V V Vinayak’s voiceover in ‘Renigunta’

V V Vinayak has lent his voice for an upcoming film titled Renigunta. In the past, he had lent his voice to introduce Sonu Sood’s character in Kandireega and Shambo Shiva Shambo. Of late, several directors are roping in popular actors and directors to lend their voice. Recently, Sunil had lent his voice in Ravi Babu’s Nuvvila where he introduced the lead characters in the film and last year, Ravi Teja had lent his voice for Rajamouli’s Maryada Ramanna.

Talking about V V Vinayak’s contribution to Renigunta, Suresh Kondeti, who is producing the film, said, ““He first appeared on screen in Chiru’s Tagore and his dialogue rendition stood out in the film. Later he gave voiceovers for the movies Shambo Shiva Shambo and Kandireega and both of them were big hits. I am glad that he has agreed to lend his voice for my film.”

Renigunta was one of the surprise hits in Tamil in recent times and it’s being dubbed in Telugu with the same name. Panner Selvam is the director and it has Jonny and Sanusha in lead roles.

Trivikram trying to give profits before release

Trivikram has a terrific record of coming up with movies that have witty dialogues and memorable scenes. But he also has the dubious reputation of budget overruns and extensive production delays. The latest talk in Filmnagar is that Trivikram is trying his utmost to break all those stigmas with his next film which has Allu Arjun in the lead.Ileana is the heroine and Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music.

Allu Arjun and Trivikram have reportedly reduced their remuneration for the film to break the cycle of escalating production budgets. Trivikram is also reportedly going in with a bound script for this movie to save time and avoid production delays. The normal industry report is that Allu Arjun’s films have a business potential of about 34 Crores. So Trivikram is said to be hell bent on finishing this movie within 30 Crores to give his producer Danayya a table profit of 4 Crores before release.

We will have to wait and see if these objectives are achieved by the end of the film’s production, but for now, the intentions are noble and are worth appreciating. Good going Trivikram

Dasarath to direct Nagarjuna for second time

After bagging success with ‘Santosham’ in the year 2002, director Dasarath is now ready with an another family oriented storyline for Nagarjuna. It is said that Nagarjuna liked the concept of Dasarath so much that he immediately said ‘yes’ to sign for Dasarath’s movie. Nagarjuna is already having two more projects Rajanna and Dhamarukam in hand.

‘Santosham’ was their first movie together which bagged a marvelous response from audience and has won Nandi awards for Best Actor and Best Film Categories. It is believed that ‘Santosham’ was a comeback film for both Nagarjuna and Dasarath. This time too its going to be a super success as we all know that Dasarath is best in giving family oriented films and Nag fits very well for the script by Dasarath.

Prabhu Deva is mainly focussing on Bollywood

Choreographer turned director Prabhu Deva debuted as director with the super hit Telugu flick Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. He remade this film in Tamil and became successful there also. Subsequently he directed few more films in Tamil and Telugu before he moved on to Bollywood. 

The grand success of Wanted (Remake of Telugu blockbuster Pokiri) starring Salman Khan has earned him good recognition in Bollywood. Hence Prabhu Deva is now focusing mainly on directing the Hindi flicks only. Right now he is busy with Rowdy Rathod also a Telugu remake (Vikramarkudu) starring Akshay Kumar and after this project he is going to direct an action entertainer with Ajay Devgan as lead actor. However we are yet to know whether this is going to be the remake of any super hit film from the south or a fresh subject. If you are curious to know, just wait and see.
 

Nandini Reddy's next with Siddharth

Soon after the success of Ala Modalaindi, director Nandini Reddy was flooded with many offers but she waited for more than a year to get a star's dates. Buzz is that handsome hero Siddharth has given his nod to her. Bellamkonda Suresh produces this movie and it might go on to the sets from this year-end. 

Nandini Reddy won praise for the fresh narration of Ala Modalaindi. 
Siddharth's next release in Telugu is Dil Raju produced O My Friend. And he also signed a Tamil/Telugu bilingual and couple of Hindi/English projects.
 

Bhaskar-Bunny film from Jan. 12

Allu Arjun, who is currently on a sabbatical, will be directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar from January 2012.  The film will be produced by BVSN Prasad.

Bhaskar has been holding story discussions with Arjun for quite a few months.  They did not want to officially announce the film till they have arrived at a cogent idea.

It seems they have finally embarked on the idea.  Mr. Prasad, who is revelling in the commercial success of Oosaravelli, has been convinced that the story will make a terrific subject.

A touching love story aside, the film could be expected to have the hero's character curiously written.  Parugu and Orange saw the heroes with their own distinct approach to life and love.  Will Bhaskar repeat this feat or will he play safe?

Surender Reddy directing Salman Khan

Stylish director Surender Reddy has confirmed that he is all set to direct Salman Khan soon. The movie in question is the Hindi adaptation of Surender Reddy’s ‘Kick’. Raviteja starred in that movie and it went on to become quite a big success.

Salman Khan has agreed to do that film and so now we have two Telugu directors who will work with Salman Khan soon. We have Sreenu Vaitla with the Hindi version of ‘Dookudu’ and we have Surender Reddy with the Hindi version of ‘Kick’.

Salman Khan has been achieving unprecedented success of late with the Hindi versions of popular south films. Let us hope our Telugu directors strike it big with Salman Bhai.

Teja’s ‘Neeku Naaku Dash Dash’ shooting started!

Director Teja’s new film titled ‘Neeku Naaku Dash Dash’ film was launched on Yesterday (October 6th) on the auspicious day of Vijaya Dasami. The movie was launched at a private guest house near Miyapur. In this flick he is introducing the new faces as the lead pair and he is also selected the new comers to other lead roles in the film. He selected the actors in Talent Search Hunt conducted through media. The film is said to be a love story. Earlier Teja also introduced many actors to the Tollywood with his films like Chithram, Nuvvu Nenu and Jayam.

Neeku Naaku Dash Dash film will be produced by V Ananda Prasad of Bhavya Creations. Teja is also introducing a new music director to the Tollywood with this film. Teja is planning to complete the entire shooting of the film in a single schedule.
