The recent release ‘Businessman’ has been causing quite a rage across the box office. Before the heat settles, another storm arose with the announcement that director Puri Jagannadh has begun to plan for the sequel. The buzz that it will be a ‘Pokiri’ Mahesh Babu vs ‘Businessman’ Mahesh Babu came as a crazy attraction.
However, the latest update is that the film is cancelled. Sources say Mahesh didn’t reveal about this and he is speaking only about Sukumar’s film after ‘Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’. On the other hand, Puri has come up with a tweet - Just met Pawan Kalyan. Finally doing a film together… Very sooooooon”
With this, it looks clear that Puri will get busy with Pawan’s project. Looking at the recent updates, the cine folks are confirming that the much hyped ‘Businessman 2’ looks to be shelved. However, there is also a talk that the project is not shelved but in cold storage. But when it will see the light remains to be seen.
Contrary to recent speculations by a certain section of the media, Telugu actor Prabhas and Kajal Aggarwal aren’t a couple. There were rumours that the two of them spent New Year’s Eve together in Bangkok.
“That’s absolutely rubbish! I spent New Year’s Eve with my family,” says Kajal, “Sorry to disappoint all those who think I’m dating someone, but I’m still single.”
"I’m very happy that my Telugu film Businessman is a superhit and has won me rave reviews. I hope the rest of the year turns out good too," says Kajal.
Actor Vijay is glad to see his latest outing Nanban which is a remake of 3 idiots of Hindi.
Jiiva and Srikanth did other vital roles in the movie. After Kavalan, Velayudham he tasted success with Nanban.
When asked about his views of doing multi-starrers in future, ' Why not? It all depends on the script, irrespective of other aspects” vijay said. “Shankar is the best director I have ever worked with. I should call it a super chance. There used to be a lot of clarity and perfect planning. More than a great filmmaker, Shankar sir is a humble human being”, the actor further added.
Nanban is set to release in Telugu with title Snehitudu soon. Currently, dubbing works are going on. With having Ileana as female lead makers are confident that the movie will surely lure the Tollywood audience.
Karthi starring Saguni written and directed by Shankar Dayal has Praneetha playing his love interest and Anushka Shetty appears a cameo.
The actor says "I’m a bad man with a good heart and I will torture the audiences with humour.” Karthi speaking about his character adds “I will be seen a clutter with wicked thoughts and surprise viewers with real face, as there is a mission behind every activity."
Saguni has politics, comedy and romance, the story line goes around an ordinary man from a village backdrop making big in metropolitan city like Chennai. Saguni entertains Santhanam in a comic role after their wavelength was applauded in Siruthai. “Director Shankar has ensured Saguni will be an entertainer,” concluded Karthi.
Karthi is busy with the untitled project directed by Suraj with Anushka in the lead produced by K.E.Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Films.
Vettai is a film which has been released recently and has become a great hit. Since this film is being remade in Hindi, Sameera Reddy wants to act in the Hindi version also. Vettai is a film which has been directed by Lingusamy and has Madhavan, Sameera Reddy, Arya and Amala Paul in the cast.
This film which was released for Pongal has turned out to be a super duper hit. This film has been produced by Tirupathi Brothers in association with UTV Motion Pictures. Producer Ronnie Screwvala of UTV has liked this film very much.
He not only appreciated Lingusamy but also wants this film to be remade in Hindi. Lingusamy will also be directing this Hindi remake. It is understood that Bollywood heroes Salman and Ranbir will act in this film. Moreover there is also news that Sameera Reddy who had acted in the Tamil version will also act in the Hindi version.
When asked Sameera Reddy about this, she said, "I am very eager to act in the Hindi remake of Vettai. I will be very happy if I get the role which I had donned in Vettai."
With the buzz raised by his Pongal release 'Nanban' yet to settle down, Vijay has moved on to his next- 'Thuppakki' which is being directed by A R Murugadoss. "It will show a different Vijay to my fans," says the Ilayathalapathy.
"Thuppakki will be a big treat to the audience. If the script is like a gun, I am the bullet in it. Such will be the narration and presentation of Murugadoss. I am excited about the project," Vijay says further.
On the response to 'Nanban', he says, "We all knew that the film would sure become a hit. Shankar's treatment to an already strong script has done wonders. I am happy to know that my fans are celebrating Nanban at cinema halls."
On whether he would work with Shankar again, Vijay says, "What's wrong if we come together again. In fact, Shankar wanted me to play the lead role in Mudhalvan itself. But I could not take up the offer then due to various reasons."

The young lady recently flew off to AR Rahman's studio for the composition of Superstar Rajinikanth's Kochadaiyaan.
Sources say that a team of 130 German Orchestra musicians where assigned to compose for this mega project.

Stylish star Allu Arjun responded to reports about his Bollywood entry as reported by certain of media. The fourth estate is abuzz with reports that the star hero would be foraying into Bollywood, possibly through in Yash Raj Films. However, Allu Arjun denied all reports saying that he’s waiting for a great script that can movie him. Allu Arjun says “I got some offers, including some from Yash Raj Films, but I want something fascinating that will force me to move out of my comfort zone. TDP founder and former chief minister NT Ramarao's 16th death anniversary is being observed at NTR Ghat on Wednesday, January 18th. Balakrishna paid floral tributes and hailed his father, who has done a great service to the people of the state.
When media quizzed Balakrishna whether he is the political successor to his father, the actor replied,"I'm not NTR's political successor. But, I would work in the direction of achieving his goals".
Balakrishna clarified that he would contest from the Assembly seat and party would decide the constituency.
"I have not decided anything yet on which constituency I should represent. People of all the regions are dear to me. I'm ready to contest from any where in the state," he said.
Balayya stated that he would never invite his sister Daggubati Purandeswari to join the Telugu Desam Party. "We would never invite her. If Purandeswari wants to join our party, then she most welcomed," he said.
Reacting to erstwhile PRP chief Chiranjeevi comments on him, Balakrishna said,"I would not mind the comments made by Chiranjeevi. He learnt politics very well. That's why, he is lobbying for cabinet berths in Delhi".

Buzz is that the movie would be an action-packed entertainer and the script is all completed. Once Surya completes Maatran, the film will go to floors.

Recently the Overseas rights for Billa 2 where bought by GK Media for a record price.
The film's rights where bought by this US Based Tamil films distribution company for a whomping amount of $1 Million!
Earlier Tamil films rights was bought at this higher level only for Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Vijay and Surya films. Now Ajith has breaked those records says sources.
This will be the highest ever amount paid for Ajith's film and has beaten down Mankatha overseas rights.
So it is clear that Ajith's Billa 2 is going to rock this summer.
Vijay recently made a visit to Cuddalore district to distribute relief funds for those who are affected by the recent Thane cyclone.
He said ' it was delayed because of other works related to Nanban release and now i am here, also he added that he would reach out people in all affected regions in Tamilnadu who are affected by Thane cyclone'
Vijay distributed relief provisions like rice, dress, blankets, mattresses and utensils to the affected people.
Finally Rajnikanth's Kochadaiyaan is all set to hit the floors.
With Superstar recovering completely from his illness, shooting for Kochadaiyaan, directed by his daughter Soundarya is all set to commence.

The latest from the production team is that Rajnikanth will be sporting a long hair do for the film. Since the story is inspired by the life of an ancient Tamil king, Rajnikanth has zeroed in on the getup.
Mahesh Babu's remuneration is sure to raise many eyebrows. The Superstar charged a remuneration of Rs 9 crore for Dookudu. However, the stupendous success of 'Dookudu' has prompted him to increase the pay package. Currently, the star is charging a whopping Rs 9 crore along with 50% share in entire Overseas rights.
Notably, Mahesh has a huge market in Overseas which is on par with that of his business range in the Nizam area. No other hero in the Industry is able to achieve that milestone till date. So, he is cashing in on that craze at the moment.

The superhit combination of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Crazy Director Puri Jagannath is back again. Yes, they have teamed up for an action entertainer which would go to the floors soon.
"Just met Pawan kalyan. Finally doing a film together. Very sooooooon," Puri announced.
Puri got his first break in the Industry with Pawan's 'Badri'. Though he approached the star several times with a bunch of scripts after 'Badri', Pawan turned them down citing various reasons. But, the director hasn't given up.
According to the reliable sources, Puri narrated a storyline to Pawan recently which took the actor by surprise. Pawan immediately asked the director to develop the idea. Puri came up with a bound script Today and has given a final narration to Pawan on the sets of his upcoming film Gabbar Singh. Finally, Pawan has given his nod to go ahead with the project.
Good to see Pawan Kalyan working with a hot-shot director after a long gap. The fans of Powerstar has now every reason to cheer up!
