Despite the marketing strategies and excessive promotions, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer film ‘Agent Vinod’ has opened up with a lukewarm response at Box-office. The spy action thriller has much style with no substance in it. The critics have given the film mixed reviews, while audience’s expectations have already collapsed from the film that hit the theatres yesterday.
The film made with relatively high budget created a buzz when the first theatrical promo of the film was released as it drew comparisons among the movie and Hollywood film actor Daniel Craig’s James Bond series.
The film was even addressed as Desi bond version, in spite of Saif making numerous attempts to dismiss it. Even Saif-Bebo’s chemistry could not help the movie to flourish well.

Tamil Nadu government has taken initiative and screened Nanban to make prisoners feel relief in Jail.

A hilaruous spoof on Ram Charan's OA is on its way. And the person who is behind this creative work is none other than 'Bommarillu' Bhaskar, the director of Charan's disastrous flick 'Orange'.
It may be recalled Bhaskar was made a scapegoat for 'Orange' collective failure. Though both Charan and Naga Babu backed Bhaskar during the filming of the movie and took collective decisions about the production, but they put the whole blame for the cost failure of the film on the director after the not-so-impressive response at the Box Office. These developments had caused Bhaskar severe mental trauma and it took him so long to recover from that situation.
After over 1.5 years of gap, Bhaskar is all set to wear Director's hat again and energetic hero Ram was roped in to play the lead role.The director has included a spoof episode in this romantic entertainer, which has shades of MS Narayana's Salman Raj (Dubai Seenu). No need to mention the fact that this will surely irritate his fans and entertain his rival groups. Let's hope this will be done in a lighter vein and at the same time without hurting the sentiments of anyone!
Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh is heading towards the final stages of shooting. The film will be complete by the first half of April and will be ready for release by second week of May. This film is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg. The USP of the original film was Munni song performed by Malaika Arora, which brought her immense craze as an item girl.
So when Pawan Kalyan announced the Telugu remake of Dabangg, everyone started to speculate about Telugu version Munni. Producer Ganesh Babu tried his best to rope in the best option and was even ready to shell out big bucks on the item girl. But finally, the unit of Gabbar Singh felt that no one can do better than the original Munni and have reportedly roped in Malaika Arora for this song.
Buzz says that Devi Sri Prasad came up with a brand new tune in the place of Munni song, which is superb and on par with Devi's popular item songs like Ringa Ringa and Akalesthe annam pedatha. Sexy legged Malaika was earlier seen as item girl in Mahesh Babu's Atidhi, which failed to launch her successfully in Tollywood. She would be hoping to recreate Dabangg magic with Gabbar Singh.
So what would be the craze for a film that stars mega power star and young tiger? Perhaps it could do an unbelievable business during the movie launch itself. Apparently, Ram Charan Teja, while addressing a press conference on his birthday’s eve, was asked a question whether he would share screen space with Jr. NTR for a multi-starrer film. In comes the response “Why Not? If we can get a good script that suits both of us, then I shall definitely do the film”, said Ram Charan Teja. But before that one of the reporters asked Ram Charan about his rapport with Tarak, and Charan replied “We are good friends and work in the same industry and we always share great rapport”.
Tollywood box office is going to witness the biggest fight of the season this May as two most anticipated films are gearing up for release during same time. Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh is slated for release on May 9th and Rajamouli's Eega is expected to release on May 11. If both these films release as per the schedule, we will witness the clash of titans.
Eega was supposed to release in April, but was delayed by few weeks due to the delay in post production work. Rajamouli is releasing the audio of Eega on 30th of this month in an innovative style. Rajamouli is undoubtedly the superstar director who weighs equal to any superstar out there. Audience doesn't mind whoever the hero is until it is directed by Rajamouli.
Eega being Rajamouli's dream project and being made at a staggering price, it is surely going to give tough times to other biggies that lock horns with it. On the other hand Gabbar Singh is looking red hot and seems like it is the film that Pawan fans have been waiting for. It would be good for both the films if they maintain a fair distance as it won't be profitable for both the movies to release at the same time.
