He is considered the legend who has become immortal. He is the demigod who became a personification of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna to many Telugu people. He is the force who created a new political power with a strong Telugu identity. He is an icon whose records can never be beaten.
He is none other than N T Rama Rao and today happens to be his birth anniversary. Though it has been years since N T R left us, there are many of his loyal fans who remember him and perform special activities on his birth anniversary. Till date, the Nandamuri fans have a strong respect for NTR.

Balayya: No Influence Of NTR On Me

With 'Adhinayakudu' inching for release, Balayya is opening his mouth about this delayed flick. The Nandamuri hero shared his thoughts about the political backdrop of this flick, including the influence of his legendary father on him.
While the senior balayya's look in the film resembles senior NTR's look in 'Badi Panthulu' and 'Kula Gowravam', Balayya denied it completely. But the hero asserts that he learnt discipline and sincerity from his father, which is in way missing from the younger brigade of heroes. 'I've never tried to imitate my father in any way. He advised me to develop a self style rather imitating someone including him. In that way there is no question of his influence', says Balayya.  It is an open secret that only Balayya succeeded in carrying the legacy of that legendary actor, while his other siblings just sparkled like that. 
Though the hero never responded about the reasons behind the delay in the release of this movie, he felt excited about the scheduled release on June 1st. Insiders revealed that this film has no connection with the present political scenario of the state and Balayya confirmed it. 'It is a nice family drama woven around the Rayalseema faction. Audience will get entertained for 2 hours in the most mesmerizing way', says Balayya after getting fingers crossed about the release. 

Legendary NTR @ In Jr.NTR's Baadshah!!

You read it right. Legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao is going to star in Junior NTR's upcoming movie 'Baadshah'. If sources are to be believed, this is going to be a wonder on Telugu screen.
Unlike earlier, where clips from Sr.NTR's old movie are collected and dubbed with different voice, the makers are banking on modern technology now. Yesteryear flick 'Kalisundam ra' and junior's hit movie 'Yamadonga' has used that old formula. This time, with Rajnikanth using the best of latest motion capture technology in 'Kochadaaiyan', the bug has bitten our folks too.
This technology enables to give precise humanoid movements to 3D characters making them look real and believable. Sreenu Vytla, an avid lover of this legendary hero is now planning to have a 15 minute episode that costs around 10 crores with Senior and Junior sizzling on silver screen. The news is not yet authenticated; let us wait for official announcement if any.

Jr.NTR @ Drops DVSK Project!!

The bonding between young tiger Junior NTR and director V V Vinayak is known to all. Their combo has also generated some decent share of hits.From quite some time, both of them were reportedly planning to team up for the magnum opus 'Dana Veera Soora Karna' and here is the latest update.


It is heard that both of them discussed on this recently and NTR reportedly asked Vinayak to drop the project. The key cause for that happens to be the flop of 'Sri Rama Rajyam'. This has cautioned the duo and they are reportedly feeling that the budget risk is going to be enormous.
However, there are those who say 'Sri Rama Rajyam' suffered due to lack of action and commercial elements. But if one looks at 'DVSK', the elements for entertainment are very high. For now, it looks like the project has gone into the cold storage and it might require few rounds of confidence for it to come back to life.

Balakrishna now seems to be on a new high after the success of the film Sri Rama Rajyam. He said that he was fortunate to have got an opportunity to play the role of lord Rama in the film in the direction of Bapu.


balakrishna recalled that it was his late father NT Rama Rao who became immortal in the roles of lord rama and Krishna. balakrishna said that he may have inherited this from his father. He said (essaying mythological roles) was in his blood. The fans naturally cheered wildly at the reference to the legendary NT Rama Rao.

SV Ranga Rao Grand Son Enters Tollywood!!

If legendary actors of Telugu Cinema are listed out, this person comes in the Top 3, alongside the great NTR and ANR. The man is none other than SV Ranga Rao. Till now, the grand sons of NTR and ANR are seen raising the dust in the Tinsel town and here comes the 'Grand Son III'.

Apparently, actor of finesse, SV Ranga Rao's grand son is all set to test his luck with Telugu Cinema Industry. As per sources, his grandson, who is also named SV Ranga Rao (like NTR's grandson Jr.NTR), is starting his own production venture to strike the chord. Titled SVR Cine Corp, the production is going to make a low-budgeted flick with Junior SVR as the lead.
A source revealed that Junior SVR is planning to play a safe game such that he can make half a dozen of films on his own. These are the days where much hyped heroes with a strong family backdrop are failing at the BO, so the success of SVR surely depends on the way he gets promoted. Everything will be just a guess, until unless Jr.SVR comes and proves his mettle in ringing ticket counters.

Balayya Vs NTR @ Comparisons

Comparisons are quite common in the cinema circuit especially when someone is reprising a role. Right now, that seems to be the situation with two big names. We are talking about Nandamuri Balakrishna and the legendary N T Rama Rao. The reason for all this is the new movie 'Srirama Rajyam'.

Apparently, the film is gearing up to hit the screens in the month of November and Balayya is seen in the role of Lord Rama. As such, Telugu audience have known N T R as the true incarnation of Lord Rama onscreen. So, they are now waiting to see how Balayya will do justice.
 While some say comparison is imminent between father and son, there are those who say this is not sensible. Their point is, Balayya will have his own style and N T Rama Rao had his own style. Well, the ball is now in the court of the audience to decide whether they will compare or treat the performance as it is.

Recently, a Nandamuri fan went to a small villiage near Bobbili to attend the function at his friend's house. He was surprised to see NTR's photos (as Lord Rama and Lord Krishna) in the puja room, instead of many gods we worship.  When he quizzed about it, they said that it's a regular practice for them to pray NTR.

After knowing that, It's a different feeling to him altogether and said he never experienced such thing in his entire life. He said himself that "I'm proud to be a Nandamuri fan and will always be the same for the rest of my life".
Although we have many actors, NTR is the one and only to be treated by most of the people as nothing less than God. Infact, he is the only actor in Indian Cinema History to attain such a stature. If the situation remains the same, who knows - the next generations might believe that NTR is a real god, looking at the pictures of his wonderful mythological characters. Long Live NTR!!!
