Those who saw the film said “Rohit has a good screen presence and the advantage for him is his voice. Moreover, he has that sharp and intense look which is a rare feature among actors. So, he should try and mould his image towards getting into hardcore action treats and serious films.”

Colors Swathi making new debut

Though it has been quite a while she came out of a TV program, her impact was so strong that till date, she is remembered by that name. We are talking about the big eyed girl Swathi fondly known as Colors Papa after her show 'Colors'. Now, Swathi has graduated to become a heroine.

Though she is a Telugu girl, Swathi has been making her presence felt strongly in other languages. Now, it is heard that she is all set to make her debut in Mollywood. Buzz is that she would be seen in a Malayalam film titled Amen and this is being directed by the noted Lijo Jose Pellissery.

Abhinaya to play NTR's Sister in Dammu

Abhinaya, the girl who mesmerized everyone with her stunning performance in the film 'Shambo Shiva Shambo', is all set to share screen space with young tiger NTR in Dammu. She is playing the role of NTR's sister. As reported earlier, Hero Venu will be seen as NTR's brother-in-law and husband to Abhinaya in this power packed action entertainer directed by Boyapati Seenu.

What is so special about Abhinaya? Although Abhinaya is deaf and dumb by berth she breaths life into the characters who can hear and speak. She shot to fame after winning the Miss Beautiful skin and People's Choice Award titles in Kerala. Her film debut happened with Tamil film Nadodigal ('Shambo Shiva Shambo' in Telugu). Ashwini Dutt Mega project with Ram Charan

Ace producer Ashwini Dutt is all set to produce Ram Charan-Sinu Vytla's combo flick under Vyjayanthi Movies banner. This film might go to the floors in the second half of 2012. By that time, both Ram Charan and Sinu Vytla will be done with their prior commitments.

Ram Charan is currently shooting for 'Racha' which will be released on February 17th. After wrapping up Racha, Charan will join the shoot of both Vamsi Paidipally-Dil Raju's film and VV Vinayak's film. His film with Sinu Vytla will be launched after the completion of these three projects. In the meantime, Sinu Vytla will wrap up the shooting of his untitled film with NTR Jr.
Reports say that Ram Charan's film with Ashwini Dutt will be a sequel to Chiru's blockbuster 'Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari'.
"Even after 2 decades, film lovers were unable to forget 'Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari'. We are planning to come up with a sequel featuring Ram Charan in the lead. we will make an announcement soon," said Ashwini Dutt few months back, when quizzed about the sequel to the classic.
If everything falls in place Sridevi's daughter Jahnavi will make her debut in Tollywood with this film. For now let's hope for the best!!!

Bollywood Young Heroine In Mahesh-krish's Sivam!!!

It was earlier reported that director Krish will direct a movie with Super Star Mahesh Babu which is tentatively titled as Sivam. Now the latest news is that the Mahesh would romance with three heroines in this movie. However, the names of the heroines are not yet confirmed by makers
But the buzz says that Kajal Agarwal would be one among them. At present Kajal is working with Mahesh in Businessman, which is also planned to remake in Hindi with same lead cast.

Sources also says that Krish is considering Bollywood young heroine for another heroine. Sonam Kapoor and Anushka Sharma names are in consideration. But this is also not confirmed
This would be a commercial entertainer with Krish mark. The shooting of the film will be launched officially on 9th August 2012. Ace producer Ashwini Dutt will produce this movie under his Vyjayanthi Movies banner.MM Keeravani will score the music for this film.

Mahesh Babu and director Krish movie shooting would start from Mahesh Babu’s birthday – August 9, 2012. The latest report on this Mahesh Babu and Krish movie is that the shooting would commence on Mahesh’s birthday after the latter completes filming for Sukumar’s movie. Sources say that the movie’s genre would be a socio-fantasy one, something that Mahesh Babu has never touched so far. Further, the story would be in the backdrop of 3 generations before. Huge Mishap in NTR Dammu Shooting

Young tiger Jr NTR’s Dammu movie is currently undergoing shoot in Pollachi. The unit is canning canon blasting action scenes in Pollachi today. However, the shooting was cancelled and was postponed to December 3 due to a huge mishap. The shooting was taking place near a river and one of the production boys got into the river to set right the camera angle or something. Suddenly with the flow of water intensifying, the boy drowned in the river while fixing the camera. A search was conducted by the unit but they could not trace him. Worst - No one knows about the poor boy’s whereabouts. Eventually, the movie unit silently escaped from the scene. Dammu movie is directed by Boyapati Seenu.

Buzz Is Bejawada @ Rakta Charitra 3 ?

Akkineni fans are having lot of hopes on Bejawada to give Naga Chaitanya a career turning hit like Shiva did for Nagarjuna. But the buzz on this movie is not in favor of the fans expectations. Industry circles say that Bejawada is a violent movie with lots of bloodshed.

As per the early reports, Bejawada's first half is Okay but second half is heavy with too much gore and violence. We have seen Rakta Charitra movie which glorified the violence, which didn't go down well with the audience. Bejawada is riding on high expectations and it will definitely open big at the box office.
Will it hold its ground from the second week is to be seen? Besides Bejawada will face tough competition from Pawan Kalyan's Panjaa, which is slated for release on Dec 9th. Bejawada movie lacks comedy and good music and therefore its fate will depend on how the masses connect with the emotional part and high voltage blood filled action.

YS Jagan to grace Businessman audio launch

If sources are to be believed, YS Jaganmohan Reddy who is the most successful Businessman during YSR's tenure as CM will be attending the audio launch of superstar Mahesh Babu's 'Businessman' as Chief Guest on December 23rd.
Who chalked out plans for bringing Mahesh Babu and YS Jagan together on one stage is a million dollar question now, as there seems to be possibilities from different courters(Producers Side-Director's Side-Hero's Side).

The makers of 'The Businessman', Venkat Reddy & Co., are said to be close to the Kadapa parliamentarian. Even, director Puri Jagannath maintained a good relationship with YS Jagan. Their bonding happened since the time Puri announced a biopic of late YSR. Unfortunately, the film didn't go to the floors. But that didn't stop them from getting in touch with eachother. Recently, YS Jagan was spotted at the half saree function of Puri's Daughter. As we all know, Superstar Krishna is a staunch supporter of YSR. He even withdrawed support to his parent party Congress to stand beside YS Jagan.

Story

Dhanush is the pivot around whom the whole story revolves. Karthik (Dhanush) is a freelance photographer who lives life his own way. He does work hard and wants to leave a mark as an photographer. Though he does portfolio and weddings, his pasion is wildlife photography. His only desire in life is to work with Madhesh Krishnaswamy (Ravi Prasad), a world renowned wildlife photographer. 

Karthik prefers to spend his time with his close buddie Sundar (Sundar) and their gang have a gala time. One fine day, Kartik is introduced to Yamini (Richa), Sundar's girlfriend. Kartik and Yamini turns cat and mouse and often end up quarreling. But call it fate, Yamini is slowly attracted towards Kartik. There begins a different journey in the lives of these three people.  What happens then forms the rest.

Performance

Its straightaway a Dhanush special. The National award winning actor has proved that he can do any role with ease. His expressions and body language  are the hallmark of the movie. Selvaraghavan has understood the strength of Dhanush and played it well.

Richa is a Revelation. She brings right emotions and has a meaty role to play. Sundar walks away with honours and does chip in with his best.All the erst of the characters add pep to the proceedings.

Analysis

It is more a take off of Kadhal Kondein, but narrated in a different way. Selvaraghavan knows the pulse of youngsters and gives one to suit their tastes. With a seasoned campaigner like Dhanush by his side, he has gone gaga. All said Mayakkam ENna is a perfect one for youths.

Finally: Mayakkam Enna is a treat for youngsters.

Story:
Gowtham (Rohith) is an orphan, who dreams of having his own family. Gowtham feels that if he marries a girl from a big family then he could have all the relatives. So he tries his best to find one such girl. He falls for Vaishnavi (Nisha) as she has everything that he is looking for. She is the daughter of Raghupathi (Prakash Raj), who wants his daughter to marry a man from a joint family. He rejects Gowtham as he is an orphan. The love pair got separated. How do they convince Raghupathi is the rest of the story.
Performances:
Rohith is rigid. He couldn’t emote well. His diction and screen presence is good. But he should concentrate on his expressions to be in business. Nisha Agarwal’s performance is not convincing. She should also work on her expressions. Prakash Raj is perfect as heroine’s father. He steals the show. Jayasudha is fine. Srinivasa Reddy is entertaining. Ali is alright. Sayaji Shinde  and others did their bit.

Analysis:
Solo film has a simple story. Director Parashuram penned down a solid screenplay to narrate this simple point like his guru Puri Jagannadh. The film’s flow until interval point is smooth. The takeoff is good in the second half too. But the film’s color changes all of a sudden.
Until interval it is an entertaining story with ample fun. When the hero’s character takes a U turn, the mood of the film too has changed big time. Although it is understandable, few may not like the sudden shift. Director should have tried to include some funny characters in the marriage atmosphere without changing the mood of the hero. So that it would have pleased the audiences that look for comedy throughout the film.

On a whole, the mood of the film is alright. This story has to be dealt this way. There is nothing wrong in the approach of the director. Instead of being vocal all the time, he should have tried to show the pain of the protagonist visually. Saying so, we should admit that the dialogues are pretty good.
Solo is being promoted as an entertaining love story. But it is actually an emotional love story blended with some amount of comedy. The makers of the film should immediately focus on the publicity and packaging!

Is Pawan-Mahesh hit Sentiment Works?

Film Industry is the place where sentiments often play a key role. The last few days have been abuzz with the news of Mahesh Babu-Siddharth (Pokiri-Bommarillu) hit sentiment. Luckily, Oh My Friend turned out to be a decent hit at the Box Office to end Siddharth's flop streak and also gave strength to his sentiment with Mahesh's hit films (Dookudu).

As the much awaited film of the year 'Panjaa' is gearing up for release, a new sentiment has surfaced.
Pawan Kalyan-Mahesh Babu hit sentiment: "Mahesh Babu reprised the role of police in Pokiri which went on to become a hit - Brahmi played Pranav(police) in Pawan's film Jalsa, which is a hit. And now Mahesh has done police character in Dookudu to start the success streak - Brahmi is playing a police role 'Paparayudu' in Panjaa and this film will be a hit," says Ragu, a die-hard fan of Pawan.
Whether we should call it a Pawan- Mahesh hit sentiment (or) Mahesh-Brahmi hit sentiment? Whatever it may be, the fans of Powerstar are expecting the magic to repeat again with 'Panjaa'. Though the logic behind it looks funny, only Panjaa's success at the Box Office will give strength to this sentiment. Let's hope Panjaa rocks!!!
