Doom 3 @ 2 days Box Office Collections

Aamir Khan-starrer big-budget action thriller "Dhoom 3" has collected Rs.69.58 crore -- which includes earnings from Tamil and Telugu versions -- in two days of its release, an official statement here said. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the third instalment of Yash Raj Films' popular "Dhoom" franchise came out Friday and opened to mixed reviews. But it seems the box office collection is satisfactory.

On Friday, the well-packaged enrapturing drama clinched a total of Rs.36.22 crore at the box office, while on Saturday the earnings were recorded to be Rs.33.36 crore. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra, who have been constant in the cast since "Dhoom", reprised their roles of cop and sidekick, respectively. Katrina Kaif added glamour to the film that boasts beautifully designed sequences.

Rowdy Rathore @ Rs 48.5 cr at Box Office

Prabhu Deva's latest Bollywood movie Rowdy Rathore, which stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the leads, has received a fabulous response at the Box Office in India in the first three days. The action thriller film has raked in Rs 48.5 crores nett at the collection centres across the country.
Rowdy Rathore received an overwhelming response at the Box Office on the first day. It registered 95% to 100% occupancy in single screens and 55% to 70% occupancy in multiplexes across the country. The action thriller movie raked in Rs 15.10 crores nett on Friday. 
The business of the movie Rowdy Rathore went a little down on the second day with its collection reaching Rs 14.70 crores nett. But its collection went up by 15% to 20% on Sunday. The film added Rs 18.50 crores to its three days' total collection Rs 48.5 crores nett. With this, it has become the biggest non-holiday weekend.
However, Rowdy Rathore is a remake of Blockbuster Telugu movie Vikramarkudu. The film had a massive promotional activities. In addition, it received positive reviews from film critics. Action King Akshay Kumar himself has been left to wonder by the huge public response for the movie especially in South India.

Rowdy Rathore @ Rs.29.8 Cr in 2 days

It seems that viewers are liking Akshay Kumar in his action hero avatar in "Rowdy Rathore", which earned Rs.29.8 crore on the first two days. "Rowdy Rathore" is Akshay's widest release so far on 2,800 screens in the country, said a statement. Made on a budget of Rs.45 crore, the film released Friday and grossed Rs.15.10 crore on the opening day. Directed by Prabhu Deva and co-produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala, the film marked Akshay's return to a full-fledged action role after seven years. Apart from entertaining audiences with raw action, Akshay is seen romancing Sonakshi Sinha in the film.

Agent Vinod @ First Day BoxOffice Collcetions!!

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Agent Vinod’ had a decent opening day at the box office. The film is did very good business in Mumbai and South. Due to holidays in some states helped the film to do a decent business.
‘Agent Vinod’ has collected Rs. 9.50 crore nett in its first day (Friday). The good collection of the film at high end multiplexes, but in some places like UP, Bihar and Rajasthan single screen had low collections.

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu @ 1st Week Collections Rs 42.17 Cr

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, which features Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the leads, has concluded the first week with a decent amount of collection. The Karan Johar produced movie has raked in approximately Rs 42.17 crores nett at the world wide Box Office in the opening week.
The Bollywood movie had collected Rs 21.25 crores at the domestic Box Office in the first weekend. Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu has added another Rs 11.50 crores nett to its total collection Rs 32.75 crores nett. The break of the figures is Rs 5.25 cr on Friday, Rs 7.5 cr on Saturday, Rs 8.5 cr on Sunday, Rs 2.75 cr on Monday, Rs 4.75 cr on Tuesday, Rs 2.1 cr on Wednesday, Rs 1.9 cr on Thursday.
Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu also had a decent opening at the international Box Office. The movie has grossed approximately Rs 9.42 crores nett in the collection centres in five foreign counties. It has collected Rs 5 crores from 111 screens in USA, Rs 3.31 crores from 53 screens in UK, Rs 81.21 lacs from 15 screens in Australia, Rs 21.30 lacs from five screens in New Zealand and Rs 8.73 lacs from two screens in Fiji.
The makers of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu are very happy with its performance at the Box Office. However, the movie, which had everything going its way, was expected to cross 50 crore mark at the worldwide Box Office.

Agneepath @ Grosses Rs.133.06 crs at Worldwide BoxOffice!!!

Bollywood movie Agneepath has continued to rock at the international Box Office in the second weekend too. Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra starrer has maintained its pace at the collection centres in the USA, UK, UAE, Australia and New Zealand and added a handsome amount to its total Rs 27 crores net ($ 5.5 million).
Agneepath, which was released in 132 screens in the America, has continued to do a fare business in the country. The film has added $3,40,112 to its total collection $17,50,843 (Rs 8.57 crores) at the USA Box Office in the second weekend. The movie has grossed £90,294 from 45 screens in UK and £5,95,862 (Rs 4.61 crores) is its total earning at the UK Box Office after the second weekend.
Karan Johar-produced action thriller has collected A$64,743 from 14 screens and A$4,20,243 (Rs 2.19 crores) is its total earning at Australia Box Office after second weekend. Agneepath has grossed NZ$17,186 from 7 screens in New Zealand collection centres. After second weekend, its total collection is NZ$89,667 (Rs. 36.28 lacs).
Agneepath has done wonders at the Indian Box Office. The movie has collected Rs 106.3 crore net in the second weekend. Agneepath Crosses @ 100Cr mark at Indian BoxOffice!!

Bollywood movie Agneepath, which received a grand opening on the first day, has finally crossed Rs 100 crore mark at the Indian Box Office in the second weekend. The film is the first one to cross this deadline in 2012. Meanwhile, it has beaten this week's new release Gali Gali Chor Hai at the collection centres.
Agneepath set a record on the first day of its release by collecting Rs 23 crore, but its business dropped in the following days. The action thriller concluded the first week with Rs 91.05 crore net at the Box Office. The movie added another Rs 15.25 crore net to its grand total Rs 106.3 crore net in the second weekend.

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu @ First Day Collections!!

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu Draws Extreme Response from audience where it has done well in multiplexes but failed to take off in single screens. The day started slowly but collections improved and it is about to finish day 1 with expected collections of 6 cr net or a bit lower.
Film faced stiff competition in single screens from Dharma Production’s earlier release ‘Agneepath” at few places. Film did very badly in CI and CP where film fetched as low as 700-800 INR collections in smaller cities in few theaters. Though reports are encouraging from High end multiplexes and metros and it may show more than usual jump there in weekend.
No wall depends on weekends and bigger centers to take this film beyond 20 cr plus collections. Surprisingly film may end up lower collections than “Mere BROTHER Ki Dulhan” and ‘Delhi Belly”, last two releases of Imran Khan.

Agneepath @ Joins the 100 Crore Club!!!

The movie ‘Agneepath’, starring Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor’, seems intent on making new records at the box office.
The movie already broke ‘Bodyguard’s’ record by becoming the highest grosser on the opening day.
Now the movie has entered the elite club of 100 crore movies in just 9 days from its release. But still the movie ‘Bodyguard’ holds the record for hitting the mark fastest as it collected 100 Crore in just 7 days.
This is the first time that a movie starring either Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra or Sanjay Dutt has reached the 100 crore mark.
The 100 crore club was opened by Aamir Khan starrer ‘Ghajini’ in 2008. It was followed by Aamir Khan’s ’3 Idiots’, which achieved the feat in 9 days.
In 2010 it was only two films 'Dabangg' (10 days) and 'Golmaal 3' (14 days) which reached the magical number.
But the year 2011 has been good for Bollywood as 'Ready' (15 days), 'Singham' (7 weeks), 'Bodyguard' (7 days), 'Ra One' (10 days) and 'Don 2' (15 days) all have managed to join the elite club.
‘Agneepath’ is the first movie in 2012 to achieve this amount of success.
