It has been quite a while since the talk was on about megastar Chiranjeevi and his 150th film. After having gotten into politics, the possibilities of him doing that film was almost sealed. But in between again, grapevine began to make rounds about Puri Jagannadh being chosen and V V Vinayak being kept on hold.
But again there was a brief lull and all of them almost forgot it. However, it appears that the issue is very much alive. Recently, Chiru was sharing his thoughts when he reportedly mentioned that his 150th film is very much on the pipeline and will be made. This has brought a major cheer to Chiru fans.
So far, the megastar has not achieved anything significant in his political career so the mega fans are hoping that atleast by doing the 150th film, he can regain his lost glory and send a message that Tollywood's emperor is still the megastar only. Let us see how this goes.

Businessman makers had unveiled the first three day collections report and it is the highest ever in Tollywood history. Businessman released in 2000 theaters worldwide which is helping in garnering mind-blowing collections across all centers.
The latest collections report revealed by the makers in a press meet says Businessman has collected a whopping Rs. 38.17 crores gross in first three days with a total share of 27.35 Crores, which is an all time record for 3 days as well for 1st week collections in 81 years of Telugu film industry.

This might sound unusual but then it is happening. Reports of incidents are coming in and here is an insight. It is heard that many Families are going to INOX for watching ‘Businessman’ doing advance booking. Since the film is ‘A’ certificate, the theatre folks are reportedly mentioning that no tickets should be issued for kids.
The families are saying “How can we go back? We have tickets. Do one thing, give us one ticket to ‘Bodyguard’. We will go to ‘Businessman’ and our kid will go to ‘Bodyguard’.” The real comedy is happening once the ticket is bought. All are going to ‘Businessman’ dumping the single ticket they have.
Apparently, in other multiplexes like PVR, Prasads, checking at the gate is done but in INOX it is not there. Once the tickets are shown at entrance, anyone can get inside the theatres. That way, families are going for ‘Businessman’. But due to this rule, it is working indirectly for ‘Bodyguard’.
However, there are those who say what is the reason for implementing this law so strictly? Few parents are scolding the theatre folks and saying “Our kids our wish, we will take them to any film, if they get spoiled it is our responsibility”.
At the end of the day, ‘Bodyguard’ is going full but inside, the seats are empty. This goes to show that the first preference of audience is ‘Businessman’ and they are doing whatever they can to watch it.
Mega powerstar Ram Charan Tej who is currently busy with the final shaping of his film 'Racha' has increased the speed. While his next lineup of projects is confirmed, one project has caught the attention of many. This is Charan's Bollywood venture which is gearing up to hit the floors.
Sources say Charan is making his debut in Bollywood through the remake of the yesteryears hit 'Zanjeer' which was the turning point in Amitabh Bachchan's career. With this, many are asking the big question- can Ram Charan match with Amitabh? Obviously, comparisons are bound to rise with the remake hence this talk.
The cine folks say "This is a big challenge for Ram Charan but the fact that he is a newface in Bollywood works for him. The expectations would be low. One of the biggest challenges for any producer while dealing with big heroes is to cough up the remuneration. In Bollywood, the situation is easy since the market width is large so total revenue manages to make the compensation. But here is something about Mahesh Babu and his deals in Tollywood.
It is heard that from Businessman, Mahesh’s remuneration stands at Rs 8 crores per film and 30% share in the final profit. On the other hand, it is heard that Puri’s remuneration is Rs 3 crores and he gets 15% share of the final profit. At this rate, even if ‘Businessman’ makes Rs 40 crores share in the end, the stats can be understood.
The trade pundits say ‘Businessman’ is sure to make more than the nominal Rs 40 crores figure. So, the prediction is that Mahesh is standing next to none other than superstar Rajinikanth in terms of remunerations. What remains to be seen is how will Mahesh change his scales once he makes his debut in Bollywood.

Hourglass beauty Ileana has conquered Tollywood without involving in any spicy acts and without any extreme skin show. She hasn't done a single lip lock scene in her six years career in Tollywood. But if the situation demands, Ileana is willing to lock lips with her co star.
Ileana has done a direct lip lock scene (no camera tricks) in Nanban (Tamil remake of 3 idiots) movie, which is doing so well at the box office at the moment. Remember final encounter of Aamir and Kareena in the original? Ileana locked lips with Vijay for that scene.
Ileana has high respect for Shankar and when he told that a lip lock is vital in that scene, she didn't hesitate to share a passionate kiss with Vijay. Ileana was paid one and a half crore for this film. She was signed for both Telugu and Tamil versions, but Telugu remake was dropped later. Now Nanban is being dubbed in Telugu as Snehithudu.
News are doing rounds that director Vishnuvardhan has managed to rope in Ajith and Arya for his next film to be produced by A M Rathnam.
Ajith had worked with Vishnuvardhan in Billa before and Arya had teamed up with Vishnu for his first film 'Arindhum Ariyamalum'.
This untitled movie is supposedly an action-packed entertainer says sources.
Interestingly multi-starrers seems to be the order of theday. The likes of Mankatha, Vaanam and the recent Nanban are few examples.

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has emerged as the Box Office king of Andhra Pradesh as his latest ‘Businessman’ has outshined Venkatesh’s ‘Bodyguard’ by a huge margin.
The two films that hit the screens this Sankranti were released worldwide. Mahesh Babu’s flick collected over Rs 18,73,54,00 on day one while his senior colleague’s film could only earn Rs 6.5 crore.
The young actor’s film is certainly raking in the moolah making him the undisputable ruler at the Box Office.
Babu took to the Twitter to express his excitement and wrote, “Thankyou 4 making businessman another sensational hit of my career:) the whole experience has been overwhelming.. my eyes turn moist with every compliment received .. never felt this way b4:)(sic)”.
This is Babu and director Puri Jagannath’s second venture after ‘Pokiri’ that made fantabulous business.

There's a lot of positive buzz going around Gabbar Singh, which would please the fans of Powerstar. Everyone have been raving about one man since the start of the shooting. And the man in focus happens to be one and only Pawan Kalyan. The unit members were awestruck by his energy, style and passion for cinema even after 15 long years in the Industry.

Young Hero Ram Charan, who was projected as the successor to Chiranjeevi in Film Industry, is irritating the hardcore fans of the Mega family with his moves.
Though Charan has fulfilled the thirst of his fans to some extent with the magnum opus 'Magadheera', his third film 'Orange' has bitten the dust. Sadly, even after nearly 14 months of Orange release (November 26, 2010), there is no official confirmation about the release date of his upcoming film 'Racha'. And the most annoying thing is the stuff Charan has been posting on his twitter page.
