The clock is ticking for the most awaited movie of the season 'Businessman' to hit the screens and already the mania has picked up. Here is a small insight.
Reports from major online ticket booking sites reveal that all shows of 'Businessman' have been sold out till Monday. This is an interesting trend, say market analysts.
Apparently, Sankranthi festival is the time when half the city goes empty as many leave for their hometowns. Despite that, the ticket counters are full. Get set for another weekend frenzy folks.

My time has come @ NTR

Sorry to say that, we are not referring to the Young Tiger. NTR here is Nandamuri Taraka Ratna, who is yet to make a mark of his own in the Film Industry. Taraka Ratna is the only hero in the Industry, who failed to score atleast a single hit, despite the backing of huge fan base (Nandamuri).
The young actor admits that the flaws in him had ruined his chances to make it big in the Industry. However, Taraka Ratna claims that he is a better actor now and is eager to prove his mettle.


"There were many flaws I can find in me and I'm not mature enough then. Those were probably the two reasons for the dismal performance of my films at the Box Office. But that's past. Now, I'm a confident actor. Everyone has their time and My time has finally come with Nandeeswarudu," said Tarakaratna.
The film Nandeeswarudu is slated for release on January 14, as a Sankranthi treat. Sankranthi is often considered the hottest season for the Tollywood folks. Nandamuri Heroes delivered some of the record breaking hits during this season. Sadly, none of the star heroes of Nandamuri clan were in the race this time. Seems like Taraka Ratna is trying to fill the gap. It may come as a sweet surprise for Nandamuri fans, if Taraka Ratna scores a hit with Nandeeswarudu. Hope so!!!

While many people took the angle that he is promoting the movie, his fans are sounding reverse. Tsunami means disaster and it is really unknown whether Ramu is indirectly saying the same about BUSINESSMAN or he is just promoting it.

The bonding between young tiger Junior NTR and director V V Vinayak is known to all. Their combo has also generated some decent share of hits.From quite some time, both of them were reportedly planning to team up for the magnum opus 'Dana Veera Soora Karna' and here is the latest update.


It is heard that both of them discussed on this recently and NTR reportedly asked Vinayak to drop the project. The key cause for that happens to be the flop of 'Sri Rama Rajyam'. This has cautioned the duo and they are reportedly feeling that the budget risk is going to be enormous.
However, there are those who say 'Sri Rama Rajyam' suffered due to lack of action and commercial elements. But if one looks at 'DVSK', the elements for entertainment are very high. For now, it looks like the project has gone into the cold storage and it might require few rounds of confidence for it to come back to life.

Mahesh Babu @ Reveals Political Plans!!

A strong grapevine has been making rounds lately that Mahesh Babu has been drawing a sketch to pursue a career in politics. Recently, Mahesh was responding to this when he was speaking to the media. He quashed this as a baseless rumour and reiterated that he was not cut out for politics.


Incidentally, Mahesh’s father Superstar Krishna was once an MP from the Eluru constituency. On the other hand, colleagues of Mahesh such as Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are already digging their feet into politics. Reacting to that, Mahesh reportedly mentioned that it is not fair to comment on others.
The prince maintained that acting is his first and last passion and admitted he doesn’t know ABC of politics. Here is the final touch, Mahesh reportedly stated that taking him into politics would be the biggest disaster for anyone like taking his four year old son.

Prince and Superstar Mahesh Babu has already created a new record in terms of release of his upcoming movie Businessman. The movie is releasing in 92 theatres, apart from screening 33 shows in Prasads Multiplex on the release day in Hyderabad – a new record. Previously Jr. NTR’s Oosaravelli was screened in about 70 odd theaters in Hyderabad while Pawan Kalyan's Teen maar was screened in 30 shows in a day in Prasad i max but now Mahesh Babu’s Businessman has erased both these records.
Undoubtedly, credit goes to R R Movie Distributors for this massive release of Businessman. Particularly, with the movie releasing during the festive time, the makers do not want to leave any stone unturned. What’s more, Businessman film is coming right after blockbuster Dookudu and R R Movie Makers want to cash in on the Mahesh Babu’s craze. The situation is pretty much the same in Vijaywada. Businessman @ Following Dookudu Strategy!!!

One of the reasons behind ‘Dookudu’ collecting the highest ever shares in Overseas is the piracy control. As they had great control on the online piracy, the NRIs had no other option except going to theaters to watch the film. The advantage of Dollar to Rupee conversion gets maximum profits for the producers.


It seems the makers of ‘Businessman’ are going to follow the same technique to get maximum profits in Overseas. Already a press note has been released to warn the websites that encourage piracy. ‘Businessman’ is releasing in nearly 100 theaters in US and the makers are expecting 15% to 20% of total share from US itself. If the movie gets positive talk and the piracy gets controlled successfully then the movie can surely collect the expected amount genuinely. Let us wait and see what happens.

The war of words between senior actors Nandamuri Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi appears to be hotting up with the involvement of their respective fans associations.
Reacting sharply to Chiranjeevi’s comment that Balakrishna was childish and that he would not give much importance to the latter’s words which had no depth in politics, the fans of Balakrishna raised a loud protest in Kurnool on Wednesday. They burnt the effigy of Chiranjeevi and demanded an apology form him.


“Unlike Chiranjeevi who came into politics to make money, Balakrishna is making the political entry with a genuine intention of serving the people. He is not like the megastar who had sold party tickets for crores of rupees. He has no moral right to talk about Balaiah,” the fans association leaders said.

Harish Shankar @ Directs Jr. NTR

Looks like young tiger Jr. NTR is on a signing spree as the actor has just principally agreed for another film to be directed by Harish Shankar. NTR, who is currently shooting for Dammu, would start Seenu Vaitla’s film immediately and later, if things work out, would proceed to Harish Shankar’s film. Apparently, Harish has narrated a script to Jr. NTR who liked it. And Harish would develop a detailed script after he completes shooting for Gabbar Singh. Victory Venky’s dream project from September

Victory Venkatesh has been eyeing a particular project for a while now. He has been wanting to work in ‘Swamy Vivekananda’ , a project which is very close to his heart. Things are falling into place and the film will begin production from September of this year.
 

Manishankar is going to direct this movie and Venkatesh is extremely excited about the subject. “Each and every frame of the movie will be a delight to watch. Dialogues are excellent and will have a profound impact on the people.”, said a very excited Venkatesh.

Dammu Teaser in @ Businessman Theaters

According to the latest reports, Jr. NTR’s Dammu teaser trailer will be hitting the silver screens in Businessman theatres. For better reach and coverage, the makers of Dammu are planning to launch Dammu teaser trailer in all the Mahesh Babu starrer Business Man theaters on Janurary 13 it seems.  Since Business Man release is having wide reach, Dammu makers are trying to cash in on the wide reach and neetr oush the product. Although Bopayati Seenu has not announced anything officially, the negotiations are currently on with the BusinessMan exhibitors. Mind you, Dammu official trailer is yet to be released in TV or Internet.

 

NTR @ Action will be Another Dookudu?

Tollywood ace writers Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan are back again and this time working NTR and Seenu Vaitla movie ‘Action’. The last time this writer duo worked for is Mahesh Babu’s starrer ‘Dookudu’.  Kona Venkat said, “Myself and my friend Gopi mohan are giving the story for Sreenu Vaitla- NTR film which will be called ACTION- with entertainment. We have decided to repeat the success of Dookudu with Sreenu Vaitla-NTR film being produced by my close friend Ganesh Babu.”
 

Kona Venkat penned dialogues for several Telugu movies like Samba, Venky, Shivamani 9848022338, Balu ABCDEFG, Andarivadu, Bhagheeradha, Don Seenu, Adhurs, King, Dookudu, etc. On the other hand, Gopi Mohan, one of the successful screenplay and story writers in Telugu movies, worked for Santosham, Venky, Dhee, Ready, Namo Venkatesa, Dubai Seenu, Lakshyam and Swagatam, King, Dookudu, etc.  Now that’s experience for you!

Young tiger Jr. NTR is currently shooting for ‘Dammu’, directed by Boyapati Seenu. Now here’s an interesting byte! To unleash his acting prowess, Jr. NTR has been reportedly directing few action sequences in Dammu movie. The young tiger is advising Boyapati Seenu to use different camera angles to capture the scenes effectively. And that’s not all; NTR was also advising the action choreographers to compose fights in a new dimension to reach the fans expectations. Tall hunk “Daggubati Rana” is all set to rock this year. His two latest films “Department” and “Naa Istam” are all set to release for summer. His next movie “Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum” under the direction of critical acclaimed director Krish will commence its shooting from mid of Jan.

Regarding his upcoming projects recently Rana posted a message in twitter that this year is looking solid for him with Department and Naa Istam which are nearer to complete the shooting portions and release soon. He also added that he is very much exited with the new project Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum that is to begin in mid of January

After the flop of “Nenu Naa Rakshasi” film under the direction of Puri Jagannath, Rana is eagerly waiting for a big hit in Tollywood as well as Bollywood. His two projects Naa Istam (Telugu) and Department (Hindi) are going to complete and will hit the screens in summer.

Along with these, Rana has also signed a Tamil Movie named “Vada Chennai”. The shooting of this particular movie of the actor will starts soon after the completion of Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum movie. So, finally Rana Daggubati is going to rock in this year 2012.

Pawan's Power is not enough for @ Gabbar Singh

Pawan Kalyan fans used to proudly say that their hero's films doesn't need star directors and star heroines to attract the audience. However, with a series of disasters Pawan Kalyan is no longer the super power at box office. Even his films need the ammunition to pull crowds to the theaters.

After having a bitter experience with Teenmaar movie, which didn't do well at the box office due to lack of proper padding artists and sizzling glamour, producer Ganesh Babu is not taking a chance for Gabbar Singh. He is trying to spice up this film as much as he can. He is ready to shed few crores in the process.

If the reports are to be believed he approached Katrina Kaif for an item song with an offer to which she can't say no. He is ready to shell out two crores to have her in Gabbar Singh. However, Katrina is very busy in Bollywood now and it would be a daunting task for her to reschedule her call sheets for Gabbar. 2 crores is big money and she should be left tempted to take up the offer. Let's wait for official update on this.

That is the reason why he is trying to make 'Dammu' a perfect mass-oriented and youthful entertainer. Sources also say that after Mahesh Babu, his target hero is Pawan Kalyan. Let us hope 'Dammu' brings him his choice of offers.
