The star who mesmerized the people with his moments in front of the camera has turned into a cinematographer for a brief time during the by-poll campaign in Narsapuram on Wednesday.
In a surprise move, Chiru took a camera from a media person who is taking pictures of him during the road show and clicked the excited crowd who has come to see him. Fans have gone berserk with the unique act of their star.
For a moment, Chiranjeevi might have reminded the voters of his past glory in the Film Industry. Although Chiru entertained his fans for a minute or two behind the camera, the real joy for them would be when he acts in front of the lens, which means his re-entry into films with the landmark 150th film.
Instead of these gimmicks to attract voters, Chiru should focus on releasing atleast one film before the 2014 polls, the only option which may yield good results for him and his party. Let's see, when this Cameraman Chiru turns into Actor Chiru!

Pawan Kalyan @ Rules The Box Office

There was a complete dry run for him at the box office since a decade and after which he has come with a mega blockbuster in the form of Gabbar Singh and proved his might at the box office. It has been over three weeks since the film has been releasea and it still registering strong collections and full houses at the box office.
Collections were incredibly strong last weekend and if the trend continues this weekend as well, expect some stunning numbers for the film. Harish Shankar has scored back to back hits with this movie and he is in great demand now. Producer Ganesh Babu has produced the movie on Parameshwara Art Productions banner and Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music.

Rowdy Rathore @ Rs 48.5 cr at Box Office

Prabhu Deva's latest Bollywood movie Rowdy Rathore, which stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the leads, has received a fabulous response at the Box Office in India in the first three days. The action thriller film has raked in Rs 48.5 crores nett at the collection centres across the country.
Rowdy Rathore received an overwhelming response at the Box Office on the first day. It registered 95% to 100% occupancy in single screens and 55% to 70% occupancy in multiplexes across the country. The action thriller movie raked in Rs 15.10 crores nett on Friday. 
The business of the movie Rowdy Rathore went a little down on the second day with its collection reaching Rs 14.70 crores nett. But its collection went up by 15% to 20% on Sunday. The film added Rs 18.50 crores to its three days' total collection Rs 48.5 crores nett. With this, it has become the biggest non-holiday weekend.
However, Rowdy Rathore is a remake of Blockbuster Telugu movie Vikramarkudu. The film had a massive promotional activities. In addition, it received positive reviews from film critics. Action King Akshay Kumar himself has been left to wonder by the huge public response for the movie especially in South India.

Sonakshi Sinha @ on Cloud Nine

Dabangg beauty Sonakshi Sinha is on cloud nine and why not? Her second film Rowdy Rathore starring Akshay Kumar was out in theaters and has been doing fantabulous business all over. Sonakshi made her debut with Dabangg, which was a smash hit.
Sonakshi Sinha had to wait for two years to see her next release. Rowdy Rathore has finally come and Sonakshi fetched yet another blockbuster with it. In all likelihood, Rowdy Rathore is going to nett over hundred crores.

Asin-Priyanka-Deepika @ in race for 2 States

2 States movie is in news again. Imran Khan will be playing the lead role in this film which is inspired from Chetan Bhagat’s novel by the same name. Sajidd Nadiadwala is planning to make this film and currently the search is on for a suitable heroine.
If the buzz is to be believed, Asin, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are in race to bag 2 States film. All the three have good relation with Sajid and are likely to bag the offer. The film is about the love story between Punjabi boy and South Indian girl.
So Asin and Deepika would be in contention as they suit the role due to their southern roots. Asin has vast experience of doing more south films and hence she might be leading the race. Watch out for official confirmation on this.

Police station episodes have been completed in this schedule and the unit is going to shoot its next schedule from last week of this month as Mahesh is contributing his dates for 'Seetamma Vakitlo Siremalle Chettu' from June 13. This movie is being produced by Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under 14 Reels Entertainments banner and Kajal Agarwal is acting as the female lead in the movie music is by Devi Sri Prasad. Ratnavel is the cinematographer and Editing by Marthand K Venkatesh. This movie is touted to be a romantic action entertainer which is expected to be released for Pongal 2013.

Prabhas @ looking for a Powerful title

Prabhas’s last movie Mr. Perfect was released in April 2011. He hasn’t been seen in action for more than a year. His next release Rebel will only be out in August as per the news reports. He is also simultaneously doing another film under Koratala Siva direction. Tentatively titled Varadhi, this film is likely to release for next Pongal. Although media circles have been calling this film as Varadhi, the unit members say that it is just a working title. They have been looking for a powerful title that will appeal to mass audience. As of now Varadhi is only a working title. We will get to know the original title shortly. Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyaya are playing the female leads in this film. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for this movie.

Though a film’s duration is for two plus hours a lot of efforts and hardwork goes behind it and even the heroes of the film are no exception. And for stars who have to please their fans, they have to put their skin out to ensure that they deliver the best. And that comes with a price quite often.
We are talking about Allu Arjun and the news is that he hurt his back yet again. Sources say this happened during the song shooting of his upcoming movie ‘Julaayi’. Buzz is that he was pumped up to perform a difficult move composed by Jaani master and ended up hurting his back badly.
However, unit members reveal that Bunny kept the pain aside and reported within a week to complete the shooting. Already, he has a history of hurting himself during the shooting of ‘Arya’ and ‘Badrinath’. He also underwent a shoulder surgery in Australia which kept him out of action for quite a while.
Sources say the song from ‘Julaayi’ was being made with a budget of Rs 65 lakhs and his prompt dedication saved the day for the producers.

Balakrishna’s recent Telugu movie Adhinayakudu, which released world wide on June 1, has reportedly done good business at the Box Office in India. According to trade experts, the Paruchuri Murali directed movie has raked in more than Rs 20.5 crores at the collection centres in first weekend. Adhinayakudu opened to a very good response on Friday with its occupancy ranging between 70% to 100% in single screens and 50% to 75% in multiplexes across the country. The movie collected approximately Rs 7.2 crores at the Box Office on the first day of its release

But, critics are saying that directors are not coming up with stunning scripts to enthral audiences. They say that Tollywood is depending on comedy and glamour to score hits, but not audience, as they like all kinds of movies.

One would agree to core that ‘gabbar singh’ is a mind-blowing hit which showcased the powerful commercial stamina of Pawan Kalyan. When producer Bandla Ganesh Babu has skipped the historical episode of revealing total collection figures, independent trade sources have gone at their will to come up with their own numbers. Any figure between Rs.50 and 60 Crores by start of fourth week would have been a realistic share number for ‘gabbar singh.’ (Un)fortunately, a top and latest business analysis portal ‘business-standard.com’ has gone to the extent of reporting a staggering collection of Rs.128.75 Crores in just three weeks run for ‘gabbar singh,’ putting the domestic and global markets together. A matter of fact is, ‘Dabangg’ being the original to ‘GS’ has grossed just over Rs.173 Crores. If gross is Rs.128.75 Croes, by the vague rule of Tollywood...share should be at the least 55 to 58% of gross which means share of 'GS' would end up nearly at Rs.70 Crores. (Actually, Gross = Total Collections (Number of tickets Sold multiplied by Ticket Price), Nett = Gross - Entertainment Tax, Share = Net – Theatre Rent and Other Miscellaneous Expenditure and Profit = Share – Production Costs Involved in making the Film). Though unbelievable and impractical, Power Star Fans are happy to hear the news while the shocked trade sources in industry aren’t mindful in calling these collection reports as ‘Paid’ or ‘Fake’ and not the ‘Original.’ Alone Ganesh Babu can answer the reliability and range of ‘GS.’

Power Holidays @ A Death Blow to Tollywood

Till now, there is a opinion in public that piracy is the biggest threat for Telugu Film Industry. But the government's inability to supply electricity to the theaters is making them think otherwise.
A three days 'power holiday' has been announced to cinema halls in as many as five districts of AP, which means power willn't be supplied for theaters. Including East and West, three more coastal districts were in this list. Most of the theaters were already shut in these districts, as the capacity of the existing generators won't be sufficient to run 4 shows per day. At the time when the Industry is rejoicing with the news of biggest summer (Racha, Dammu and Gabbar Singh), the lack of power supply to theaters ruined their happiness.
One of the reasons why Producers were keen to release their films in Summer season is people prefer to watch films for Air Condition, due to heavy power cuts in residential areas. As power holiday is in affect now, they have no other option but to experience the heat generated by the scorching sun. Shame on Government!

The ensuing by-polls in the state have caught the attention of people so much so that even media has no time to cover the updates of high-profile wedding of Ram Charan.
Surprisingly, Charan is very happy with this hyped up hungama over the by-polls. As there is no media coverage for the wedding now, he is comfortable spending quality time with his fiancee Upasana. The soon-to-be-wed couple are busy going for shopping, planning the marriage celebrations and their honeymoon trip. Even the Mega and Kamineni families has no interest for TV channels coverage. In fact, both the families are maintaining secrecy about the plans for wedding rather than updating the media with the happenings.
