Vijay @ 'Nanban' as 'Snehitudu' in Telugu!!

Vijay's Nanban is ready for its worldwide release tomorrow.
The film was dubbed into Telugu as Snehitudu with the same star cast which includes Srikanth, Jeeva, Ileana, Sathyaraj, Sathyan.
Shankar films usally does great buisness with the Telugu audience, his last film Enthiran starring Rajinikanth which was dubbed and titled as 'Robo' was a huge hit over there and now Shankar wants Nanban to make big there it seems.


Even though the Telugu audience are well known with the original version '3 Idiots', Shankar feels that Nanban will also make it well because of its own freshness and for the craziness of Ileana over there.
Also Nanban will carry English Subtitles with overseas release, and in France for the first time a Tamil film will have French subtitles.

Rajinikanth @ Kochadaiyaan starts from Pongal!!

It will be great news for fans of the Superstar. Sources confirms that Superstar Rajinikanth starring Kochadaiyaan will start rolling from Jan 14 that is on the day of Pongal.
The First Look poster of Kochadaiyaan will be released as the official announcement made. The film is directed by Soundarya Ashwin and the whole film will be monitored under the supervising of KS Ravikumar.


The film will have music score by AR Rahman and Editing by Anthony. Also Prithviraj and Sneha are said to play important roles in the film.
The film will be finished soon for a quick August release since it will shot entirely using Motion capture technology and in 3D format.

Dhanush's 3 @ to be released by Sun Pictures

Sun Pictures who seems to stay quiet for a long time with no release in hand will make their strong comeback says sources.
The recent issues with Sun Pictures has kept them to maintain a low profile, now it's heard that the team has grabbed Dhanush's '3' movie.
Sun Pictures who are well known for their attractive promotions has telecasted the audio launch of '3' movie recently.


But sources say that they will be releasing the film also in a grand manner. '3' is directed by Aishwarya R Dhanush with Shruti Hassan and Dhanush in the lead roles.
The film is expected for a February release.

Madhavan,Arya @ Vettai to open big!!

Trade pundits have expressed confidence that Lingusamy's Vettai will be the front-runner in this year's Pongal release.
To hit the screens on 14 January, the movie features Madhavan, Arya, Amala Paul and Sameera Reddy. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.


According to an exhibitor, ' Vetai is releasing in maximum screens and coupled with good promotional activities by UTV Pictures, Vettai should do good'.
Lingusamy is master of commercial cinema. Obviously there would be enough elements in it to entertain masses, they say. With a neat package of songs, dance, comedy and action, Vettai is the front-runner, they add.

Hansika @ is not confirmed for RamCharan’s film!

There were media reports about Hansika playing the second female lead in Ram Charan, Vinayak movie. But the official sources from Ram Charan condemned the news and said that none has been zeroed in yet for the said role.


Only Kajal Agarwal is roped in and signed a deal for this film. Vinayak and the producer have been looking for suitable girl to do the second heroine character as it is very important in the context of the story.
Hansika maybe in the probables list but is not yet confirmed. Let’s see if she gets lucky and bag this biggie as it would boost her Tollywood career big time.

Balakrishna is a very passionate person when it comes to mythological characters and films. He knows that making mythological films is a risky factor these days due to shooting up budgets and long schedules.
But still he has passion to redo his Narthanashala that was shelved 8 years ago. He started that with Soundarya but that was shelved followed by her death.


Now Balakrishna has seen Nayantara as the best choice for Droupadi’s role. But she is getting married to Parbhudeva and not willing to act again. Sources say that Balakrishna asked Nayantara to do one last film for him that was pending. He also conveyed her that he wouldn’t do Narthanashala at all, if she negates his request.
Now Nayanatara is in a fix. She cannot cut down Balakrishna due to her respect on him.
In fact, it was Balaiah who brought her great positive image by forcing makers to place her in Sri Rama Rajyam. At the same time she cannot disobey the promise he gave to Prabhaudeva. Shooting amidst a huge crowd is never an easy task! While shooting a song for their upcoming movie Teri Meri Kahaani (tentatively titled), thousands of people gathered to catch a glimpse of Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.
The shooting was taking place at Aurangabad Fort and about 40 thousand tourists were present on that day! Director Kunal Kohli himself confessed that it was difficult to get the crowd out of the frame! A couple of men in the crowd even tried to get inside the frame forcefully, but were handled by the security personnel!


Buzz is that the crowd was getting really unruly and some of them tried to come close to Priyanka Chopra. That is when Shahid Kapoor came to her rescue and made sure no one touched her and took her aside!
And after this incident, the rumor mill is generating gossips that Shahid Kapoor is still possessive about Priyanka Chopra; and that PC, too, is still inclined towards Shasha!
And while witnesses say there was a stampede-like situation at the shoot, Kunal Kohli said that though there was a huge crowd, the shooting staff had the support of the local policemen and their own personal security!

Right from the day one, Businessman unit has been saying that this film would be released in three languages. Even the audio of this film was launched in Tamil and Malayalam on the same stage and it was dubbed as the first time ever in the history.
However, when the film is approaching the release day, Puri Jagannadh told that Businessman Tamil version will release after fifteen days of Telugu release due to lack of theatres in Tamilnadu. But the latest news is that Businessman's Tamilnadu distribution and remake rights were bought by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green.


Gnanavel will be distributing Telugu version in Tamilnadu and if the film turns out to be a hit, he will remake it in Tamil with either Suriya or Karthi! So all the talk about Mahesh Babu's grand launch in Kollywood looks almost impossible at least for now. Fans have been dreaming that Businessman expands Mahesh's market in Tamilnadu, but as always the makers are not willing to do it for Mahesh. They are simply selling away the remake rights. But that dropped to less than half when it came to his uncle Balayya. Now at Jr NTR's residence no one is waiting to see him. The reason is the point of rarity.


During old days, people need to wait for a film to see NTR. Hence they used to feel like seeing God whenever they come across any film star.But by Balayya's days, TVs have come and channels emerged. So frequency of seeing him increased and hence people stopped waiting atresidences. And at present, due to numerous film functions and TV programs, the rarity of appearances of film actors has gone.
So, in the available limits, Jr NTR has chosen to maintain rarity at least by not appearing in twitter regularly.

Director gifts @ Amala Paul a flat ?

The news that Amala Paul, has found a real-life character to romance has been doing rounds in the industry.

Word on the street has it that the lucky guy is none other than Tamil film director, Vijay, also a popular ad film-maker.

Well we decided to lend a ear to the grapevine and did a bit of digging around and found that the director in question had actually looked around and bought Amala a swanky Rs 50 lakh flat in the suburbs of Chennai.

Now, why would he do a thing like that? Our guess is that there is no smoke without fire, and now we also know where some of his hard-earned cash from his films like Madarasipattinam and Deiva Thirumagal went!

Our research also led us to a reliable source close to the director that just had to tell us this: “Their friendship started on the sets of Tamil film Deiva Thirumagal but got serious over the last few months. They are now almost inseparable.” (“Almost inseparable” note the carefully chosen language of the industry source).

The source added, “Their intimacy has given him the freedom to influence her professional decisions.”

When we asked someone close to the actress about the expensive gifts and things, our source said, “The director can afford such luxury gifts since he pockets Rs 2 crore per film.” Amala was unavailable for comment.

Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Businessman directed by Puri Jagannath starring Kajal in female lead is going to release in a big way in Tamil Nadu. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green banner has bought the distribution rights of the film for entire Tamil Nadu. There is a buzz that he might have bought the Tamil remake rights of the film, but there’s no official confirmation about this. The film is already being dubbed in Tamil; however, if it’s remade in Tamil, Gnanavel Raja is likely to rope in one of his two cousins – Suriya or Karthi to reprise Mahesh Babu’s role in the film. The Telugu version is going to hit the screens on January 13 and the Tamil and Malayalam versions are expected to release at the end of the month.

Prince Mahesh Babu’s "Businessman" is all set to hit the theaters worldwide in a grand manner on Jnaury 13th, 2012. Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead role in the film. The film is directed by Puri Jaganndh and Venkat is the producer.Thaman has scored the music for this film.

Businessman is releasing after Mahesh’s Blockbuster Dookudu, which has created many records in Telugu Film industry. So audience have many expectations on this movie.

Normally top heroes takes minimum a year to complete the film, but Mahesh Babu has completed the entire shooting of the film with in 76 days.

For the first time Mahesh and Kajal are acting together in this film.

The combination of Puri Jagannadh and Mahesh Babu rises many expectations because earlier the duo delivered blockbuster film "Pokiri".

Businessman would be releasing in more than 100 theatres in Hyderabad on its first day.

Businessman will have benefit shows in 28 theatres on January 13.So the first day collections are going to be more.

Businessman releasing all over the world in a record number of theaters around 2000, which will be a record in Tollywood.

So we have to wait and see all these highlights will make the movie highlight or not!!!

'Businessman' @ Remake With Suriya?

‘Businessman’ Telugu distribution rights in Tamilnadu were sold to Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. The rights include distribution of Telugu version as well as remake of the film. Well, we may wonder what he will do with remake rights when the film is releasing in big way with dubbed version itself.

But no one knows if the Tamil version is releasing. It may happen only when it becomes a block buster super hit in Telugu.

Mahesh Babu has huge following in AP and hence it is sure that he brings openings and huge successive collections here. But what is the guarantee that he can do that in Tamilnadu? Hence the makers also thought lately that it would be a wise thing to sell remake rights and make considerably big money than merely depending on dubbing version. Hence it was sold to G Raja.

Gnanavel Raja is planning to cast either Surya or Karthi in Tamil remake it seems. So, these developments say that there may not be Tamil release of Businessman in big way. Even though it happens, it will be done in C grade level like Mahesh Babu’s previous films did in Tamilnadu.

When remake thing is ‘on’, Gnanavel Raja cannot let Tamil dubbed version see light in Tamilnadu, even if the film hits in Telugu.

And Malayalam need not be counted here, as that’s not a big business point for Businessman.

Mahesh Babu @ Hates To Become Chiranjeevi

There is big hue and cry that Mahesh Babu is being lured by Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy to campaign for Congress.

It is rumored that CM is also keeping in touch with Krishna Ghattamaneni in this regard. But Krishna and Vijayanirmala are pro-YSR Congress as known for all. Hence using YSR sentiment that is common for both KKR and Krishna family, it seems that things are moving in favor of Congress it seems.

Whereas Mahesh Babu is no way interested to accept this request at all. He is not ready to do the mistake what Chiru did. Well, some are luring that it’s just campaign but not joining into Congress. But Mahesh Babu feels that even Chiranjeevi campaigned for Ashini Dutt earlier who lost n elections.

But close friends of Mahesh Babu are giving him advice not to go towards political campaigning now. They are telling him two things-

• It is not true that a candidate or a party wins with the campaigning of a top film hero.
• It is not wise to bet on a losing horse

We have to see what decision Mahesh Babu takes finally.

Ravi Teja Imitating @ Vikram's 'Aparichithudu'

Ravi Teja is doing something similar to Aparichithudu this year. Yes, he is donning a role where there will be 5 shades. It is for the film 'Daruvu' that is set to be made in the direction of ‘Souryam’ fame Shiva. The film is releasing as summer special. While Vikram has shown 3 shades of split personality in Aparichithudu, Ravi Teja is getting ready to show 5. Tapsee is pairing with him.

While the assumption goes that it is based on split personality, sources say that it is just the comedy film where Ravi Teja will be changing his get up and behavior, knowingly, for his selfish needs.

We have to see how it goes on and either the ways, it seems to be a right proportion for Ravi Teja.
