Logic Behind 1800 Theatres Of 'Oosaravelli'
Logic is there are many countries like Australia, US, UK, Africa, Gulf and other countries worldwide wherein the rights have been bought, so it is impossible to count by number. For example, ‘Dookudu’ released in 21 theatres in north India and it is heard that producers also didn’t know for three days.
In AP state ‘Dookudu’ touched 617 while ‘Oosaravelli’ touched 620. And with places like Bangalore, Mysore, Gulbarga, Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Cochin also screening the film, who can give the exact count. On the other hand, the multiplexes give the count on the basis of screenings. Some theatres only have 1 show, can that be counted.
Some theatres in other states and countries count 4 shows as 4 screens. So, it is hard to give the count exactly. Once rights are sold it is upto the distributors to release in how many theatres they want. Finally, whatever count they give tends to get recorded. So, maybe the exact count within Andhra Pradesh is possible but giving overall count in exact numbers is not.
Has NTR Used Tamannah Physically??
After watching ‘Oosaravelli’, whether anyone has liked anything or not, one thing seems to have connected with them strongly.
In the film, Tamannah offers Rs 1 crore to NTR to kill the killers of her brother, sister-in-law and their kids. But along with that, she gives another offer as well.
Tamannah requests NTR to use her physically if required. In the entire film, this is one dialogue youth are liking a lot. Only after Tamannah says she can be used, NTR takes the ‘Supari’ in ‘Oosaravelli’.Sonia Secret Night With Mahesh Babu
In ‘Dookudu’, Sonia has the scene where she mentions in phone that she is getting tempted looking at Mahesh not knowing he is Telugu. That scene worked well as comedy. However, sources say she had that same temptation off the screen too.
Unit members reveal “Sonia was asking Mahesh ‘I want to kiss you once please please’. After a point, it came to the stage of begging. After a lot of begging, Mahesh finally said okay. And the thing to note is he didn’t go forward after Sonia kissed him. Usually, others will not leave this chance but with Mahesh it is different. Anyways, Sonia satisfied her happiness by kissing Mahesh.” The final twist is, many friends of Sonia are feeling jealous about her lucky chance.
NTR Imitating Mahesh Babu
Also, he has changed his styling and is giving a laidback performance. But many are saying that according to his image and energy levels, if he does it with emotional adrenalin only then it gives a perfect impact. By underplaying his role, public is not getting what they want from NTR.
Many are now saying “NTR seems to be imitating Mahesh Babu by going soft in his expressions and body language. But by doing so, he is doing a mistake. Mahesh has a class appeal but NTR has got strong impact with the masses. It is important that he raises his energy levels and ups the intensity quotient. Otherwise, it will become hard for the audience to connect. Earlier, his performance used to cover up for any flaws in the story or scripting but now those flaws are becoming visible.” Hope Young Tiger is realizing that.
Dookudu Remake Rights in Namrata purse?
Namrata took the initiative and contacted Bodyguard producer Atul Agnihotri, who is brother in law of Salman Khan. She had talks with Salman Khan's sister Alvira and she is expected to come to Hyderabad to seal a deal. A bollywood website stated that Alvira would meet Namrata about the Dookudu remake rights deal.
Why is Namrata dealing with this when there are three producers for Dookudu apart from Mahesh's brother Ramesh Babu as presenter? Looks like Mahesh Babu took away the Hindi remake rights of this film in addition to his regular remuneration. Working with fairly new producers will earn you extra bucks sometimes, aha!
Venkatesh voice over for Rajamouli Eega
The latest addition to Eega is Venaktesh! The superstar will give voice over for this film. Samantha, Nani and Sudeep are playing lead roles in this film which has a graphically created Housefly (eega) as the principal character.
Suresh Babu is presenting this film and hence he roped in his brother to add the star attraction for this movie. Eega started off as a medium budget film but the estimated amount has been almost doubled now says the buzz. Once again Rajamouli has to show how big his brand name can sell to make this film a commercial hit.
Naga Chaitanya Macho Look
We have seen him turning a laughing stock in Dhada where he did a larger than life role. With all the negative feedback, Naga Chaitanya is now working out vigorously to look macho. There won't be much change in his physique in his immediate release Bejawada but there will be a considerable change in the way he looks in Autonagar Surya.
There is a huge difference in his physique now which shows that all the work outs are paying off. However, the boyish charm in his face is still there which would take some time to vanish. Actor Nitin also faced similar problem when he wanted to shift his image to a mass hero from lover boy. Nitin is still facing the problem and we should wait and see if Naga Chaitanya can shed off those 'pilla' looks in the near future.
Oosaravelli breaks Dookudu first day record
Although the makers of Oosaravelli announced that this film has collected around 16 crore gross on its first day, the film has really collected a worth share of over 7.5 crore on first day which is so much more than Dookudu actual first day share. We have to wait and see if Oosaravelli can beat Dookudu first week record or not. Oosaravelli opened to mixed response and the talk is ranging from flop to average in various areas. So it will be a huge task for the film to sustain the collection flow from Monday.
Katrina Kaif Rejected 20Cr Offer
Buzz is that Katrina was approached by the big producer Vashu Bhagnani for a new movie and the offer was Rs 20 crores. Kats was asked to pair up with Jackky Bhagnani, son of Vashu, and his career has been in doldrums right from the start. This deal was being done through director Rajkumar Santoshi, as per sources.
However, it is heard that Kats has declined the offer for obvious reasons. While all this is one side, those who heard this say "Rs 20 crores and all is trash. No heroine can be given so much. Maybe Katrina was approached for the film with a high remuneration but Rs 20 crores is impossible. This is just fake." Only time will tell that.
High Expectations on Pawan Kalyan 'Panja'
Pawan Kalyan's Panjaa will be the next release from mega camp and the fans are insisting on a very huge release. They wanted this film to release in record number of screens. They are desperate to show who is the king to other heroes fans. Already the first look posters of this film are a big hit among the fans.
The producers of Panjaa say that this film would be a treat to everyone. Director Vishnu Vardhan has a unique style of presenting his hero and this film would show a new Pawan altogether. Pawan Kalyan proved his power at the box office particularly with mass films and Panjaa should follow the suit.
Salman Khan is doing Dookudu remake
Finally the cat is out of the bag as Salman Khan Okayed to do the Hindi remake of Dookudu. Atul Agnihotri, who produced Salman’s Bodyguard, will be the producer of this movie. Salman’s sister Alvira is expected to fly down to Hyderabad to seal the deal.
It is reported by the Bollywood media that Mahesh Babu himself recommended this film to Salman Khan as he felt that he would do justice to this script. Mahesh’s wife Namrata is in talks with Alvira regarding this deal.
Rajamouli condemns Mega rumors
Rajamouli quickly responded to these rumors and has put an end to them saying that he is not directing Chiranjeevi. He said that his next movie after Eega would be with Prabhas. “News bout Chiranjeevi Garu offering me to direct his 150th film are completely false.my next film after eega is with Prabhas,” Rajamouli stated.
So the doubts over Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie director are still on and there is no one zeroed in at the moment. Chiranjeevi and his camp are waiting to rope in the best for this movie as it would be the prestigious ever film in Tollywood history.
Mahesh Should Commit Suicide
Well, we are talking about the ‘Be A Star’ program which has begun coming in the TV9 channel. The concept of the program is to pick up look alikes (!) of stars from the common people and then he will be given makeover, costumes and styling. Finally, he would be decked up as close as possible to the star.
It is heard that they will make a big poster and hoarding and put it at city center mall with a poster launch in front of parents. The posters will eventually be placed at other places too. Recently, one such episode took place and the boy in focus was supposedly a look alike of Mahesh Babu. However, the talk is that after all the styling and other drama, the posters to be launched is done using morphing method.
Those who saw this program are saying “TV9 is literally playing with middle class people purely for TRP. This is a news channel why are they doing something like a reality show in it.” Only TV9 can answer that.
'Dookudu' Producers Wish 'Oosaravelli' To Go Hit
A close friend of the producers revealed “Anil and his group said that if ‘Oosaravelli’ becomes a hit, it is a good thing for Tollywood. It is not necessary that because ‘Oosaravelli’ is a hit ‘Dookudu’ will not be seen. Public will see both. Earlier, 4-5 films used to come during festivals and they used to see all.”
He added “The audience doesn’t make comparisons. If there is more than one film release, they will see the better one first. So, that way there were wholehearted wishes from ‘Dookudu’ producers for ‘Oosaravelli’ to score a hit. And if it scores success, then it will be a satisfying Dussehra for Tollywood.”
