Nara Rohit Can Be A Parallel To Gopichand

When an aspiring hero emerges in Tollywood, inspection happens on whether he can make it big or not. And when the hero happens to be from a powerful family, the checking becomes double. That is something which happened with the arrival of Nara Rohit and his second film ‘Solo’.

Those who saw the film said “Rohit has a good screen presence and the advantage for him is his voice. Moreover, he has that sharp and intense look which is a rare feature among actors. So, he should try and mould his image towards getting into hardcore action treats and serious films.”
Another group said “If Rohit does Gopichand type of movies he will shine. But if he wants to prove himself as a lover boy then lot of changes are required. Also, he should stop imitating Ravi Teja while doing comedy and develop a mark of his own.” Let us see how Rohit works on this.

Story:
Gowtham (Rohith) is an orphan, who dreams of having his own family. Gowtham feels that if he marries a girl from a big family then he could have all the relatives. So he tries his best to find one such girl. He falls for Vaishnavi (Nisha) as she has everything that he is looking for. She is the daughter of Raghupathi (Prakash Raj), who wants his daughter to marry a man from a joint family. He rejects Gowtham as he is an orphan. The love pair got separated. How do they convince Raghupathi is the rest of the story.
Performances:
Rohith is rigid. He couldn’t emote well. His diction and screen presence is good. But he should concentrate on his expressions to be in business. Nisha Agarwal’s performance is not convincing. She should also work on her expressions. Prakash Raj is perfect as heroine’s father. He steals the show. Jayasudha is fine. Srinivasa Reddy is entertaining. Ali is alright. Sayaji Shinde  and others did their bit.

Analysis:
Solo film has a simple story. Director Parashuram penned down a solid screenplay to narrate this simple point like his guru Puri Jagannadh. The film’s flow until interval point is smooth. The takeoff is good in the second half too. But the film’s color changes all of a sudden.
Until interval it is an entertaining story with ample fun. When the hero’s character takes a U turn, the mood of the film too has changed big time. Although it is understandable, few may not like the sudden shift. Director should have tried to include some funny characters in the marriage atmosphere without changing the mood of the hero. So that it would have pleased the audiences that look for comedy throughout the film.

On a whole, the mood of the film is alright. This story has to be dealt this way. There is nothing wrong in the approach of the director. Instead of being vocal all the time, he should have tried to show the pain of the protagonist visually. Saying so, we should admit that the dialogues are pretty good.
Solo is being promoted as an entertaining love story. But it is actually an emotional love story blended with some amount of comedy. The makers of the film should immediately focus on the publicity and packaging!

Solo @ Premier Show Talk is quite Positive

The early buzz surrounding Nara Rohit’s upcoming film Solo is quite positive, if the reports are to be believed. The film was screened to a select audience in Prasad Labs, Hyderabad earlier today and we hear that the pre-release report about the film is that it’s a sensible film with good emotions. Some members of Solo’s cast and crew including Nara Rohit, Nisha Aggarwal, Parasuram, Srinivas Reddy and few others were present at this screening along with some other filmmakers like Anand Ranga, Chaitanya Dantuluri, Nandini Reddy, Praveen Sri among many others. After Yuvatha and Anjaneyulu, this film is Parasuram’s third film as a director. Vamshi Krishna Srinivas has produced the film on SVK Cinema banner. Mani Sharma has composed the music. The film is all set to release on November 25.

Solo Grand Release today

Nara Rohit’s romantic action entertainer ‘Solo- A Solid Love Story’, is gearing up for a grand release today. The movie has been directed by Parasuram and Vamsi Krishna Srinivas is the producer. The movie has received a U/A from the censor board.

Solo is about the love story of an orphan and his attempts to win over the affection of a family. Prakash Raj and Jaya Sudha have put in some solid performances and Mumaith Khan will sizzle in an item number.
Mani Sharma has scored the tunes for this movie. Nisha Aggarwal is the heroine opposite Nara Rohit. The movie has received a good early buzz. Review will be updated soon stay here.
