Simbu re-joins @ Vettai Mannan team!!
Nelson is directing multi-starrer Vettai Mannan that casts Simbu, Hansika, Jai, Poonam Kaur and Deeksha Seth in the leads. The movie was put on standstill for about 2 months, as Silambarasan was away to Las Angels and now Vettai Mannan team is back into shooting sets recently. “Back to shoot after like almost 2 months !!! Feels so grt to hear start camera action :),” tweeted Simbu.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing background for Vettai Mannan, which will showcase Hansika as the gangster. While Shakthi is handling cinematography, SS Chakravarthy is producing the movie under Nic Arts banner and Anthony Gonsalves will be taking care of editing.
Shamshabad Temple @ for Prabhas Rebel!!
Rebel being produced lavishly by J.Bhagwan and J. Pulla Rao on the banner of Sri Balaji Cine Media is a high voltage action thriller with all the commercial elements. The action sequences were shot in Bangkok earlier and they are said to be the highlighting episodes of the film.
However, Rebel is being in news for some wrong reasons. Firstly, Anushka walked out of the movie and was later replaced by Tamanna. Later music director Thaman has bid adieu to the unit wishing all the best for Lawrence who planned to compose the music. Now, the buzz is cinematographer Ram Prasad has been replaced with Sarvesh Murari. Hope the replacements ends here.
Tall Heroine's @ loose Body talk!!
She is the enchanting seductress Deeksha Seth. However, despite having the potential to make it big, it appears that Deeksha seems to be losing focus. Apparently, the talk is about the tall Deeksha's loose body. Those who saw her in 'Veedinthe' stated on how Deeksha looked thin and lost all the charm.
Now, after watching 'Nippu' they are saying she has lost her fitness and curves. Though Deeksha has an unusual sex appeal, many are advising she must focus on toning up her body so that the glamour quotient is seen when she wears short outfits. The other tip they are giving for Deeksha is, she must maintain a voluptuous figure and not go for any size zero. Let us see what she does.

Story:
Surya (Raviteja) and Sriram (Sriram) are close friends. Sriram faces death sentence in Saudi Arabia, as they believe that he has killed his lover Vaishnavi (Bhavana). But the fact is Vaishnavi accidentally dies by falling from the roof top. Now Surya has a task on hands.
He has to get a letter from Vaishnavi’s parents to save his friend from death sentence. Surya comes to know that Vaishnavi is the daughter of Raja Goud (Pradeep Rawath), who has been waiting to take revenge on Surya as he rubbed him on the wrong side. Surya realizes that convincing Raja to sign the papers is not easy.
There is another person who is against Raja. He is Shankar Kaka (Mukul Dev). Surya join hands with him and gives a deadly blow to Raja. What happens next is the rest of the story.

Performances:
Ever energetic Raviteja looked uninterested in this movie. He simply sleep walked through the character. His usual brand of comic timing is missing too. At times he tried his best to lift the spirits. His combination scenes with Brahmanandam are okay to some extent.
Deesksha Seth is cute. But she needs to learn how to act. She failed to get the basic expressions right which is not a good sign for an upcoming actress. Rajendra Prasad is fine in his limited role. Sriram is just okay. Pradeep Rawath is usual. Brahmanandam’s presence is felt. Mukul Dev is alright. Brahmaji and others did their best as per the script and characterizations.

Finally: Nippu is a routine film with too many fights and weak script. Only Raviteja is the saving grace and it is highly doubtful for him to save this film from sinking at the box office.
Raviteja @ 'Nippu' tangled with Flop-Talk??

On the first hand, there is no presence of Raviteja and director Gunasekhar at the pre-release promotion of this movie. Secondly, it is heard that Gunasekhar walked out of the show, as YVS interfered in making the final parts of shooting and even at editing. Even the trailers of the movie looked boring, with all those regular antics of Raviteja like funny walks, massy dialogues and head shaking.
Cine observers are saying that NIPPU may fill the gap of boredom for audiences who are awaiting a new-movie from weeks. The film may not become a massive hit with all these interferences, but will surely collect decent profits, is another talk. NIPPU is going for a grand release today in more than 1000 screens, the first for any Raviteja's film till date. Watch out for our early review and opinions!

Deeksha Seth @ Happy acting in Telugu and Tamil!!
Deeksha Seth has ruled out the possibility of doing Hindi films at least in near future. Her kitty is full this year with quite a few Telugu and Tamil films. “I am not inclined to work in Bollywood and am not actively looking for projects there. I don’t take up movies for the sake of having work,” she said. Her recent film Veedinthe bombed at box-office, but she has pinned her hopes on Gunasekhar’s upcoming film Nippu where she has played the role of an athlete. She’s paired up with Ravi Teja in the film and this is her second film with the actor after Mirapakay. In Tamil, she has Simbu’s Vettai Mannan and another film Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara will release in both Telugu and Tamil.Deeksha Seth @ is a Simbu Fan!!
She says 'right from early days i have been a admirer of STR and after getting into the cine field i became a crazy fan and especially with his Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya, she smiles.
Deeksha says she never dreamt of working together with him but now she is the co-star of Simbu in Vettai Mannan directed by Nelson.
The young actress says 'working with a talented person like Simbu is a great oppurtunity to learn for me and as a fan it is an excitement' she adds.
Prabhas’s @ Rebel in final stages!!
Special action sequences have been conceived for Prabhas in the movie by the duo Ram-Lakshman and music has been composed by Thaman. Marthand K. Venkatesh is the editor. The movie has been shot extensively in Bangkok and other foreign locations.
Raviteja 'Nippu' @ makes Presence for Pongal!!
Technical snags are cited as some of the reasons for delay in nippu audio release. Thaman scored music for the film in which Rajendra Prasad plays an important role while Deeksha Seth is romantic partner besides Raviteja. The movie is directed by Gunashekar and produced by YVS Chowdary under Bommarillu banner. On the other side, ‘Poola Ranagdu’ audio will hit the decks on January 15 (one day late than ‘nippu’) and movie will be released on February 3rd (one day late than ‘nippu’).
Ravi Teja @ Gives lift to his Second Heroines!!!
Coming to the female leads in Nippu and Daruvu, we have an interesting observation here. In Nippu, Deeksha Seth is playing the female lead and in Daruvu Tapsee does it. This is the second time for both these beauties with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja!
Deeksha played second fiddle to Richa in Mirapakay and Tapsee did the same in Veera, in which Kajal was the main female lead. Now Ravi Teja is giving them a big lift by having them as the solo heroines in Nippu and Daruvu. Will they build a career on this foundation is yet to be seen.
