No Telugu Girl @ To Dominate 'Dubai' Show

The four film industries of South are joining hands to do a mega event that showcases the power of these commercially strong tinsel towns. Telugu Film Industry is trying to show dominance in this event, but the competition is tight when it comes to hot girls.
South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) is all set to rock Dubai city on 21st and 22nd June. Every industry is supplying its star heroines to rock the dance floor of the event. However, Tollywood is getting short of these hot beauties to take its side. Among the ruling starlets of Telugu, babes like Tamanna, Samantha and Kajal are busy both in Telugu and Tamil, and hence may not take sides. Hotties like Trisha, Poorna, Sneha who hail from 'aravam' will anyways take the side of Kollywood. Kannada and Malayalam are having their own local talents like Ramya, Nidhi Subbaiah, Nayantara and others. 
Coming to Telugu industry, we have no Telugu girl as a star-heroing at present like our neighbouring tinsel towns. People Swathi, Veda, Madhu Shalini are some known names across South but not having stardom. Observers are saying that our industry will rely on sex-bombs like Shriya and Charmi to prove our supremacy as both the girls identify themselves as Hyderabadis. At least, we should feel proud about this.

Shruti Haasan Getting Bumper Offers!

Success changes many things in life. The same thing is now being experienced by the beautiful Shruti Haasan. After the stupendous success of ‘Gabbar Singh’, she has been getting quite a few bumper offers to endorse brands and open showrooms. The other day, she was invited to launch a high end smartphone in Hyderabad while yesterday, she inaugurated a premium jewellery store. Sources say that she is getting unbelievably fancy prices for these appearances.
Before ‘Gabbar Singh’, Shruti did not have a very favourable reputation in Tollywood. But now things seem to have changed and she is enjoying a great spurt of public interest and support. The actress is looking to score a few more hits at the Box Office to solidify her place at the top. Shruti will be seen opposite Nitin in a forthcoming film.

GabbarSingh @ Main Drawback?

Pawan Kalyan's latest film Gabbar Singh is releasing on this Friday without any doubt. The film was cleared by the censors and nothing will happen with protests from police associations for sure. Such things have become most common for big movies nowadays. However, there is one drawback for the movie is what the insiders buzz say!
As most of them suspected, Shruti Haasan, the lead lady in Gabbar Singh, is feared to be the biggest drawback for the film. Shruti with her extreme fair complexion and urban looks didn't suit the role of a village belle it seems. She will be seen in colorful costumes throughout the movie like a typical village girl.
Buzz says that Shruti didn't fit the role at all. It will be hard to believe that she is a village girl with her looks. Sonakshi Sinha added so much value to Dabangg with her raw portrayal of the character. Here, Shruti seems to be a failure in making the character believable it seems. Hope this buzz is not true and let's wish Shruti does justice to her role and the choice of Gabbar Singh team! 

No Postponement of @ Gabbar Singh

Power Star pawan kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh' movie's censor formalities were expected to be completed on 5th of this month. Later, the date was postponed for one day. And now, again there is a further postponement of the change of censor date of the movie as 7th May. These postponements led confusion among the fans and eventually some gossips are making rounds that the movie's release date is going to be postponed for one week. However, producer Ganesh Babu clarified that there won't be any change in the movie's release date and is set to release on 11th May for sure. Shruthi Haasan has paired up with Pawan Kayan in this movie. Devi Sri Prasad has rendered the music and it is currently rocking all over the state. Harish Shankar has directed this flick under the banner 'Sri Parameswara Arts'.

After director Harish Shankar declaration of the wrap of entire shoot, Shruti kissed Pawan on his cheeks and bid goodbye to her fabulous co-star. She is very excited about this project since the day she was roped in to play the role of village belle Bhagya Lakshmi (her character name in Gabbar Singh). The unit sources say, Shruti excelled in her role and Gabbar Singh will be a memorable film in her career.
The multi-talented beauty pinned a lot of hopes on Gabbar Singh, expecting that the outcome of this biggie will bring her good fortune by giving her the much needed hit. Gabbar Singh @ Song Mismatches Hype!?

Most of the times, viewers' thoughts are reversed when it comes to the visualization of songs in big budgeted projects. It is now felt that it is the same thing happening with Powerstar's upcoming project.
Our creative film makers generally prefer an outdoor location for a song that we actually feel like they'll shoot indoor or in Telugu nativity. One of the top hits of 'Gabbar Singh' album is experiencing this 'nativity' shuffle. Pilla Pilla' song from GS remains to be the height of mass for its saucy lyrics and foot tapping 'dappu' beats. Director Harish Shankar opted to film this song in Europe locales, rather doing it in a studio amidst native village back drop. Critics are feeling that a song with high expectations and poor filming will leave negative impact on audiences. 
However, fans are ruling out this theory as Pawan Kalyan is famous for filming mass songs in foreign locales. They are asking to check 'Hey pill ne peru lovely..' song from Tammudu to know the mass power of their hero in foreign backdrop. Wait and see whether GS song holds expectations are not!

The most important aspect for any film industry is the heroine and even for the success of a film, the glamour quotient of the leading lady is crucial. That is why a lot of importance and thinking goes while finalizing a heroine for a project. Recently, a list was revealed which showed the highest and lowest paid actresses in the top league.
First in the list are the awesome beauty Anushka and the gracious beauty Nayantara. It is heard that they charge a whopping Rs 1.15 crores per film. The likes of the saucy seductress Kajal Agarwal, sexy hip beauty Ileana and the milky white beauty Tamannah are charging around Rs 1 crore per film.
The third layer of heroines comprises of the petite beauty Trisha and the lovely smile beauty Samantha who are reportedly charging around Rs 80 lakhs per film. The likes of Shruti Haasan and Taapsee are also being considered and they are charging around Rs 50 lakhs to Rs 60 lakhs, as per sources.

Although critics have always glorified their favourite 'legendary' actor Kamal Hassan and since the very beginning of his career, but they never treated his multi-talented daughter the same way. Since her debut, the Critics has written her off and raised doubts about her skills set as far as acting in concerned. This repeated after the release of every film of her's, but things have changed with her performance in the film '3'. Even the critics had given thumbs up for the brilliant portrayal of emotions in the role of Janani.
Seems like, Shruti Hassan now feels that this is the right time to settle scores with her detractors. She shot back at the critics by saying that she never reads a review before watching a film, in a way questioning the judgemental skills of them.
"I don't read reviews at all. I see the film and judge for myself. In fact, I liked a lot of films that critics had written off (giggles). I think, there are audiences for every kind of cinema today. I know for sure I don't watch a movie based on a review," she said. What's there in the armor of critics to counter Shruti's criticism is to be seen now!

Highlights @ 'Gabbar Singh' Audio Release

Much awaited movie of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan 'Gabbar Singh' has its music out today. Mega brothers, Chiru, Nagababu and Sreenu vytla, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Brahmanandam, Ali, Devisri Prasad, Shyamprasad Reddy, Bhaskarbhatla, Chandrabose, Abhimanyu Singh and other have attended the event. Powerstar and heroine Sruthi Hasan have stood as a special attraction along with producer Ganesh and director Harish Shankar.
First CD of the movie is released by Megastar and handed it over to Powerstar.
Opening the function, Srinu Vaitla stated that he is waiting from the beginning of his career as a director to direct Pawan Kalyan. 'I hope he'll give me that chance soon', said Vaitla in a pleasing tone.
Director Harish Shankar states the Pawan Kalyan is an abode of honesty. 'As his mad fan since times of Kushi and Toliprema, I'm much excited to direct him now', he says. He concludes that Gabbar Singh is going to be a stupendous treat for Mega fans.
As usual, producer Ganesh became emotional while talking about Pawan and explained how the mega hero has offered him this movie when 'Teenmaar' result toppled.

The attention grabber of this whole function is none other than young music icon Devi Sri Prasad. He enthralled the audiences with his live drum playing along with his team of professional musicians. Along with dancers, DSP danced to 'Pilla Pilla' song shaking the audiences with his interesting dance moves.

Dressed in a shining pink saree, Shruti Hassan became a spot of glamour in the star studded event. Her speech in complete Telugu has awestruck many on-lookers and fans. 'Gabbar Singh is the biggest movie for my career. Though I'm nervous initially, Pawan sir's down to earth nature filled a lot of confidence in me', she said, before wishing the unit a big success.
Speaking at the function, Megastar Chiru stated that 'Gabbar Singh will do double racha and will be kevvu-keka for fans'. 'Without fans and acting career, our whole lives would have been wasted. We'll do the kind of movies that fans demand', said Chiru. He admired Pawan for finding a producer like Bandla Ganesh who gives his life for the sake of his hero. Chiru praised Devisri that he is an energetic music director and revealed how he controlled himself by not coming onto stage for dancing to those beats. He conveyed his best wishes to the whole unit of 'Gabbar Singh'.
Overwhelmed with the affection his brother shown and excitement of fans, Pawan limited himself to a short speech. 'I've not anticipated such claps and whistle for me as I thought that they all belong to Annayya', he said.
