Dhoni @ India's TOP 3 batsman are Slow!!

India skipper MS Dhoni on Sunday supported the Team Management's rotation policy saying one of the top three batsmen (Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir) were rested for each game because they are slow on the field.
"Taking all the three of them into the Playing X1 would affect our fielding in a big way. It's not just these three players, but there are quite a few others who are also slow. If you go to the details, there are only two or three good fielders in the side. Especially, the throwing and diving of the fielders need to be good. Fielding is one are where you could always score. It lifts the morale of the team and keeps the intensity," Dhoni said.
"These fielders are not bad but in Australia where you see big fields, they are slightly on the slower side. The opposition teams (Australia and Sri Lanka) would try to exploit them, whenever the ball goes to them. It's not similar to India, where you pick up the ball and throw it back after touching the boundary. Sometimes, you may end up pulling muscle or a hamstring," he added.

Why Gambhir @ Attacked Sachin?

Indian opener Gautham Gambhir has taken a dig at batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar. If you can't believe it, take a look at the story below...
Reacting to the question about the Rotation Policy, Gambhir backed the decision of the Indian team management. "This was the best XI too. For me, the best XI is the people who had the belief that they can beat any opposition on that given day. And this playing XI had the belief that they can beat Australia in Australia. So for me, One or two individuals can’t make the difference and this was the best playing XI. It's not about names. You don't want names, you want people who can deliver," said Gambhir, after India's win against Australia.
Sachin was the only big names in the team who was dropped from the playing XI for the ODI against Australia. Indian team management's decision to drop Sachin has not gone down well with the spectators, critics and the selectors. All of them questioned, what's the need of dropping a player like Sachin?
May be the criticism on dropping Sachin has angered Gambhir. The left-hander might be fearing that he and Sehwag will be made scapegoat, to allow Sachin play all the ODIs.
Sachin, Sehwag and Gambhir are part of the Rotation Policy. The team management planned that atleast one of these three played should be dropped from the playing XI for each ODI, to give opportunities for youngsters like Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina.
Gambhir didn't even spare Team India skipper Dhoni, who took the match against Australia till the last over. "I don't know why he (Dhoni) delayed and took it till the last over. May be, he wanted somebody else to take the responsibility. If I was there, I would have finished it one or two overs before," he told.
