Vidya Balan couldn’t kiss Tusshar

Vidya Balan was supposed to film a kissing scene with Tusshar Kapoor in her upcoming film, ‘Dirty Picture’ but unfortunately the smooching scene between Vidya and Tusshar could not be shot due to dragonflies attack.  Everything was set at the Ramoji studio in Hyderabad and Tusshar was just about to kiss Vidya but all of a sudden bunch of dragonflies entered the shooting area and disrupted everything.

It was getting inside the mouth and clothes of the crew member and to shoot under such circumstances was just impossible. On looking at the call of the situation, director Milan Luthria called off the shoot. The scene has to be shot at night but by the time the dragonflies left, it was almost morning. The cast flew off to Mumbai and now the kissing scene will be shot in Mumbai later this month.

Director Milan Luthria confirmed the incident, "There were millions of those flies. They would get into our mouths and clothes," he recalls.

Siddharth and Shruthi Hassan BreakUp!!!

It is a known fact that Kamal Hassan’s daughter Shruti Haasan and actor Siddharth are involved in a live-in relationship. The affair ignited when they were first cast opposite each other in Anaganaga O Dheerudu. Rumor has it that this affair is on the brink of a breakup now.
        Siddharth was a bigger star than Shruti when their love blossomed and right now Shruti is all set to attain the superstardom. She has 7aam Arivu in Tamil with Surya and she has signed Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh in Telugu. She is already a part of NTR’s film with Boyapati Srinu.         With such lineup, Shruti is just a whisker away from reaching the top. On the other hand Siddharth is crumbling with each film. None of his recent releases got decent returns. Shruti doesn’t find any reason to get along with Sid, who is known for arrogance and head weight attitude. Looks like he will soon be kicked out by her as Siddharth’s previous love Soha Ali Khan did.

Gabbar Singh crew has left to Kerala

Pawan Kalyan's upcoming movie 'Gabbar Singh' pre production works have started some time back and are currently in full swing. The crew has left to Kerala and are scouting for locations for picturing songs and other scenes. Director Hairsh Shankar's team has left to Kerala to finalize locations and once that's completed, Hairsh Shankar and Pawan Kalyan would then settle scores on the final cast and crew. Incidentally, even Pawan Kalyan's 'The Shadow' movie is also shooting in Kerala and Coimbatore.
Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh is a Telugu remake of Bollywood blockbuster movie 'Dabangg' starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. Shruthi Hassan is being considered as heroine in Telugu and Suhasini Maniratnam will be playing Pawan Kalyan's mother. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music and the movie is produced by Ganesh Babu under Parameswara Arts. Gabbar Singh movie shooting is likely to commence from November.

Rana Daggubati Romances Sexy Kangana Ranaut

Is it raining offers for Daggubati Rana in Bollywood? May be! As of now, sources say that Daggubati Rana will be romancing with Kangana Ranaut Kris And Suri. After enthralling everyone with her performance in 'Tanu Weds Manu', Kangana Ranaut will enact in another romantic anecdote 'Kris And Suri' with Rana Daggubati, who is currently busy with RGV Department.
Mind you, this Rana Daggubati and Kangana Ranaut pair was third time lucky to come together. They were previously supposed to be paired up for Dum Maaro Dum and Department but things did not work out. Both Rana and Kangana loved the script so much that they promptly gave dates for the film. Kris And Suri movie is likely to start shooting in October and the movie would be directed by Rajshree Ojha and produced by Pritish Nandy Communications Ltd.  No wonder, Kangana is tensed about this offer since the previous efforts to bring both these actors together failed.

Balakrishna Mahadeva Naidu Release Date

Natasimha Namdamuri Balakrishna's upcoming Telugu movie 'Mahadeva Naidu' (tentatively titled) release date has been scheduled for 2012 Sankranthi – January 12. Exuded confidence about  Mahadeva Naidu release date, producer  ML Kumar Chowdary said the movie would be ready by that time and we are planning the shooting schedules accordingly. Directed by Paruchuri Murali, Mahadeva Naidu started its fresh schedule couple of days back and the entire movie shooting would be wrapped up by November.
In Mahadeva Naidu, Balakrishna plays triple role and 3 heroines are being paired up with Balakrishna  – Charmi, Saloni and Lakshmi Rai apart from Jayasudha and Sukanya. Coming to Sankranthi, Balakrishna has strong association with Sankranthi releases as many of his movies hit the screens for this festival and achieved resounding success. Blockbusters like Samrasimha Reddy and Narasimhanaidu have hit the marquee and rewritten Telugu cinema industry records with collections and 100 days centers. 

Jr NTR and Naga Chaintanya in 'Gundamma Katha' remake

Jr NTR and Naga Chaintanya, the youngsters from the legendary families are all set to team up for a film. They are willing to do the remake of yesteryears classic ‘Gundamma Katha’. Both of them are ready to do the film and are looking for a director who could handle the film well.

Also there is a question mark hanging over about who will play the role of Gundamma. Naga Chaitanya said it is hard to find the right Gundamma now. “When we find one, Gundamma Katha remake will go to sets,” he stated. Earlier there were plans to remake this with Nagarjuna and Balakrishna in the lead roles. But it is up to the young Akkineni and Nandamuri to do the honors.

Tamil hero cashing on Mahesh Babu

Aravam young heroes like Suriya, Karthi, Simbu and Jiiva have become popular in Tollywood with their films faring on par with direct Telugu releases. Apparently there is one more top hero in Kollywood eyeing to capture a part of Telugu market and his name is vijay. Yes, vijay being the Super Star of Kollywood could not make a mark in Telugu. Reason is very simple as majority of super hits vijay secured in Tamil are remakes of Telugu hit films.

Now, vijay is pinning hopes on Telugu dubbing version of ‘Nanban’ (that is Hindi ‘3 Idiots’ remake in Tamil) which is possibly titled as ‘3 Rascals.’ When Gemini Films Circuit has dropped the idea of Telugu remake with Mahesh Babu for various reasons, director Shankar is known to have advised them to dub and release a Telugu version in which vijay is main hero. If ‘3 Rascals’ becomes a hit in Telugu, surely vijay will get a position in above said Tamil hero’s list. Let us see, how far vijay will cash on this Mahesh Babu’s project.

Dookudu dominating 'Dhada + Kandireega'

The two month famine for big flicks in Tollywood is to end on August 11 and 12 with lined releases of ‘Dhada’ and ‘Kandireega.’ Given the present form of Naga Chaitanya with two back to back hits, obviously he seems to be in a driver seat with a bit of edge over Ram’s ‘Kandireega.’ As these two flicks are taking the central topic in Film Nagar discussions, more than these two we are hearing news about mahesh babu ‘Dookudu’ which got into sudden limelight from last one week.

Apparently audio of ‘Dookudu’ being in dilemma and no proper release date announced till now yet we are witnessing the aggressive approaches of D. Shiva Prasad Reddy and Bellamkonda Suresh unable to withstand the ‘Dookudu’ mania. Well, nothing new to talk on as mahesh babu’s craze is reaching an all time high for this film. Wish that, he will settle all the old scores.

Is Sneha behind Bunny's Flops!!!

Allu Arjun made valiant efforts to make Badrinath click at the box office. Sadly, it didn’t worked out for him as Badrinath turned out to be a flop based on ROI (return on investment). Arjun tried his best to brand it a hit because it was the first film to release right after his marriage.
         Bunny wanted everyone to call his wife Sneha ‘the lucky charm’, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. If we dig further into this, Sneha Reddy seems to have brought the bad luck for Bunny boy! Allu Arjun didn’t register a single hit after his marriage was fixed with Sneha. Before that Allu Arjun has the most enviable success record among the young heroes. Of late he has been struggling to find that much needed hit. However, people that believe in luck factor says that bad luck doesn’t stay for long and if Sneha is lucky enough, Bunny should find that hit with his next film itself. Let’s hope so.

Katrina makes jawans 'Over Joyed'

Katrina Kaif has learnt how to fire a gun like the Indian Army. She was on a visit to the border district of Rajouri LOC sector to spend three days with the army men who were known to be tough guys, as part of the program undertaken by the actress for a television show. She has done some major Army tricks along with the jawans in forward post along the Line of Control.

Katrina kick started the event with planting the trees in the compound. The actress followed it up with a firing session, rope climbing, river crossing exercise and learnt shooting with the jawans with the army officials in the range. The girl who has undergone an image makeover with her recent films, went a step further and learnt shooting with the jawans. The jawans we awestruck by the dare-devil attitude of the actress and most importantly they enjoyed her presence. Katrina made them even more happy by joining them for lunch at the camp.

Nagarjuna might seem a gentleman and a man with no egos on the outlook. But people that watches him closely says that he is one person who always craves to reach the top. Nagarjuna fails to draw the attention of audience with flop or average films whereas Venkatesh is a bankable hero than him. Venky’s success percentage is far ahead of Nagarjuna. Even trade pundits agree that Venky is a bigger star at the box office. But Nagarjuna doesn’t like to accept the facts and always insists his name or picture to be ahead of Venkatesh. This self proclaimed King’s egoistic nature is always highlighted in the TV channel in which he owns a lion share. That channel is known for blowing Nagarjuna’s trumpet day and night!

Ramcharan is going to sing Docomo?

If sources are to believed, Mega Powerstar Ram Charan has been roped in to be a brand ambassador of one of the leading mobile networks 'Tata Docomo' in AP. Earlier, Ram Charan endorsed Airtel in Andhra Pradesh. As the 2 years contract has reportedly come to an end, Airtel is looking forward to replace the young hero with Pawan Kalyan. Knowing the news, Tata Docomo has approached Ram Charan with a proposal to endorse their network for a pay pack of Rs 2 crore.

If Ram Charan signs the deal, he will replace B-town star Ranbir Kapoor in Docomo's regional edition and would be taking light-hearted potshots at rival networks. As Docomo's latest comedy series of ads with the concept of "Keep it Simple Silly" has been a huge hit with Ranbir, we have to wait how it looks with Ram Charan. Official confirmations is yet to be made on Ram Charan signing the deal.

Is Naga Chaitanya Really A Star?

Speaking about the star kids of Tollywood, one name which has been vying for the tag of a star is Naga Chaitanya. Now, his graph at the box office may well be calling him a star but a little insight from a few has now brought upon few doubts and they ask if it is too early to name him a star. They say “Chaitu made his debut with ‘Josh’ and this happened with daddy Nagarjuna’s image, then came ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ which succeeded but it was primarily due to Gautham Menon and A R Rahman. Even ‘100% Love’s success can be attributed to director Sukumar and Allu Aravind’s banner.”

Buzz is that Chaitu’s latest offering ‘Dhada’ is not getting the craze. Many say the reason for that is the producer Shivaprasad Reddy is weak as he has been reeling through few flops. On the other hand, Chaitu’s ‘Bezawada Rowdylu’ got craze due to the publicity guru RGV factor while ‘Autonagar Surya’ got it due to the successful ‘Prasthanam’ director Deva Katta factor. With this, the analysts say “Chaitu is getting credit due to others but not his own. If he has strength then ‘Dhada’ should have got the craze. So, if this becomes a hit then it will give the star image to Chaitu.” Let us see what happens…

Young hero Ram is pairing up with Samantha to act in the direction of Gowtham Menon as per the sources. It is said that the movie is going to be made on Sravanthi Movies banner. After 'Ye Maya Chesave', obviously the craze stands stronger for Gowtham Menon.
