Ilayathalapathy Vijay has come up to clear the rumour mills created around him and director AR.Murugadoss about Thuppakki.
Some sections of the media has reported that, Thuppakki shooting was halted due to misunderstandings between Vijay and director Murugadoss, which was now aired by the actor. Vijay say’s, “No issue like this, Thuppakki will revive once tussles between TFPC and FEFSI are called off.”
Speaking about his future choices Vijay told, “I will be choosing similar roles to that of Nanban and will rarely do action entertainers.” And the actor concluded saying, “I would love to do performance oriented scripts like Nanban.”
Director Selvaraghavan, who is currently busy with a bilingual movie with Arya and Anushka in the leads titled Irandam Ulagam in Tamil, is planning for yet another Telugu/Tamil bilingual film with Tollywood Star Allu Arjun and multifaceted beauty Shruti Haasan in the leads.
Selvaraghavan, who gathered good audiences for his films in Tollywood after directing films like Adavari Matalakau Ardhale Verule and Yuganiki Okkadu along with K-town cine goers, is now in talks with Allu Arjun, son of producer Allu Aravind regarding the script.
If everything goes well, Selvaraghavan will direct Allu Arjun and Shruti Haasan in the movie, which will also mark the debut of Allu Arjun in Kollywood. As of now, each of them is busy with their own respective films.
Amidst all the ongoing strike seems like Vijay's Thuppaki has found its own way.
When all shootings of major films are cancelled including Thuppaki, all other process are going in full swing for the film adds a source.
It was the season of Singer Krish it seems earlier he sung the intro song of Ajith's Billa 2. Now it is Ilayathalapathy Vijay and to be precise Krish is one great fan of the star.
Both Krish and Vijay family get together for their family occasions most of the time. Sources say that Krish has sung a beautiful melody for Vijay's Thuppaki.
Thuppaki is directed by AR Murugadoss with cinematography by Santhosh Sivan and music by Harris Jayaraj.
Kajal Agarwal is paired opposite Vijay in Thuppaki.

Young Rebel Star Prabhas's forthcoming movie Rebel will begin its last schedule from Feb 23 and will continue till Mar 12 in Shamshabad. In this schedule, the production is planning to shoot crucial scenes of the film on Prabhas, Tamanna, Deeksha Seth, Krishnam Raju and others. With this schedule, the entire shooting of Rebel will be completed and the makers are planning to release the movie in the last week of May. Rebel is being produced jointly by J Pullarao and J Bhagawan under the banner Sri Balaji Cine Media and directed by Raghava Lawrence.
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty, who is generally ultracool, has slammed actresses Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Asin for spreading rumors about featuring in his upcoming film. This is perhaps the first time in Bollywood a director has publicly criticized actresses for apparently spreading rumors about his film. It seems Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Asin were spreading rumors that they are enacting in director Rohit Shetty’s upcoming movie ‘Chennai Express”. A vexed up Rohit wrote ‘I want to tell people to please stop this circus! I have a film to complete right now, so I want to focus on that. Till I return from Panchgani, I won't approach anyone. I don't know where these rumours are coming from. In all probability, none of these actresses will be signed for the role. But yes, this is a performance-oriented role and we need a beautiful face, so we will definitely sign an established name.’

A case of assault was registered against Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan at the Colaba police station for fracturing the nose of a South African businessman of Indian origin Iqbal Sharma at Wasabi, a restaurant at the hotel Taj on Tuesday night. The actor was booked under the sections 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
"We (My family & I) were enjoying the meal at the restaurant. Saif and his friends were at a nearby table, making loud noise and creating ruckus. So, we asked the management to intervene and keep it down. This failed on three attempts atleast. So, then we decided to move down stairs," said Iqbal Sharma.
"In the meantime, Saif has gone out of the restaurant. He was coming back in, while we were going out. We crossed at the narraow passage, while going down stairs. At that point, he came up to me and abused me. He said "Why are you complaining? If you want everything quiet, you should go to library. This is not a library. Whom do you think I am? Don't you know, who I am?". We exchanged some words and after that he pushed me. At that time my father-in-law intervened and Saif attacked him by punching on the face. Three of his friends who were sitting at the table till that time joined Saif and all the four of them started punching. My nose is broken and My ear-drum is sore," he added.
As section 325 is a bailable offence, Saif would be arrested and then the bail will be granted. "Saif Ali Khan's arrest in inevitable. After considering the surety, bail will be granted. We had already sent our teams to his Bandra residence, but he is not there. Even his mobile was switched off," said the ACP.
Reports say, the actor's girlfriend Kareena Kapoor was present at Taj on the night of the scuffle. The police have confirmed that Kareena will be questioned and her statement will be recorded.
Jr NTR is waiting for a big hit from some time as much of movies released in last two years where either averages or duds. Hero Ram is extremely confident about his upcoming film Endukante Premanta. It is also being dubbed in Tamil and as per the news sources it will be released simultaneously in both the languages. Now there is an interesting gossip that is making rounds among the filmnagar circles that Ram is planning to use Endukante... as a weapon to take revenge on director Gautham Menon.
Why is Ram targeting Menon? Ram was roped in for Menon's Eto Vellipoyindi Manasu and later was replaced by Nani as the actor didn't like the style of Menon's filmmaking. Gautham Menon planned this film as a trilingual and has been simultaneously shooting all the three versions, which means the actors had to wait for their turn until Menon is done with the shots of other two versions.
Ram didn't like his time being wasted sitting idle and asked for shooting Telugu version separately, but his request was vehemently turned down by Gautham Menon. He asked Ram to walk out if he is not comfortable and the actor left the film after shooting for ten days. Now it is payback time for Ram as he is planning to release Endukante Premanta along with EVPM in Telugu and Tamil. Although Menon is a brand in Tamil, he will have to face the heat of Ram in Telugu as his film will be preferred to Gautham's if released at the same time. Bollywood hero, well known in the South for his Love Aaj Kal and Dil Chahta Hai movies, got arrested by the Mumbai police an hour back. According to reports, the actor got into a fist-to-fist tiff with an NRI businessman at a Five Star hotel of the city.
Iqbal Sharma, an NRI Businessman dining at the Taj hotel along with his family got furious over the remarks made by Saif and team who are sitting at the adjoining table. Before Saif got into the fight, war of words has broken between the two teams with one member from the Bollywood hunk's team asking Iqbal to go to library to find peace.
