on festive seasons for his films releases has planned to release 'Dabangg 2' by Christmas. Lately, Salman locked YRF's 'Ek Tha Tiger' release by August on the occasion of Eid.
Salman would be now dedicating himself to his brother, actor turned filmmaker Arbaaz Khan's debut directorial venture. Apparently, Sallu has even declined several projects for 'Dabangg 2'. Lately, Salman has opted out of two major Hindi versions of South films - 'Arya 2' and 'Dookudu'. Salman has also walked out of reality show Bigg Boss where he was about to play the role of host.
While most Bollywood A-listers are completely sold on South remakes, Salman Khan does not believe in the herd syndrome. Probably, Khan had enough of South replicas after his 2011 blockbusters Ready and Bodyguard. When approached for the remake of another South flick Arya 2 by UTV, Khan categorically said 'No.'
An industry-insider told Mumbai Mirror, "UTV wanted Salman. They even held a screening of Arya 2 for him. But, later, Salman declined the offer."
Trade circles were buzzing about Khan's involvement in this UTV project for the last couple of months. However, the insider added, "It's definitely true that Salman won't star in Arya 2. Nobody is aware of his reason for refusing the film."
Arya 2 is a 2009 Telugu romantic sequel to the 2004 superhit Arya, starring Allu Arjun. Arya 2 saw Allu Arjun paired with Kajal Aggarwal of Singham fame. Director Sukumar was the captain of both the ships.
After all, this is not the first time that Khan has said no to a South Indian remake. Earlier, he refused Mahesh Babu's Hindi remake of Dookudu. Apparently, Khan wasn't keen on playing a cop for the sixth time in Dookudu.
Kareena Kapoor will apparently be roped in to play an item song in Salman Khan's next film titled Dabangg 2 to be directed by Arbaaz Khan.
The shooting for the film Dabangg 2 is expected to begin on March 9th, this year. According to a leading tabloid, Kareena Kapoor will do an item number in the film. Salman Khan is also a very good friend of Kareena. So, it is likely that Bebo will take up the offer.
We know that Kareena is one actress, who can do complete justice to an item song. She proved that in 'Chammak Challo' from Ra.One.
Malaika Arora Khan's item number 'Munni Badnaam Hui' in Dabangg was a huge hit. Hopefully, Kareena will give Malaika a run for money with her item number in Dabangg 2!
