Collections are Publicity Gimmicks @ Dookudu Producers
The Telugu version of Magadheera has collected around Rs 100 crores gross at the Box Office. However, 'Dookudu' which was expected to beat it going by the initial collections announced by it's producers, failed to do so. Though the makers still claim Dookudu is No 1 through the publicity in media, the truth came out when the Tax Officials came before them.
Immediately after the completion of first week, the producers of 'Dookudu' has announced a woofing Rs 50 crores gross. To have an edge over Dookudu, 'Oosaravelli' producers have announced a staggering Rs 56 crores as it's first week collections. However, the industry seniors were not apprehensive in saying that these collections are fake. "Most all these collections are fake. It's a ploy by the makers to lure audience to the theaters," said Thammareddy Bharadwaj.
Twist in the Tale: When the commercial tax officials questioned the producers about the tax they need to pay when they claim their films collected humongous amounts. The reaction from the producers is, "It's for the publicity".
Well, it lookslike the makers of Dookudu were determined to make their film a Industry hit - if not with the Box Office collections, atleast with the fake collections. What can Mahesh do other than blindly trusting his producers and dreaming that he has achieved a milestone in his career? Let's hope he teams up with some honest producers in future!!!
Charan's Orange Girl In Love With Yuvi?
She is none other than Shahzahn Padamsee, the girl who was seen alongside Ramcharan in ‘Orange’. Buzz is that both Yuvi and Shahzahn have been spotted across many happening joints but they are taking care of arriving and leaving separately. There is also a talk that Yuvi has gone ahead and bagged a plump ad deal for Shahzahn shouldering away Soha Ali Khan. If that be true, there seems to be an interesting match on between this ‘Orange’ girl and the Red-blooded batsman.
Prince @ Making Big Money Through Ads!
One does not exactly know how much Superstar Mahesh Babu has earned through his films, as he hardly did a movie or two in a year till now.May he will earn more now because he has decided to do more films a year hereafter.But according to grapevine, the Prince is making big money through endorsements for various commercials and FMCG products than doing films.
According to an estimate, his income could be anywhere around Rs 25 cr per year.Sources said Mahesh Babu is being flooded with endorsement offers. He has acted in advertisements for Idea Cellular, pain relief balm Amrutanjan, apparel brand Provogue, jewellery retailer Jos Allukas, ITC Vivel and mobile retailer Univercel.He commands around Rs 2.5 crore to Rs 4 crore per brand endorsement, which is almost equal to the remuneration charged by most of the popular Bollywood stars.Good going, Prince!
Oh! My Friend @ Premiere Shows talk
The reports from these shows are mixed. Some are giving stupendous feedback for the content and few are complaining about the dragging, too much melodramatic pre climax and climax portions. Even first half of the film got mixed reactions. They said it is average to good. People say that is has too many shades of 'hero-heroine-friendship' films like Iddaru Mitrulu, Vasantham and Jaane Tu Ya jaane Na.
Songs are said to be the major plus and Shruti Hassan is scoring few brownie points for her performance. On a whole the talk is ranging from average to hit from various sources and we have to see how general public would relate to the film. The success of this film will depend upon how the audience reacts to the final thirty minutes of the film, which seems like the crucial part to decide the fate of this film. Dookudu @ 50 Days in Singapore
As we already know, a grand function is also planned in Vijayawada. Buzz is that the lead artistes along with Super Star Krishna will be present on the occasion. This Mahesh Babu and Samanta starrer movie had got rave reviews and was highly successful at the box office. The film has its share of humor and punch which was blended with action sense to bring the best of Mahesh by director Sreenu Vytla. The response was overwhelming as we have witnessed.
What Chiru and Nag think about their Sons?
What are their reactions as a father on Ram Charan and Naga Chaitanya's achievements? Many say "Both must be feeling happy and proud. But Chiru finds it difficult to express, he speaks as if he is a competitor to his son forever. Basically, by doing that, he wants to keep Charan grounded." They add "As for Nag, he flashed his cool cucumber smile when Chaitu achieves something good. He has a very neutral reaction to it but inside, he must be beaming with a lot of pride at his son's achievement in such a young age. It is all on how we assess his smile." Overall, the common opinion is, both Chiru and Nag are happy but they have their own style of expressing it.
Pawan Kalyan @ to act in Dil Raju banner
According to our sources, Dil Raju has met Pawan twice in recent times and got a nod from the actor. The producer is currently looking for a script and if everything is as expected the film will go onto the floors sometime in 2012.

Shwetha Menon @ Rathinirvedam release date
The film has completed the dubbing formalities and the makers are planning to release the film on November 18. The film has completed 100 days run successfully in Malayalam. The story of the film revolves around a young boy who falls in love with a woman older than he is. Sreejith plays Pappu, while Swetha Menon is essaying the role of Rathi.The film is directed by TK Rajeev Kumar.

RGV @ threatened by phone calls and messages
RGV went on clarifying mode and told that this movie is based on a fiction story and it does not resemble any person. He also told that his friend Lagadapati Rajagopal has requested him to change the movie title from Bezawada Rowdilu to Bezawada.
RGV said that the song in this movie is not aimed at a particular caste and requested the people to treat it like any other song.
On the other hand, Vangaveeti Radha quashed the rumors of threatening calls made by his men to RGV and he also told that he never ever called RGV and asked to screen a premiere. “There is no need for me to do all these things”, he said.
Why There Are No 'Sri Rama Rajyam' Trailers?
A noted cine member revealed “It is good this way that the trailers are not revealed. This will give a surprise kick to the audience. Balayya in Lord Rama’s get-up and Ramayanam is in itself a strong image. As it is, this avatar of Balayya is a festival for his fans. Family audience also will come in good numbers irrespective of talk.”
He added “So, by restricting the look to the theatres till release date and without trailers, the value will only increase. While few other suggestions are making rounds, it is not sure what the producers will do. When TV was not there seeing the posters, public used to go to the theatres. But today, in the name of marketing they are assessing and judging the result before hand. For small cinemas it is okay but for Balayya’s mythological film, trailers are not required.”
But no film these days will be known to people that it is hitting screens without trailers making noise in TV channels. They may consider that a strategy but it shows lack of publicity for the film. Fans are eagerly awaiting the trailers of the film.
RamCharan @ Triple bonanza for 2012!!!
If all goes well the chances are that the year 2012 will see not one or two but a total of three films from Cherry. First in the list would be 'Racha' and this would be followed by his new project with VV Vinayak. This will be followed by his third with Vamsi Paidipally.So, considering the triple treat from Charan works out, it will indeed be a cheer for the mega fans. Already, the mega festival will commence from December onwards with Cherry's Babai arriving with 'Panjaa'. And one can imagine the frenzy if by any chance megastar Chiranjeevi takes off with his historic 150th project.
Mohan Babu @ getting huge support in USA
This is also for a rather noble cause. Reports say that Mohan Babu has been collecting funds for running free education scheme in his Sri Vidyaniketan group of institutes. True to his presence and intention, it is heard that many NRIs are coming forward and doing whatever they can to support this initiative.
Those who are aware about this say it is indeed a very challenging task to do and are hailing Mohan Babu for his initiative. Sources also say Mohan Babu is getting able support from his son Manchu Vishnu in running the educational group smoothly. Keep it up Mohan Babu!
Pawan-Brahmi @ Special Song in Panjaa
According to the sources, there is a special sequence in the film where Pawan sings a song praising Bramhi. And Lyric-wise, this song is said to be on the lines of the superhit "Vareva Yemi Facu" number in Money. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the song is sung by Hema Chandra.
Both Pawan and Brahmi share a terrific rapport onscreen. Jalsa and Gudumba Shankar were there best works till date. We often see Comedians praising Heroes in films, but a Star Hero doing the job of praising is something unique. Lookslike, the film is packed with a lot of surprises. Let's hope this special song to repeat the "Vareva Yemi Facu" magic again!!!

Story:
Arjun (Aravind Krishna) is a video game developer who stays in Hyderabad in his own flat. Vandana (Nikitha Narayan) is a fashion designer who comes to Hyderabad to achieve big in her career. They become friends ‘accidentally’ and after a bad experience with her roommates, Nikitha comes and stays in Arjun’s apartment.
Vandana parents (Jayasudha and Sarath Babu) object this love and what happens next forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Aravind Krishna is good looking and a decent actor. He should work on his expressions though.Nikitha Narayan is fine. She did a good job for a debutante. Jayasudha plays a vital role and she is as bankable as ever. Sarath Babu is natural. Pavitra is good. Vennela Kishore as ‘Sujatha’ is a riot in few scenes. ‘Tagubothu Ramesh’ got a lengthy and noticeable role after a long time. He is Okay. The guys who played heroes colleagues annoys with silly conversations. Sundeep Kishan of Prasthanam fame appeared in a song.

Analysis:
When the director named his film as ‘It’s My Love Story’, one would expect it to be a unique love story. Sadly, IMLS is not unique but just a rehash of lots of love stories that we have already seen hundreds of times on the silver screen. A couple facing problems from parents and finally their love triumphs is not a great or special love story.
Director should have dealt this routine love story in an engaging and entertaining way. He tried to infuse freshness in the first hour, which is fairly decent. But in the second hour, the film started to head in a beaten track with ‘predictable’ twists. As the film reaches the finale, it gets on to your nerves with a pathetic storytelling. The ending leaves you gasping and exhausted because it could have been ended that way at the interval itself.
When the director is going to conclude this story on a predictable note, there is no point in dragging it for that much time. Comedy scenes are fine at few instances and cheap/vulgar most of the time. Only saving grace for this stale love story is the music. Songs are good on ears and a couple of them would stay with you.

Venky-Mahesh’s film Updates
Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu’s multi-starrer film titled "Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" was launched recently with a formal pooja ceremony, now the regular shooting of the film starts from December 5th. Actress Samantha has been roped in to play the female lead opposite to Mahesh and Venky’s heroine is not yet confirmed.
The film will be directed by Srikanth Addala of Kotha Bangaru Lokam fame and Dil Raju is producing it. Mickey J Meyer is the music director for this film. Guhan is the cinematographer and Ananta Sriram is writing the lyrics for this film.
Megastar @ Rachcha sets
Mega Star Chiranjeevi made a surprise visit yesterday (November 8th) at the sets of ‘Rachcha’ movie, a forth coming film of his son Ram Charan. He made a visit to just have a look at how his popular song ‘Vaana Vaana Velluvaye’ from ‘Gangleader’ is being shot.
Chiru spent some time at the sets appreciating the choreography and giving small feedbacks to his son Cherry. The remixed ‘Vaana Vaana Velluvaye’ song is a romantic duet song of Ram Charan and Tamannah. In Gang Leader movie the original song was shot on Chiranjeevi and Vijaya Shanti.
3 Months: 17 Movies To Release In Tollywood
Starting with Siddharth's O My Friend and Its My Love Story scheduled for release on November 11, along with two dubbed films, 1911 and Viswarakshakudu.
The only flick to be released on November 17 is Sri Rama Rajyam and the following week will see the Naga Chaitnya starrer, Bezawada released along with Solo on November 24.
After a week’s lull, Pawar Kalyan’s Panjaa will hit the theatres on December 9, and will have two weeks all to itself till the next release, Ranjana, will hit the theatres on December 22.
Sankranti has a bouquet of six films including; Businessman, Bodyguard, Nippu, Life is Bueatiful, 3 Rascals, and Poolarangadu coming on January 14.
Sankranti will also see two dubbed films hitting the screens.
'The Businessman' To Surpass 'Dookudu'
It may not be all about records or creating new ones but when a film of a top shot star is arriving, the expectations are always the best. And when it is someone like Mahesh Babu, it has to be nothing but the best. So, speculations have begun on his new project ‘The Businessman’ and here is a mix of fact with prediction.
The common opinion being given by many is ‘The Businessman’ is sure to surpass ‘Dookudu’. This is coming strongly from the camp of the film who has been closely monitoring the making and taking. Some are also saying that it will be double the impact of ‘Pokiri’ in terms of collections and entertainment.
