Trisha, Kajal, Ileana are riding high on success of their movies Businessman, Bodyguard, Nanban respectively. Life changed for these in span of one week. This success is so crucial for these heroines given that this trio was struggling. Ileana, Kajal involved in controversies with their comments on various Telugu heroes and Tollywood, which made them idle for sometime. Trisha was also struggling as age is catching up on her physique.
Shankar’s Nanban opened to packed houses and has been doing great at the box office since the day of release.The gorgeous actress of Nanban, Ileana D’Cruz is now everywhere in the media. After the release of Nanban, Vijay made a visit to Pondicherry to distribute relief funds for those who are affected by the recent Thane cyclone and then later moved to Cuddalore.
He said ' it was delayed because of other works related to Nanban release and now i am here, also he added that he would reach out people in all affected regions in Tamilnadu who are affected by Thane cyclone'
Vijay distributed relief provisions like rice, dress, blankets, mattresses and utensils to the affected people and wished them to have a peaceful pongal.
The first day Collections made by Vijay's Nanban is said to be 15 crores. It has been five days since the movie release.
The film which has been decalred as superhit by trade circles has crossed 60 crores within it's 5 day of movie release says sources.
On all sides Vijay's Nanban has been getting good reports and the entire team is happy about it.
Nanban is directed by S Shankar and it is the remake of 'Three Idiots'. The film has Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj, Sathyan, Ileana in the lead roles.

Naan Ee is an upcoming socio-fantasy movie directed by Top Telugu director SS Rajamouli who gave mega hit films in Telugu.
Most of his films are remaked/dubbed in to Tamil which includes Siruthai, Maaveeran(Magadheera) and now the director is coming up with Eega which will be dubbed in Tamil as Naan Ee.
The film has Nani(Veppam fame), Samantha, Sudeep in the lead roles. Also Santhanam will be a part of this mega fantasy adventure. The film is slated for a March 31 release.
Now that the Sankranthi frenzy is over and the results seem to be somewhat satisfactory for Tollywood, the focus has now shifted to the coming movies. One film which has caught the attention of many and has become a major point of discussion is S S Rajamouli’s ‘Eega’.
The tough taskmaster who is attempting something completely different in Tollywood history has unveiled the first look of the film during the festival. With reports arriving that the film is now progressing briskly with the post production, the excitement and eagerness is building up among cine buffs.
They say “Rajamouli’s film means it has to be something special. And with the genre he has chosen this time, we are expecting he will take Tollywood to another range like he did with ‘Magadheera’. Choosing a housefly as the protagonist is an absolute challenge.” Let us wait to see how Rajamouli will match these expectations.

Congress MLC and CM Kiran Kumar Reddy's close aide Ranga Reddy on Monday denied to have stated that superstar Mahesh Babu would join the Congress party.
"There is no proposal either from the party side or from Mahesh's side regarding his entry into active politics by joining Congress," clarified Ranga Reddy.
Reacting to the reports in a section of media about Mahesh joining the Congress party, Ranga Reddy said,"What I said in the past was that Adiseshagiri Rao (Mahesh's Uncle) have been given a good position for serving the Congress. If Mahesh joins the party, he would also be rewarded with a suitable position. I never said that Mahesh will join the Congress party".
Ranga Reddy also reminded that Congress party has always given due respect to the film personalities who joined the party, whether it was Purandeshwari or Dasari and even Chiranjeevi is no exception. "Chandrababu is applying the 'Use-and-Throw' policy on the family members of NTR. But, Congress would never treat Mahesh Babu like a 'curry leaf'," he asserted.

The plot goes like this:
ACP Krishna Manohar (Mahesh in Pokiri) gets married to his lover (Ileana). He receives a call from Central Home Minister to catch Surya Bhai (Mahesh in Businessman) who is penetrated deep into the system. Surya Bhai continues his mission mafia even after getting married to his love (Kajal). Now the tussle starts between Pokiri Mahesh and Businessman Mahesh. Who wins should be watched on screen. Yes, its needless to say Mahesh is in dual role.
The film is hitting floors in September and planned to complete in 3 months to release by Sankranthi 2013. Mahesh is already bringing pressure on Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu team to complete his part by August.
