After looking at this poster, no one could raise any objection to the statement of Zanjeer director Apporva Lakhia that Charan is the next angry young man of Hindi cinema and no other Bollywood hero could fit the role of protagonist in 'Zanjeer ' remake to a 'T' except him. Comparisons between young heroes of different background are a common feature in the Tollywood circuit. This has also become a reason for feud between fans of various stars. But now, the focus is on the leading top heroes of Tollywood and their debut in Bollywood. We are talking about the duo of Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan. Though Mahesh got offers from Mumbai he didn’t go. For him, it is not a big deal to enter Bollywood. The hubby of Namrata Shirodkar tag is already there. Currently, Mahesh is the face for Thums up ad in the entire national spectrum. Of course he had a professional dubbing artist for his voice. Ram Charan @ Yevadu New Schedule Details

Mega Power Star Ram Charan's new movie 'Yevadu' under the direction of Vamsi Paidipalli will begin its new schedule on April 27. However, Ram Charan will join the sets of Yevadu on April 30 as he is currently in Mumbai shooting for his maiden Bollywood movie 'Zanjeer'. The unit will film crucial scenes of the film on Ram Charan and other cast in Hyderabad in this schedule. Dil Raju is producing the movie on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, while Vamsi Paidipalli directs it. Allu Arjun is playing a pivotal role and Samantha, Amy Jackson are playing female leads. DSP is scoring the music. Yevadu is aimed for pongal, 2013 release.

Mumbai: At Film City on Sunday Amitabh-Vijay Bachchan decided to say hello to Ram Charan, who is reprising his role as the angry young man in Apoorva Lakhia’s remake of Zanjeer.

Bachchan asked Ram Charan about the sequence they were picturising and was told that it was the one where Vijay Khanna comes back to his house and there are goons in his bathroom who attack him. The veteran actor, we can tell you, immediately sat up and quizzed the young actor about how exactly were they planning to execute it when Ram Charan quickly pointed out that the sequence has been changed from his house to a five star hotel.

Bachchan was extremely warm towards the young actor, whose father has been his friend for years, Ram Charan was suitable tongue-tied and a tad overwhelmed in his presence.

The meeting ended with much hugging and touching the feet, and Ram Charan and Lakhia immediately let the virtual world know about their close encounter of the different kind.

Mega powerstar Ram Charan Tej has landed in Mumbai and he has begun the ground work for his debut movie in Bollywood, the remake of the yesteryears hit ‘Zanjeer’. The original had legend Amitabh Bachchan teaming up with the veteran Pran and many stated that the actor essaying the role of Pran would be important for the remake.
This is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia and it is heard that as soon as Charan landed in Mumbai, Lakhia took him to the best salon in the city and got a total crew cut done for him. Apparently, Cherry is essaying the role of a cop so Lakhia wanted the look to be real. And another update has also arrived.
Earlier, it was mentioned that the deadly Sanjay Dutt would reprise the role of Pran but now his place has been taken by the chiseled stud Arjun Rampal. Sources say the important crux of the film is the crucial fight between Charan and Arjun which is being planned on a very ambitious note.

Apoorva Lakhia is directing the movie which is being produced by Reliance Entertainment in both Telugu and Hindi languages simultaneously.
