Five Heroines @ in Mahesh-Venky SVSC?

Victory Venkatesh and Prince Mahesh Babu starrer 'seethamma vaakitlo sirimalle chettu's first schedule shoot is currently on its brisk pace in Vizag. It is learnt that the movie is filled with maximum number artists and moreover, it is reportedly understood that five heroines have been roped in for this movie.

Jayaprada, the veteran beauty of tollywood is likely to be seen as the wife of Prakash Raj and the mother of Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu. 'Journey' movie's heroine 'Anjali' is pairing up with Venkatesh while Samantha is doing opposite to Mahesh Babu. Swetha Basu Prasad is the sister of both Venky and Mahesh. Finally, Amala Paul will be seen as 'Maradalu' of both the brothers. Although, this news is said to be a gossip as of now, chances are more to come into reality.

Puri's @ Sensible reply in Businessman's SM!!

The success meet of Pongal hit, 2012, 'businessman' was held on 23rd January at Novatel in Hyderabad. Instead of boasting off the movie through monotonous speeches by the stars and technicians, the press meet was proceeded through question and answer method. Besides the cast and crew of the movie, director Ram Gopal Varma also joined the meet. Mahesh Babu's was so witty in answering rapid fire kind of questionnaire.

When Puri was asked his reaction about the complaint lodged by the activists of Bhajarang Dal alleging they got hurt their feelings as lord Sri Rama and Sri Krishna were dishonoured in one of the songs, he sensibly replied that all the cast and crew who attended the function belong to Hindu religion and their feelings were not hurt with any such sequences of the movie. Once again Puri proved how smart he is, through this answer.

NTR, Ram Charan, Mahesh Kill SM??

The rift between big moviemakers and small moviemakers has been ongoing in Tollywood and there are folks like Natti Kumar who vent out their steam from time to time. While that is on, here is an observation which is raising concern among the filmnagar folks.

It is being noticed that the big heroes like NTR Jr, Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu are coming up with film releases in such a way that it is killing the small movies. apparently, they are competing with each other and coming in 1500 plus theatres and the count is increasing with each of their films.

Due to this, the question is - when will small movies release? The cine analysts say “At this rate, down the line the chances are high that the number of small films will reduce. Finally, they will come in TV. For news sake they will arrive in theatres, stay for a week and get into the small screen. Even the budget also will come down. Like the adage goes ‘Poor becomes poorer and rich becomes richer’ that seems to hold good for cinema industry too.”

Mahesh Babu @ is the Best Actor in India!!

Director Ram Gopal Varma is awestruck with Mahesh Babu’s performance in Businessman movie. He termed him as the best actor in India now. Earlier he said that no one is a better actor than Amitabh. But now he says that Mahesh is hundred percent better than Amitabh as an actor.

“It is very tough to do such a role with lot of intensity. It is highly impossible to carry it with such an ease. But Mahesh cakewalked all the way. That shows how good an actor he is,” RGV stated. Even Mahesh Babu says that this character is the most challenging one for him till date.

“The film was completed in seventy odd days. That’s a blessing for me. Why because I may not have sustained the same intensity if it was shot in hundred or more days. I am totally in love with Surya Bhai character,” Mahesh told.

Vijay Snehitudu @ Hyderabad Theaters list!!

Director Shanker, who don't need any introduction is now coming with a feel good movie 'Snehitudu' to steel the Tollywood box office again. This time he is introducing Tamil superstar Vijay to the Tollywood. 'Snehitudu' movie is a remake version of Hindi super hit '3 Idiots' and dubbed version of Tamil movie 'Nanban'.

This movie is slated for release on Jan 26. Dil Raju releasing this movie through Sri Venkateswara creations banner and he is expecting it to take a rocking start at the box office. Snehitudu is releasing in decent number of screens and it got more than thirty screens in Hyderabad alone.

Vijay, Sri Ram and Jeeva are acting in the lead roles and Ileana is playing the female lead in this film. Harris Jayaraj is the music director and this movie is produced by Gemini Film Circuit.

Mr. Nokia @ hits the screens on Feb 3!!

With Nippu and Poola Rangadu releases being postponed to Feb 17 and Feb 10 respectively, Mr Nokia is trying to cash in on the vacant week. Manchu Manoj’s Mr Nokia movie will release on February 3rd. It will be the only notable film to release in that week.

Pongal films have slowed down now and this week witnesses a dubbing film Snehitudu’s release. So, it is right time for a straight film to release in the first week of February. Manoj plays an energetic character in this movie.

Kriti Kharbanda and Sana Khan are playing female leads in it. Yuvan Shankar Raja scored music to Mr. Nokia. Recently released audio has few good numbers to draw the attention of audience.

Comeback @ Queens of Tollywood!!

Last year we have witnessed Tamanna coming back to Tollywood with a bang. She has bagged big films in Tollywood and also ditched Tamil films for reaching the top in Telugu cinema. Last year wasn’t happening for Ileana and Anushka, who were once on the top chair in Tollywood.

It was the turn of cast and crew of Kadhalil Sodhapuvadhu Eppadi to meet the media in Chennai on Monday.

The movie is produced and enacted by Siddharth. The trailer of the movie was launched on the occasion.

Cinematographer Nirav Shah and Y Not Studios are co-producing the film. The movie is directed by Balaji Mohan.

Amala Paul is playing Siddharth's love interest in this film. Music is by Thaman, while cinematography by Nirav Shah.

Happy to marry Prasanna @ Sneha!!

Sneha who announced her wedding with actor Prasanna last November has said that she is happy to enter wedlock with Prasanna.

The two had shared the screen in Achamundu Achamundu and fell in love then. After almost couple of years announced that they would get married.

Taking part in a function in Tiruchy, the home town of Prasanna on Wednesday, Sneha said, ' I will become the daughter-in-law of Tiruchy now. I am happy about it'.

Kamal Hassan @ Praises Vijay's Nanban!!

Actor Kamal Hassan knows the difficulty in doing Hindi remakes. He had been part of Vasool raja, is maker of Munna bhai MBBS and also remade A Wednesday as Unnaipol Oruvan.

After watching Nanban, a remake of Three Idiots in a special preview, the actor was elated. He said, ' retaining the same essence and flavor of the original is a difficult task. Kudos to Shankar for it'.

He also expressed his laurels on Vijay for playing the lead role with finesse. The movie was watched by Kamal Hassan accompanied by Vijay in city.

Radhika @ Complaint against Vishal!!

Radhika Sarath Kumar of Radaan Pictures filed a complaint with Nadigar Sangam against Vishal for non-payment of Rs 9 crore for the release of his recent film Vedi.

She alleged in her complaint that Vishal agreed to pay Rs 12 crore for release of the film and Rs three crore was obtained towards satellite rights. However the cheque for the remaining sum of Rs nine crore given by Vishal to her had bounced.

She urged the Nadigar Sangam to intervene and get her the money back.

Mani Rathnam's @ film title in trouble!!

Pookadai is said to be the title of ace director Mani Rathnam's upcoming movie. But it seems like there will be a title change for the movie.

Recently one of the assitant's of director Saran met the Directors Association and claimed that the title Pookadai has been registered by him long back.

The news Mani Rathnam and he is said to be irked with the issue. The film which is a love story revolves around the lives of Rameshwaram fishermen who stuck in the hands of Lankan army.

The song, awards gave him a big break to enter the Bollywood industry with the project of Anand L Rai.

The director who gave a romantic comedy film titled 'Tanu weds Manu' with Madhavan and Kangana Raunut in the lead became one of the hit films of 2011 in Bollywood.

Now the director has signed Dhanush for the lead role and film has been titled as 'Raanjhnaa'. The shooting for the film will take place in the regions of Varanasi.

Right now, a powerful strategy is being implemented by the producers, who are making movies with star heroes. As per this strategy, despite the movie's talk on its first day, the movie has to collect at least Rs.40 crores share and a minimum of Rs.60 crores gross. To achieve this goal, the producers are going for a gigantic release of their movies. Releasing a movie in 1000+ theaters will be a common thing here after. Controlling the video piracy of the movie at least for two weeks after its release will be the added advantage for getting good collections. Apparently, the golden era of Telugu movie is coming back.

Businessman @ Upsets Dil Raju Camp!!

Peoples answer to the stamina of a Star-hero and sensational-director is nothing but the 'success' of BUSINESSMAN. The movie's sky-rocketing performance at BO has upset many and here is another such story.

Dil Raju, the gigantic producer of Telugu Cinema Industry looks upset with BUSINESMAN. This is not because the movie is doing extremely well in terms of trade. The 'dates' of Mahesh have become a big problem for them. Earlier, Mahesh used to allot years and years for a movie and allowed the directors to sculpt as they like. But he finished BUSINESSMAN in a record time of 74 days and now this is making 'trains run in Dil Raju camp's hearts'.

Currently, Mahesh is doing SEETHAMMA VAKITLO SIRIMALLE CHETTU for Dil Raju, under the direction of Srikanth Addala. After this movie, he wants to jump immediately to Sukumar's project. The director of SVSC, Srikanth is said to be shooting at a snail's pace in the name of 'quality'. As the dates of Mahesh are finishing faster, tensions are building up in the camp, say insiders.

A lot has been happening since the time 'Businessman' has arrived and the success wave it has created. Things got into a major frenzy after director Puri Jagannadh announced that he would be doing a sequel to it and it would feature prince Mahesh Babu in a dual role.

However, the speculations and confusions increased when Puri announced that he would be doing a film with Pawan Kalyan. There was also a talk that the sequel has been shelved or left in the cold storage. Just when everyone were beginning to give up, here is the latest update.

However, Allu Arvind is said to be insisting Puri to produce the movie on ‘Geetha Arts’ banner. Though Pavan gave the consent just few days back, Arvind is waiting from a long time to get Puri direct under his company. Let us see what happens!
