Mahesh @ SVSC Satellite Rights Fetches 8.5 Cr

Victory Venkatesh and Superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming multi starrer movie 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'  is making news even before it release. Well the latest buzz says, satellite rights of this movie has been sold out to a popular TV channel for a whopping amount of 8.5 Cr. Producer Dil Raju must have already estimated this, as the movie has got stars like Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu and Samantha. Srikantha Addala is directing this family entertainer and Mickey.J.Meyer is composing the music. 'SVSC' is being produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Recently released teaser trailer of this movie gathered tremendous response and increased hype on the movie.

Big difference @ between Tollywood & Bollywood

Bollywood always have an edge over their South counterparts, when it comes to pre-release business, reach and range of the films.
For example, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar's recent film 'Rowdy Rathore' was made on a moderate budget of Rs. 45 crore. The Satellite rights of the film were sold for a massive Rs. 37 crore, Video rights for Rs. 7 crore and Music rights for Rs. 3 crore respectively. These figures clearly show that the film entered into profit zone without even selling its theatrical rights.
Coming to Tollywood, a Top Hero's film will be made on a budget of nearly Rs. 35-40 crores. While the Satellite rights fetch anywhere between Rs. 5-7 crore, the Music rights will be sold for Rs. 1-2 crore. These figures clearly show that nearly 80% of the production cost should be recovered through Satellite Rights and post release business in Tollywood.
Despite Mahesh Babu being the No.1 hero in Tollywood, the satellite rights of 'SVSC' were sold out for Rs 7 crore, which is also the highest amount paid for a Telugu film till date. On the other, Akshay Kumar is not a No.1 in Bollywood, but his films were making moolah. It's not Akshay's films alone, but all Top Heroes films in Bollywood fetch Rs. 30 to 40 crore through Satellite rights. The price of Satellite rights make a big difference in Tollywood & Bollywood. But still, Tollywood (3 films [Magadheera, Dookudu, Gabbar Singh] in Rs. 100 crore club(gross)) is giving a tough fight to Bollywood.

MaheshBabu fans @ Not happy with SVSC?

The trailer of Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, which was released recently, got a thunderous response. Starring Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh, SVSC is one of the much awaited movies of the season, and the audience got a good feel of the film after watching the teaser. Mahesh Babu, the happy man after consecutive blockbusters, looks to be very happy with the response yet again.
Mahesh Babu was quick to thank everyone on the great response of the trailer. The actor wrote, "Superb response for svsc teaser...Thankyou so much guys....waiting eagerly for the festive season :)" (sic). The superstar also took the opportunity to greet his father Krishna on his birthday. "Here's wishing my evergreen superstar father a very happy birthday :):)".
Though their star is very happy, fans are a bit disappointed with trailer. "Teaser promises a family treat but surprisingly there are no glimpses of Mahesh Babu's excellence in it. Director should have kept a punch dialogue as it will help build hype for the movie" fumed Veera, a Mahesh Babu fan. Fans should realize that it's just the first look teaser not a trailer.The first trailer is planned for August and the movie is slated to release in September. The movie is directed by Srikanth Addala and music is composed by Mickey J Meyer.

The teaser of the much-awaited film, 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu', is finally out and the note worthy point is that it lived up to the expectations. Initial reactions from the fans and film goers is very positive.
Ever since the project was announced, all eyes were on Victory Venkatesh and Superstar Mahesh Babu. How these two top stars will be shown in the film? Will they get the same amount of screen time? Can it satisfy the fans? For all these questions, the teaser of SVSC is the best answer. The bonding shared by both these stars was presented beautifully onscreen. 
Coming to the leading ladies, Samantha looked bubbly as usual. Anjali ('Journey' fame), who was paired opposite Venky, stealed the show. SVSC is a lifetime opportunity for this gorgeous beauty and she is making the most out of it.

May 31 has always been a day of joy for all the Super Star fans as their favorite hero Krishna will be celebrating his birthday. This year's birthday too is very special for Mahesh Babu fans as their favorite hero’s first look stills of 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' would be released. That's not all,  Mahesh Babu's new movie under Sukumar's direction will also resume the shoot on the same day. Reportedly, the schedule will commence from May 31 for 15 days in which the unit is planning to shoot  key scenes of the film on Mahesh Babu and Kajal. Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta are producing this movie tentatively titled 'Aagadhu' on 14 Reels banner. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music. Will Pawan Kalyan fulfill his wish?

Pawan Kalyan is back to form with Gabbar Singh and he has been ruling the box office with earth shattering collections all over. Gabbar Singh is declared as a huge blockbuster and the film has raked in an estimated worldwide share of Rs. 45 crore in two weeks. With this producers are trying their luck to do films with Pawan Kalyan although he has been doing films only to his close associates of late.
Dil Raju is one of the producers who have always been chasing Pawan Kalyan to make a film under his banner. Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu was supposed to be made with Pawan and Venkatesh, but later it was offered to Mahesh as the former didn't give a nod to Dil Raju. However, Dil Raju is still trying to please Pawan Kalyan in some or the other way.
There is a buzz that Dil Raju supervised the post production of Gabbar Singh. Raju is also seen in every success meet of Gabbar Singh. Despite distributing few big films in the recent past Raju never took so much personal interest in promoting others films. He was seen doing the same for Pawan's Annavaram too. After all his efforts, will power star fulfills his wish and do a film under his banner?

Prince Mahesh Babu who scored back to back hits with his recent ventures is currently busy with two projects. One is the multi-starrer 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu', the other would be directed by the psychological thinker Sukumar. And here is an interesting update about Suku's project.
Sources say Mahesh would be seen in a rather muscular physique in the film and for this, he has already imported one American trainer from US to have a special workout. It is heard that this trainer is an expert at building the physique without losing the facial flab.
As such, many who do regular pumping lose out on their cheeks and face shrinks a lot. But Mahesh has reportedly chosen this trainer because he is good at retaining the cheeks but giving a solid body. If all this is true then the prince is surely going to shock one and all with his new avatar.

Superstar Mahesh Babu announced that the first look of his multi-starrer film 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' with Victory Venkatesh will be released on May 31. This particular date has got a specific importance - It's Mahesh's father Superstar Krishna birthday. 
Speaking about his experience with Venky on the sets of SVSC, Mahesh stated that he thoroughly enjoyed working with a Legend like him. He is very confident about the success of the film and also opined that it will be another milestone in his career.
Sources close to the unit say, SVSC would be a trendsetter for multi-starrer films. Director Srikanth Addala ('Kotha Bangaru Lokam' fame) and Producer Dil Raju have worked on the script for several months to make this film an out and out family entertainer. Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh starrer Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is among the most awaited films of the year. For the first time in several years, two of the biggest stars in Telugu are teaming up for a film and ever since it was announced, a flurry of new multi-starrers have been announced. It’s been three months since the shooting of Seethama Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu began and already Mahesh Babu seems to have found enough reasons to believe that it’s going to be a milestone in his career. “Svsc 1st look will b out on 31st:) will be Nother milestone in my career..:) A big Thankyou to my director Srikanth addala, my producer dilraju ,and of course venkatesh garu….Thoroughly enjoying the experience of working with a legend like him…,” Mahesh Babu posted on Twitter. Srikanth Addala is directing the film and Dil Raju is producing it. The film also stars Prakash Raj, Samantha and Anjali in lead roles. Mickey J Meyer has composed the music. Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is expected to hit the screens for Dusshera later this year.

Dil Raju @ Struggling With Star Heros

The one touted as the 'midas' of Telugu Cinema Industry is slowly losing his golden touch it appears. Dil Raju is now finding it tough to handle the star heroes of Telugu Industry.
After scoring half a dozen flops before 'Brindavanam', Dil Raju resorted to working with star heroes again. However, all the stars he has chosen are struggling with flops before doing his movie. Say it Jr.NTR or Prabhas, it is the same case. After making a flop flick with Siddharth again, Dil Raju resorted to working with stars. Currently he is having Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun acting in his production ventures. However, Dil Raju is finding it difficult to handle the available tight dates of these heroes. Most of his directors are sculpting scenes for days, which are making it difficult for our star heroes to cope up with bulk dates.
Already, Mahesh gave him a warning that he cannot accommodate dates if 'Seethamma...' movie goes beyond schedule. Insiders are saying that same is the case with Ram Charan who is doing 'Yevadu' for him now. They say that Dil Raju should learn making movies in a short time rather running for huge timelines in the name of quality. Watch this space for more updates.

Mahesh Babu's @ Alarm Signal To Dil Raju

Mahesh Babu is in hurry. He is particular about seeing two to three films of him in a year. But so far only Businessman could happen and now Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is on floors. As the project is very big, it is taking more time than stipulated. Hence he kept a dead line for Dil Raju stating that he has to complete the shoot by August and release by Sep 29th. He also warned stating that he is not going to accommodate dates for SVSC after that as he wants to make himself busy with Sukumar’s film. So, if Dil Raju fails to use the dates given by Mahesh Babu at present, he may have to wait till year end of 2013 to release SVSC.
It is really a big task to handle the project that has two big heroes. On the other hand there is Prakash Raj in the film who is also problem with respect to allotting bulk dates.

Mahesh, Venkatesh’s multi starrer entertainer ‘Seethama Vakitilo Sirimalle Chettu‘ under Srikanth Addla is progressing briskly. According to sources the film’s shooting extravaganza started yesterday in RFC, where Prince Mahesh’s marriage with beautiful Samantha will be taking place in high profile sets costing a whopping 2crs. Venkatesh is starring as Prince’s brother, while Prakash Raj and Jayasudha will be seen as their parents.

Mahesh @ SVSC, Sukku's Movie and Then..

After the back to back successes of 'Dookudu' and 'Businessman', Prince Mahesh babu has not decreased his momentum and is doing the movies with full josh. We know that he is currently doing two movies simultaneously like 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' and director Sukumar's movie. 'SVSC' is being directed by Srikanth Addala while it is produced by  Dil Raju. Anjali is pairing up with Venkatesh  and  Samantha is doing opposite to Mahesh. This movie is expected to release on 28th September. On the other hand, director Sukumar's movie is also  progressing in a brisk pace. Kajal is pairing up with Mahesh  Babu in this movie. This movie  will be released for Pongal, 2013. 

As per the grapevine,it is known  that Mahesh  Babu has accepted to do a movie in the direction of Puri Jagannadh. This movie will be produced by Bandla Ganesh Babu.
