Mahesh Babu has a special bond with police characters. Whenever he does a cop role, he bags a big hit with it. Pokiri and Dookudu movies in which he is a cop, are good hits at the box office. Now his fans are dreaming to see him in a full-fledged cop role.

In Pokiri and Dookudu he works as an undercover cop and is seen in civil dresses all the time. In both the movies, he appears with police uniform in just one scene. Both the scenes got thunderous applause from his fans.
Now Mahesh Babu fans expect to see him in a police role in which he will be seen in police uniform throughout the movie. They are also suggesting a title for this film. They feel that Ajay IPS would suit him the most. He played Ajay in Okkadu and Dookudu movies and both the films were hits. Mahesh Declares Dookudu As Tollywood's Biggest

Finally, the time has come to make a new announcement. This is about the biggest grosser of Tollywood and wave goodbye to ‘Magadheera’. Yes, the new film in tow is ‘Dookudu’ and it is heard that this has been declared as the highest grosser in history of Telugu cinema by none other than Mahesh Babu in his twitter account.

Reports say that the film had touched more than Rs 70 crores within the first two weeks of running. According to sources, the overseas collection alone touched around Rs 10 crores. Mahesh reportedly added that this sort of success was truly unbelievable.
 Meanwhile, the cine pundits and analysts are in awe of ‘Dookudu’s success. They attribute this success to an engrossing screenplay, the presence and aura of Mahesh Babu, the Sreenu Vaitla flavour comedy and the action. Way to go ‘Dookudu’ and team!!

NTR, Ramcharan, Allu @ Police Stories

A new grapevine is making rounds in the filmnagar area. It is heard that many writers are currently busy in their offices with only one mission. They are coming up with police stories that can fit the likes of young superstars like Junior NTR, Ramcharan Tej and Allu Arjun.

The cine folks say “So far in their careers, none of these three have done a full length police role. When a star with strong mass following does a tough cop role, it gives a different kick. So, the writers are racking their brains to come up with various formats of police like the intelligent cop, tough cop, strict cop, fearless cop etc.”
 They add “Even Ravi Teja shot to fame due to ‘Vikramarkudu’ and his role as a cop in that. Now, Salman Khan is riding high with ‘Dabangg’ while Ajay Devgn struck gold with his ‘Singham’. Daggubati Rana is creating shock waves in Mumbai by revealing his tough cop role in the film ‘Department’. This is going to be a very interesting concept. All of them might be seen as cops very soon. Already, Pawan Kalyan is doing it through 'Gabbar Singh'.

Anything for Prabhas says Heroines

Young Rebelstar Prabhas untitled film in the direction of renouned writer Koratala Shiva will soon go to the sets. Currently, the film unit is in search of two heroines to romance Prabhas. 

As far as one knows, there was tough competition between the actresses to bag a role in this film.

"Few top heroines are in the race and there were obligations from all courters. But, nothing has been finalized yet.  Heroines were ready to go to any extent to bag a film opposite Prabhas. They also assuring full co-operation as far as glamour show is concerned," said a source close to the unit.
As this film is tauted to be an action entertainer, skin show is guaranteed. And what's more can any fan could ask, if there are two hotties along with Prabhas in the flick. Let's hope, Prabhas picks up his 'perfect' match!

NTR - Not just a Demigod, but God himself

Here is a small story of what's the influence of Legend NTR on the Telugus.

Recently, a Nandamuri fan went to a small villiage near Bobbili to attend the function at his friend's house. He was surprised to see NTR's photos (as Lord Rama and Lord Krishna) in the puja room, instead of many gods we worship.  When he quizzed about it, they said that it's a regular practice for them to pray NTR.

After knowing that, It's a different feeling to him altogether and said he never experienced such thing in his entire life. He said himself that "I'm proud to be a Nandamuri fan and will always be the same for the rest of my life".
Although we have many actors, NTR is the one and only to be treated by most of the people as nothing less than God. Infact, he is the only actor in Indian Cinema History to attain such a stature. Pawan Kalyan Turns 'Bond'

A desi look at the popular Ian Felmming's secret agent 007 James Bond is in the making.Buzz is that the MI6 agent role will be played by Pawan Kalyan.

The film was an adaptation of Dr No and To Russia with love, the first two film of James Bond. In the later part, Bond movies were highly technical, subject wise and production wise, which became for small market producers to adapt.

Things have now changed, like the Bond series and Telugu industry is in a position to try for an adaptation and the word is that Surender Reddy is the chosen director for the film.Reddy who is basking in the glory of the success of Oosaravilli opted for Pavan Kalyan to play the role of James Bond. The option shifted to Pavan Kalyan as Jr NTR has a busy schedule ahead.
 Pavan has two films, Panja and Gabbar Singh on hand and the James Bond film will be the third one. The film will be coming out under the RR Movie.

Mega Fans Upset with Ram Charan

The last few days have been abuzz of Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannath plan to remake 'Khaidi'. This news might be a good one for Mahesh and Puri fans, but not for Mega fans. As they never imagined in their wildest dreams that Mahesh would reprise the role of 'Suryam' originally played by Chiru, instead of Charan and that too in a landmark film of their demigod.
 However, Mega fans were blaming Charan for not taking the initiative to do Khaidi remake untill now, which eventually has given chance to Mahesh Babu.

"The first choice for Khaidi remake should be Ram Charan. If Cherry is not interested, Pawan or Bunny should take up the responsibility. We will welcome, if anyone of these three can do it. Other than these heroes, no one have the moral right to do the remake, unless they get a positive nod from Chiru," said a Mega fan.
With the sudden developments, the pressure is mounting on Ram Charan from the Mega fans, as they don't want him to miss the golden oppurtunity. Let's see, who will be the next Megastar?

Ganga -The Bodyguard on Nov 24th

Victory Venkatesh is coming up with ‘Ganga – The Bodyguard’ and the latest news in the industry is that the movie is gearing up to release on November 24th. The movie is an official remake of the Malayalam Blockbuster ‘Bodyguard’. Gopichand Malineni is directing the movie and Bellamkonda Suresh is the producer.

Trisha is the heroine opposite Venkatesh in this movie and music has been composed by Thaman. The audio launch will take place in the first week of November. The production recently returned from a schedule in Canada where a couple of songs were canned on Venkatesh and Trisha.

Ganga -The Bodyguard will clash at the Box Office with Nara Rohit’s Solo, which is also expected to hit the screens on the same day

Sridevi to make a comeback in Telugu!

Sridevi is all set to make her comeback in Telugu; however it’s not going to be a direct Telugu film. Although she quit acting over a decade ago, Sridevi still continues to be one of the most loved and popular actress in Telugu cinema. In the past months, there have been several rumours that she might act in a direct Telugu film and some even went to the extent of claiming that she might play the lead role in Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. Sridevi had rubbished all the rumours and she’s currently shooting for her comeback film, English Vinglish.

The film is primarily being made in Hindi by Gauri Shinde, the wife of Balki (the director of Paa, Cheeni Kum). Balki is producing the film. Keeping Sridevi’s popularity in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu in view, Gauri and Balki have decided to make ‘English Vinglish’ in Telugu and Tamil as well and simultaneously release the film in all three languages.

Ram Charan went to Sabarimala!

Ram charan Tej who is in Ayyappamala for the past 41 days went to visit Sabarimala Ayyappa temple to end his 41 days Ayyappa deeksha after successful completion of mandalam. Ram Charan and his close friend who is also in Ayyappa Deeksha is now Sabarimala to offer the prayers to the Lord Ayyappa Swamy.

Ram Charan will be engaged to his longtime girlfriend Upasana Kamineni in next month at Domakonda Fort.

Recently Ram Charan has completed the shooting schedule of his upcoming film "Rachcha" in Goa. Rachcha is said to be a full mass entertainer film and Tamannh is playing the female lead role and Sampath Nandi is directing the film.
