Anushka plays Karthi’s pair in this film. Devi Sri Prasad will be scoring the music for Alex Pandian.

Arya, Andrea & Sneha in M.Rajesh’s OKOK
The famous director M.Rajesh, who offers suspense to his audiences in every film, has zeroed in Arya, Andrea and Sneha to play cameos in OKOK. It’s Rajesh likeness to rope top actors and actresses to play surprise visitors in his films, while Jeeva played a guest role in Arya starrer Boss Engira Bhaaskaran, it was Arya’s turn to play cameo for Jeeva in Siva Manasule Shakthi and now he repeated it in Udhayanidhi starrer Oru Kal Oru Kannadi.
OKOK records the star producer Udhayanidhi Stalin’s debut as hero pairing opposite bubbly actress Hansika. Balasubramaniem is cranking the camera, Harris Jayraj is composing the music for OKOK produced under Red Giant Movies. The makers are gearing up for the audio launch on 24th February.

Two debacles in a row have maligned the opportunities galore for Ram. GANESH and RAMA RAMA KRISHNA KRISHNA are the ones that choked the young hero’s image to an average hero. While KANDIREEGA scored few brownie points, producer Bellamkonda and director Santosh Srinivas walked away with the credits. In fact, it was also another routine commercial melodrama that looked like a juice of so many Telugu movies. Desperate for a hit, Ram has pulled 'love story' specialist Karunakaran on board for his uncle, Sravanthi Ravikishore's production ENDUKANTE PREMANTA. People are saying that in the name of 'uncle', Ram is handling all the production of the film. The actor is sharing with his close friends that this flick is the most expensive of his films till date with lavish spending on looks and locations.
On the other hand, most of Karunakaran's high budgeted entertainers failed to do well at the Box Office. The director generally cooks too much 'action' part if the budget is available in plenty leading to a crunch in collections. Maybe that is the reason, why Ram himself is handling the production. There is no surprise, even if Ram is also an investor for the movie!

Bollywood actors indulging in twitter battles have been happening at regular intervals. Recently Farah Khan’s husband and filmmaker Sirish Kundar had made sarcastic digs at Shah Rukh Khan through his Twitter account, which led to a showdown between them at a Mumbai hotel.
Early today morning Dhanush`s video `Sachin Anthem` for Sachin Tendulkar made by the energy drink Boost which was premiered on Youtube yesterday (Feb 9) was removed for copyright infringement.
Dhanush had tweeted at that time : “Some people smile at other people’s misery. I smile right back at them for not knowing the purpose of being a human being.
It’s called love. God bless.”A few hours later the video was back on Youtube after Dhanush took legal steps to restore it.
Meanwhile Simbu aka STR who was in US, still busy with his ‘Love Anthem’ , tweeted : “Copy Adikaradhula Chinaava Vida Bayangarama Irrukangaley !!!” Later Dhanush tweeted : “I did the song for free brother. Sneha was supposed to do the role of Rajnikanth's sister in the movie to be directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth. Deepika Padukone will play the heroine.
Sources say with Sneha opting out of the project, the baton has been passed to Rukmani. The movie has Jackie Shroff, Sarath Kumar, Aadhi, Nasser among others in the cast.

In the current generation superstars, Pawan Kalyan and Junior NTR are big fans of the legendary star. While PK and Mahesh will not be very willing to remake an NTR magnum opus, the grandson could do it when he thinks he has attained that maturity. (He said this as much that he (Junior) has a long way to go for a mythological).
Mahesh has categorically stated that he will not touch the classics, be it of his father (like Alluri Sitharamaraju) or that of NTR, with barge pole. "They are marvels. I do not want to spoil them by remaking them", Mahesh has stated.

Ajith Speaks @ About the 'Superstar' Title!!
Ajith stated 'i will always say that Rajinikanth sir as the only Superstar of Indian Cinema and i think that no one can replace his title'.
When asked whether he can think someone else in the Superstar's place, for which Ajith intervened and said 'No i am just focusing on delivering one film each year and personally i won't prefer to any titles that's why i even withdrew the Ultimate Star title.
Also i don't want to talk about others who are looking forward to the title.

Sudheer is getting full blown support from entire family of his in laws. Mahesh is making free time between his tight schedules to promote Sudheer. Krishna, Vijaya Nirmala and Manjula have been doing their best to register to the audience that Sudheer is from their family. Krishna and co might have noticed that there is space for Sudheer to grow as a star.
Mahesh and Krishna fans have been on a high with back to back blockbusters and Sudheer may not get better time for a launch. He should get ample support from Ghattamaneni fans as they didn't have another hero to cheer for. Let us see if Sudheer has it in him to make a mark for himself on the celluloid.

Titled as 'Cameraman Gangatho Ramababu', the name itself has generated huge sparks in Film Nagar. According to reports, Pawan Kalyan gave an immediate consent to this title and as expected, Pawan Kalyan is Journalist Rambabu in the film. What needs to be known is whether the other character, ie., cameraman Ganga is a male or a female. If it is another male, then there is no doubt the film will become a multi-starrer as Puri generally casts sparkling actors for such roles.
If it is female, then the movie may get the color of Tamil movie RANGAM, is the talk of Film Nagar now. 'We cannot describe the excitement in words. A big 'ooooooo' for Puri Jagan is what we can say and this is our dream to see our heartthrob actor in the direction of Puri...', stated a Pawan Kalyan fan with overwhelmed joy.

Story:Siva (Sudhir) is a courier boy, who falls in love with RJ Shruti (Regina) at the first sight. They cheat each other by telling lies about their professions and later they come to know about the actual facts. Cat and mouse game starts between the two which eventually turns into unexpressed love. Siva’s odd behavior puts Shruti off and the couple gets separated. How they unite forms the climax of the film.
Analysis:
SMS is a romantic comedy which doesn’t take itself serious. That is the beauty of this cute little fun film. The film starts off on a dull note. Initial scenes don’t impress you much. But once the ‘love fight’ starts between the lead pair, things get smoother and funnier.
There are numerous one liners that will have you in splits. Also the love story seems cute and sweet in the first hour. Despite some shortcomings, SMS first half does impress the audience. Second half too is dealt in a lighter vein mode.
Inconsistency in hero’s characterization seems to be the biggest problem for SMS. He doesn’t act wise and speaks trash that puts the heroine as well as the audience off. Director made it up with the neatly done climax sequence.
SMS is a movie for young audience and it will please the target audiences. It is worth a watch for the comedy and freshness.
Performances: Sudhir did a fine job for a first timer. He is good at dances. Voice seems to be his biggest weakness. Performance wise he is okay. Regina is the find of the season. She did a brilliant job. Vinay Mohan is hilarious with his comedy punches. Vennela Kishore too excelled in his role. Saranya is loud. Tagubothu Ramesh did his usual ‘drunkard’ comedy in one scene. Kasi Viswanadh and others are okay in their respective roles.
Technicalities:
Music by Selva Ganesh is average. Songs are good to watch, but not great on ears. Nandyala Ravi’s dialogues are pretty good. Chitti Babu’s cinematography is just okay. There is nothing noticeable on the editor’s part. Production values are fine.
Director Tatineni Satya handled the movie well barring few odd scenes. He should try to make a straight movie as remakes will never give the clear picture about a director’s talent. He made subtle yet effective changes to the original script and that is laudable.
Final Word:
SMS is a fun movie which should get good response from the target audience. It falls in the category of films like Ala Modalaindi, Ashta Chamma etc. Watch SMS if you liked those films.
