Sonam Kapoor is said to share screen space with national award winner Dhanush in his latest flick Raanjhnaa.
The hot damsel Sonam Kapoor is earlier associated with many biggies in Tamil industry, finally all remained gossips. Now latest we hear is the hot diva was approached to pair opposite Dhanush for Anand L Roy directorial. “But Sonam has not confirmed yet, as she is busy with two movies that are going to hit floors soon,” says her PR.
Raanjhnaa will showcase Dhanush as a Hindi speaking Brahmin boy, Kundan from Banaras. However, the official announcement is expected soon, about the cast and crew details. The actor is presently waiting to screen his wife Aishwarya’s debutant directorial 3 with Shruthi Hassan as his love interest.
After 3 with Shruti Haasan, Dhanush is all set to act in Tanu Weds Manu director Aanand L Rai’s Raanjhana.
The film will have Dhanush playing a character called Kundan and is partially set in Benaras. Meawhile the buzz is that Sonam Kapoor is all set to play Dhanush's ladylove in the film.
She has been offered this film opposite Dhanush,' says a source.
Meanwhile it is confirmed that Dhanush's 3 will hit the screens on 30 March. With Kolaveri Di making it big, expectations are high on the film.

Suriya, who is busy with K.V.Anand’s Maatraan, has recently confirmed his next project, which is a 3D film directed by Venkat Prabhu. The director is keen to have Sonam Kapoor in the female lead.
Venkat Prabhu, after Ajith’s Mankatha was success signed his next film with Suriya in the lead. An insider says, “Director is eager to rope in Sonam Kapoor for the female lead, as she suits the role better.” He further added, “Prabhu likes, her girl to next door looks and her action as well, any ways he has to discuss about it with Suriya.”
K.E.Gnanavelraja is producing Suriya and Venkat Prabhu’s 3D flick under his Studio Green banner. This untitled film has cinematography by Sakthi Saravanan and music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

However, Sonam says she has always played the lead role in her several multi-starrer movies.
The 26-year old actor reveals, ‘The story of film, ‘Thank You’ revolved around me and Akshay. Even in ‘Aisha’, I played the lead role. In ‘Delhi 6’, too Abhishek and I played the lead roles and now in ‘Players’ also we both will be playing the lead. But at same time one should not forget that even the other supporting actors plays a crucial role in the film who helps to make the film a better product’.
Sonam is happy after winning several accolades for sexier look she donned in the upcoming movie, ‘Players’. The multi-starrer film is scheduled to release by 6 January.
