He had brought immense craze to the films with just one poster even if there was no buzz over that film until then. If all these were implemented as they plan, then Panjaa will surely open to record collections all over. Pawan Kalyan's films in the recent times suffered proper publicity barring a few instances like Jalsa. Even producer Ganesh Babu who stated that Pawan Kalyan is his God, didn't bother to do proper publicity for Teen Maar. After release Teen Maar was completely ignored by the producer and we all know what happened to the film despite positive talk.
For Panjaa producers, this is a prestigious film and they want themselves to break into the star producers league with this movie. They are young and have the zeal to stamp their name on Tollywood. Working with such imaginative and enthusiastic producers at this crucial juncture is a boon for Pawan Kalyan.

Gopichand and Tapsee will soon be seen in Krishna Vamsi’s family drama titled ‘Mogudu’. The movie is being produced by Nallamalupu Bujji and Babu Shankar makes his debut as a music director with this film. The music was launched recently at a glittering function which was attended by many of the Telugu Film Industry biggies. Let us see how this album fares.

This is a nice melodious song where the heroine airs her expectations and fantasies about her husband. This song is one of the better ones in the album.

This is a classic solo song used to introduce the hero and this song will be seen before Gopichand’s marriage.in the movie. I was pleasantly surprised to see Seetharama Sastry’s name attributed to this song. It proves that when you have talent, you need not be confined to one genre alone. Seetharama Sastry shows that he can pen words for ‘modern songs’. Modern synthesizer work dominates the music and it is nice to listen to. Nothing to write home about the singing though. A very decent song overall.

This song complements the song ‘Kavali Kavali’. This time, it is the hero who gets into poetry, describing the beauty of his wife. Once again, Sirivennela’s lyrics are top notch. It would be great to see more of his work in today’s movies. Karthik does a good job and the song is very pleasant on the ears. We can expect some stunning picturization from Krishna Vamsi for this song.

This is a romantic duet between the husband and wife. It is a semi-masala song that is usually picturized under the moonlight with some mass choreography. This song will be aimed at the front benchers and we can expect some visual feast from Tapsee. Seetharama Sastry’s lyrics do the job. The music is ok and complements the song’s intended mood. A pretty ok song.

This is a soulful number sung by the hero and once again, Seetharama Sastry’s lyrics take center-stage. Some very nice music from Babu Shankar lends the song a very melodious feel. This song is rendered beautifully by Karthik. You tend to get slowlyaddicted to some songs and this is one such song. It is like slow poison. Once it gets you, there is no turning back. One of the best songs of the album.

This is a fast paced solo song that sounds like a Beyonce or Shakira song when you hear it for the first time. This song might be picturized on Shraddha Das. Sunitha Sarathy does a good job and she infuses energy into the song. The lyrics are pretty average. Babu Shankar’s music is pretty ok and does its job. A fast paced peppy number that is good to listen to. Nothing memorable, but good enough.

This song is along the lines of ‘Naa Mogudu Rampyaari’ from Ninne Pelladutha. We can assume that the picturization will be quite similar too. Suddhala Ashok Teja is a master at penning these kind of songs and it is no different here. The music has a nice rustic feel toit and this song will be a hit with both front benchers as well as balcony class folks. A very bindaas performance from Geetha Madhuri adds to the song’s appeal. This song will be quite popular.

Verdict: Mogudu is a typical Krishna Vamsi album and Babu Shankar makes an impressive debut with this film as a movie director. There is a nice balance between class and mass and Krishna Vamsi has a potential winner on his hands. ‘ Kavaali Kavaali’, ‘Eppudu nee Roopam lo’ and Ettantee Mogudu are my favourites. Expecting some stunning picturization from Krishna Vamsi for these songs as the album plays to his strengths.

Allu Arjun Ultra Stylish Movie with Trivikram

Allu Arjun who is fondly called as stylish star by his fans has been struck in experimental mode for over a period of time. He did films like Vedam, Varudu and Badrinath which didn’t have any style about them. Expectedly those films didn’t get good response from the fans.

Now Allu Arjun is done with experimenting and is back in his usual mode. He will be doing an ultra stylish movie under Trivikram direction which is a breezy romantic entertainer. Trivikram has come up with a unique story with a very different characterization that Bunny is excited about this film.
Allu Arjun is trying to be at his stylish best for this film. He would be seen in a new hairdo and also would wear different costumes in this movie. This film will soon hit the floors and the shooting will be completed at a stretch.

Hot Parvathi Melton is still waiting

Parvathi Melton, who has gone missing after bagging a hit with Jalsa is back with Dookudu, in which she has done an excellent item song. Parvathy’s item song clicked big time with the masses and she has been getting rave response. Despite grabbing the desired attention, Parvathi is not in a hurry to sign up new films.
Buzz says that Parvathi Melton is getting so many offers to do hot item songs but she doesn’t want to be branded as an item girl. Parvathi is looking for a film which offers her a lead role so that she can rebuild her career in Tollywood.
However, Parvathi says that she is ready to take up item songs once in a while and that too for big films only.

NTR Dammu business details

Successful director Boyapati Srinu is directing an out and out mass entertainer titled Dammu which features Young Tiger NTR and Shruti Hassan in the lead roles. The film has raised several eyebrows much before its completion and has become the trade circles favourite.

According to our sources, the film is sold out in overseas and three more territories in Andhra Pradesh. Popular distributor Alankar Prasad has bagged the rights of Krishna, Guntur and Nellore areas through Alankar Films and Sri Charan Films for Rs 7 crore on NRA basis. The overseas rights are acquired by FICUS, the leader in overseas distribution for Rs 2.1 crore. Their recent distribution is Mahesh’s Dookudu.
Right now, the talks are going on between distributors and producer KS Rama Rao and it is learnt that there is huge demand for the remaining areas as well. The distributors are coming up with princely figures to acquire the theatrical rights of this film. Stay tuned for more details.

Pawan Kalyan Panja gets roaring response

Power star Pawan Kalyan forthcoming release Panjaa is expected to release on December 9. This film was not so happening until few days ago. But the first look posters of this film and Pawan Kalyan’s never before getup has brought instant craze to this film.

The film didn’t get any major business offers all these days as the buyers didn’t have any idea about how the film would be. With the title and first look posters they have got an impression that it is an action film with good mass elements. Hence, the business craze zoomed up at once.
Panjaa is getting good offers from various territories and buyers once again believe in Pawan Kalyan’s power despite being fooled with Puli and Theenmaar films.

Ajith to dub for Pawan Kalyan

We have reported earlier that Pawan Kalyan Panjaa is going to be dubbed in Tamil and will aim for a big release in Tamilnadu. The director of this film Vishnu Vardhan is a big brand in Tamilnadu and also there is Yuvan Shankar Raja associated with it, who is also a crazy brand over there.
The producers of Panjaa want to make the most of having two stars from Tamil film industry. Now, the latest buzz says that superstar Ajith Kumar will lend voice to Pawan Kalyan for the Tamil version of this film. Ajith is a very good friend of Vishnu Vardhan as the director resurrected sinking career of Ajith with Billa.
Interestingly, Vishnu Vardhan walked out of Billa 2 for Panjaa but the good relations between them are still intact. If Ajith really dubs for this film then Panjaa Tamil version would be as big as any Tamil superstar’s film.

Samantha condemns the rumors

Samantha is being hailed by one and all in Tollywood as the hat trick heroine. All the films that she starred in were hits and no wonder her demand has increased to a new level after Dookudu. There is news being circulated that Samantha is being offered more than one crore per film.

Samantha is quick to condemn these rumors. She says that the success of those films isn’t her credit. “Those films would have been hits even if I am not there. I don’t want to take the credit for somebody’s hard work. I didn’t ask one crore from any one and nobody has offered me that much,” Samantha said.
This is unusual for any actress who bagged a hat trick and has hundred percent success rate! These days heroines demand for more money despite not doing anything notable. Samtha despite being extremely successful doesn’t want to take the credit. Wow, keep it up Sam!

Prabhas,Rajamouli Movie in Confusion ?

Rajamouli suddenly changed tracks after Magadheera and made a comedy film Maryada Ramanna and then started an experimental film Eega. He announced that he will do a film with Prabhas as the lead long back, but that films didn't go to sets till now.

Meanwhile Prabhas is doing film after film and Rajamouli is yet to decide over the subject for his film with him. Prabhas completed Mr. Perfect and started Rebel as Rajamouli is not ready. Now Rebel shooting was stalled due to Lawrence's illness and Prabhas waved green to do a film under Koratala Siva direction.
It will take at least eight to nine months for Prabhas to complete these films and if Eega releases in the mean time will Rajamouli wait until Prabhas gets free or will he start another experiment to kill the time? Prabhas fans couldn't wait for this movie to hit the floors but the star and director are passing off time with other movies. 

Katrina Kaif Showing Interest on Mahesh Babu

It is common when one hears about a lady appreciating Mahesh Babu or wishing that she gets to romance him. But if reports from Mumbai are to be believed, one hot actress who has a crazy following seems to be showing some interest in our Tollywood prince.

She is none other than Katrina Kaif. Grapevine is that Katrina has been sharing her thoughts with few close circles wherein she enquired about Mahesh and his films. After checking out few of his scenes from internet and his stills, it is heard that she has been expressing a desire to work with him.
Recently, Mahesh was heard mentioning that it would take atleast two years for him to step into Bollywood. Does that mean Katrina would be willing to step into Tollywood for him? After her stint with victory Venkatesh in 'Malliswari', there was a talk those days that she decided never to work in Tollywood. Only time will answer the question...

Nippu shooting in Saudi Arabia

Raviteja’s forthcoming film Nippu has got the permission to shoot in Saudi Arabia. This is the first Telugu movie which got the permission to shoot in Saudi Arabia. This movie is an action thriller and the production unit will soon move to Saudi Arabia after completing the current schedule in Polacchi. The film makers are planning to release the movie for Sankranthi..The movie has completed 70% of shooting.

Deeksha Seth is the heroine of the film. Guna Sekhar is directing the film while Y.V.S.Chowdhary is producing it on Bommarillu banner. SS Thaman is composing the music for this action entertainer.

 

Roopa Behind Samantha Sex Appeal

Dookudu has been a boon to many. While Srenu Vaitla is on cloud nine for the success of the film his better half is not far behind. Roopa Vaitla, as a designer has gained recognition for creating the costumes of Samantha and it is believed that offers are pouring in. The director's wife has bagged the offer from RR Movie Makers. Her job is to design costumes to the same Samantha for the film Autonagar Surya. The film makes believe that Roopa understands the structure of Samantha well and she can enhance the beauty of the heroine by value addition with good looking costumes.

It was originally Sreenu's idea to bring in her wife, who was away from the field for domestic reasons, for designing the costumes of Samantha. Her work was well acclaimed and the outfit was striking which make people who matter to note Roop'a name in the costume designer's list. Normally, Tollywood give little or no importance to costume designing unlike Bollywood where each top artiste will have a designer who works on exclusive basis.

Comedian brahmanandam has acted in countless films and has essayed all kinds of roles. He also has essayed the role of director in many a film. Now for the first time Brahmanandam is wielding the megaphone. Yes, our Brahmi has turned director. 

He is now directing the film titled 'Jaffa'. The film as the name suggests is a rollicking comedy and some of the top comedians in the industry are acting in the film. The story for the film has been penned by comedian Vennela Kishore. Of course Brahmanandam apart from directing is also playing a very meaty role in the film.

Trisha turns 'Vadina' to Mahesh Babu?

Venkatesh is playing the elder brother role to Mahesh in SVSC, which means Trisha would be Mahesh's sister in law (vadina) if she accepts this offer. Trisha played Mahesh's heroine in the films Athadu and Sainikudu and probably one of the few heroines who looked perfect match to the Prince.  They state “Dookudu’ has crossed Rs 70 crores mark. Looking at current trend, it might touch even Rs 100 crores. So, ‘Panjaa’ should come in more theatres, it should also get positive talk and lastly, it should have enough window without any other big release to reap the collections.
