Story:
Ranga (Sunil), a real estate broker from Hyderabad buys a 30 acre land in Parkal village. Ranga reaches Parkal and join his childhood friend Vasu (Ali) learns the complexity behind selling the land. Two rival leaders from the samel village, Konda Reddy (Dev Gill) and Lala Goud ( Pradeep Rawat), are adamant on buying the land themselves as a prestige issue.
Both Ranga and Vasu figure it out the only way they could sell the land is by convincing both the rival leaders. Circumstances forces Ranga to join as henchman in Konda Reddy group. By staying in Konda Reddy group, Ranga tries to woo Anitha (Isha Chawla), daughter of Lala Goud so that she will help him in his mission.
The story takes different twists and turns before ending on a happy note.
Performance:
Ranga is just a tailor made role for Sunil. He justified it with perfection. His six pack body is terrific and needs applause for his hard work. One more highlight is his dancing skills.
Isha Chawla suited well for the role. Her selection as heroine is justified. Her acting skills and dancing skills are good.
Dev Gill, Pradeep Rawat and Pragathi acted well in their respective roles. Kota and Sudha are limited to couple of scenes. Ali, Rajesh and Raghu Babu excelled in comedy scenes. Duvvasi Mohan and Dhanraj are enjoyable.
Technical:
Director Veera Bhadram should be commended for choosing the right script for comedian turned hero Sunil. He perfectly handled the script and screenplay with enough twists and turns. He utilised every comedian to the perfect and maintained the entertaining levels throughout movie.
Anup Rubens music is good. Background score is above par. Prasad Murella cinematography is good. Sridhar Seepana dialogues are highlight. Goutham Raju editing is crisp.Production values are high.
Analysis:
'Poola Rangadu' movie is a wholesome entertainer what audience expects from Sunil movie. Director concentrated on Sunil strengths which are comedy and dances and weaved the screenplay around him. Director preserved the Sunil six pack curiosity till the climax and revealed it with perfect base. There are hardly any dull moments in the movie.
Finally: it is a colourful entertainer which can be watched by whole family.

RamCharan @ Angry On His Fans!!

Star heroes and the frenzy that the fans have for them needs no introduction. And Ram Charan Tej is one lad who enjoys a lot of that. However, there are times when fans tend to overdo few things much to the discomfort of their stars. Right now, it is heard that Charan is little miffed with his fans for something.
Apparently, fans have been coming up with new designs for the title of his film ‘Rachcha’ and putting it on internet. Few sections of the media is thinking it is the real thing given by the makers of the film and they are circulating it across their fraternity.
Not stopping at that, the fans are also doing something similar by creating few trailers, first songs etc using their creativity. It is heard that Charan does not like it at all. He feels that the real branding of ‘Rachcha’ will get spoiled if such fake creations are not good. It also tends to mislead the regular audience and the media circles. Wonder what the fans have to say to this.

'Kolaveri' Concert @ disappoints Dhanush!!

It was a disappointing night for Dhanush's fans. 'Kolaveri Di' concert, which was supposed to drive the Bengaluru audience crazy on February 12, tested the patience of the people, who were forced to wait for the actor's arrival with bated breath for close to three hours. The show organisers' poor management created the mess, which has upset the son-in-law of Rajinikanth.
Dhanush, who repeatedly kept telling that his performance could last only for 10 minutes on Twitter, on landing the stage realised that it was promoted as 'Kolaveri' concert by the organisers. As he said before, he entertained the audience for 10 minutes but the people were unhappy and obviously disappointed with the 'Kolaveri di...' hitmaker's blink and miss appearance.
Now, the actor has claimed that he did not know how the organisers had planned it. It was a miscommunication between his team and the event organisers, which lead to chaos, and he takes the blame for it. However, the 28-year-old believes that he was thrilled with the audience response and he thoroughly enjoyed the performance. Dhanush hopes the audience were also happy with it.
What The Organisers Say...
We hear that the organisers have pointed their fingers at the Kannada film industry. Zubair Akhtar, one of the organisers, has told a leading daily that it was due to the pressure and threats from the Sandalwood, they asked Dhanush to perform for only 10 minutes. In a bid to avoid troubles, they took the safe route.

Ajith’s Billa 2 @ Audio in final mix stage!!

Ajith starrer Billa 2 is almost done with the composition of audio and final mixing is going on and is gearing up to hit the screens on May 1st.
Billa 2 is being canned in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad by cinematographer RD Rajasekhar, due to the war between FEFSI and TFPC. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has confirmed that all the tracks are tuned and “Billa 2 audio is on final mix stage.”
The makers of Billa 2 are trying to wrap up the shooting and are planning to release Billa 2 on 1st May, on the occasion of Thala Ajith’s birthday. Billa 2 casts Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah, Prabhu, Rahman, Sriman, Jayaram and Vidyut Jamwal in the cast.

It's not very far before young tiger NTR shows his Dammu. As fans are waiting to see NTR in full swing one heroine has seen all of it already. Yes, Trisha is struggling to match NTR in ongoing song shooting in Pollachi. Director is shooting a full mass song on NTR and Trisha.Trisha has never been a good dancer that's showing up now as she tries to catch up arguably the best dancer in Tollywood.
As usual Junior is easing through the steps composed by choreographer but Trisha is finding it very tough to get synchronization right with Tarak. Unsatisfied with this the director is calling for several retakes in hot weather of Pollachi. "Trisha is working hard to get her steps right. Because of very hot conditions her skin is getting darker and she is sweating a lot. This will be the best song in the movie" said a unit member.
He added that NTR is making sure that Trisha gets the enough time so that song comes out well.NTR is appearing in a different look in the movie. He is essaying duel role out of which one as Powerful police officer and other one as terrific faction leader. Dammu has been making quite a lot of buzz for being a rocking mass entertainer. Looking at the way Trisha has been praising the film, it certainly looks like this NTR-Trisha jodi is going to rock this summer.

Mahesh Babu @ Joins SVSC Shoot!!

Super Star Mahesh Babu joins the shoot of his new movie Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu yesterday. Currently, a chase is being shot on Mahesh and Ravi Babu in Kutralam, Tamil Nadu. Recently, Mahesh returned to Hyderabad after wrapping up Thums Up Ad commercial in Bangkok. This schedule will commence for 15 days and the unit will move to RFC, Hyderabad in March to shoot important scenes on the lead cast in a specially erected set. Venkatesh, the other hero of SVSC will join the shoot from Feb 19. Samantha and Anjali are playing female leads. Dil Raju is the producer and Srikanth Addala is the director. Mickey J Mayer is scoring the music.

Trisha @ Karthika is a live wire!!

Trisha seems to have grown quite fond of her co-star Karthika. Both of them are pairing up with NTR for Boyapati Srinu’s Dammu. The film is currently being shot in Pollachi and Trisha seems to be bonding quite well with her co-stars on the sets of the film. “Thanks to Karthika, this place is not so boring as usual. She’s a live wire. We keep chatting and catching up on girly things in between shots,” she told a leading Tamil website. Karthi @ To Join Milind Soman Again!!

Director Suraaj’s Alex Pandian starring Karthi in the lead role will have Milind Soman playing the villain.
This is Milind Soman’s second film with Karthi (after Paiyaa) and his fourth film in Kollywood.
Suraaj says, 'We needed two villains. While Suman plays one, Milind plays the other. Both the roles are of equal importance and are pivotal to the script. He was signed on during our previous schedule in Vizag. He shot with us for a few days during that schedule too.'

Cracked 'Friday' with misfired Crackers!

Both NIPPU and LOVE FAILURE have failed to get the deserved attention while the reviews for them are opposite. Tollywood is still struggling to make decent business even after BUSINESSMAN is taking an exit route! Check out the story now.
Apparently, the start of this weekend has witnessed to dull films is the talk. NIPPU and LOVE FAILURE are the prime contenders for this Friday, which haven't created any sorts of sensation. Principal witness for this is the relatively low turnout of people at theatres. LOVE FAILURE may not come as a wash-out for Siddharth, but NIPPU is an eye-opener for RaviTeja, especially. Signing projects for the craze of combination and remuneration will lead to fizzling crackers that make no sound and light. All shouts of YVS Chowdary and huge hyped pre-released promotion are slowly reducing to ashes with NIPPU unable to cope up expectations.
On the other hand, even though there is no mistake in the content of Sid's flick, the movie lacks 'commercial ability' to ring cash registers. Art films are never a hit in Tollywood until unless they satisfy audience beyond their imagination. With most cinema houses not filled to capacity and fans keeping low in a shock, this Friday's business remained cracked. Ultimately, the crackers misfired!

RamCharan @ Follows Mahesh Babu??

Scoring a commercial blockbuster with a below average film is not a difficult task. Recently Businessman proved the fact that a stunning opening could fetch a super hit irrespective of the content. Despite being slowed down drastically after couple of weeks, Businessman made it to the all time top 5 list of Tollywood.
Businessman's theory was an open secret. They targeted a wide release and hyped the film to the maximum they could. A chartbuster song and Dookudu success added to the hype and Businessman made the maximum of Pongal weekend. The film collected a record opening week share and made it clear that no one would lose money on it.
Now Ram Charan is going to apply the same theory for Racha. He has given clear instructions to the producers to aim for the biggest release ever. Charan is planning for an aggressive promotional campaign to get the necessary hype. That is the reason why they are planning to launch the audio on a grand scale. If Racha manages to get as many theaters as Businessman, will it be able to break the first week record? Only time will tell.

Nithin @ In Love With Nithya Menon???

When a youthful romantic entertainer is being canned, it is obvious that the hero and heroine tend to share a lot of chemistry to get the right emotion and feel before the camera. However, there are times when that attraction factor crosses beyond the camera and gets into the real life.

Indian Cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who is ongoing chemotherapy for malignant tumor in lung in US, has been responding exceedingly well to the treatment.
The left-handed cricketer was being treated at the Boston Institute of Cancer Research in United States and completed the first cycle of the treatment.
"Got very good news from Dr lawrence today! The tumor is almost way out of the system After reading my todays scan! Second cycle has started," tweeted Yuvraj Singh Yesterday.
It may be recalled that Yuvraj has gone bald for the treatment and had also posted the pic on Twitter. The chemotherapy will come to an end by march end and rehabilitation process would start in April. Let's hope he wears the Indian Jersey in June as promised by the doctors who were treating him!

All his recent films had run because of his dynamism and energy but not due to the content in it. The energetic hero makes sure this time that he wants 'content' to support him, else he will end up tousled.
With NIPPU garnering a negative talk at the BO on day one itself, the exact stand of Raviteja is not understood. A mass-hero of such astonishing image is not expected reprising such old-wine stories. But this time, the equations have changed and Ravi too altered his mindset to not go beyond for a movie. Looks like, this is the prime reason behind his nil presence to promote NIPPU. When his movie NIPPU is releasing grandly, Ravi is busy in the launching function of his new movie with Puri Jagan. Rather checking the talk and first-day reports of it, RaviTeja is all excited to start the work of Puri Jagan's latest movie DEVUDU CHESINA MANUSHULU.
People are saying that a hero like RaviTeja should always try to bail out producer from the debacle by constantly promoting the movie, though it is a flop. But, leaving the movie to the bin, once it is completed, will put him on the edge of desertion slowly.

Vikram-Anushka @ Sizzle Onscreen!!

The Vikram-Vijay-Anushka combo, which is teaming up once again for Thaandavam, has garnered a lot of attention of late. Talking about Vikram’s look, Vijay says, “You will see a spirited, youthful and robust looking Chiyaan in Thaandavam. The hardcore professional that he is, he even shed a few kilos within weeks when I told him I needed that lean and youthful look.”
The unit of Thaandavam was in New Delhi recently, to can a few important scenes and a song. A romantic melody number that goes Oru Paadhi Kanavu Neeyadi — in Muthukumar’s lines and G.V. Prakash’s composition, was shot on Anushka and Vikram for three days with the Taj Mahal as the backdrop.
“Though it was a subtle, melodious and romantic number, the onscreen chemistry between Vikram and Anushka was terrific,” mused one of the unit members who was present at the location. “Both Anushka and Amy have equal footage in the film.”
He adds, “We are waiting for the strike to get over in K’town so that we can start our second schedule in Chennai. The flashback portions are being shot here.
After completing this, the entire cast and crew will fly to the US where a major chunk of the story takes place,” explains Dhananjayan of the UTV banner that is producing the film.

Stylish star Allu Arjun is going to join the club of 30 crores through his latest movie in the direction of Trivikram, as far as the pre release businesses are concerned. His latest offering's theatrical rights for entire A.P. was bought by Dasari Narayana Rao's Siri Media for a whopping amount Rs.23 crores. If the rights of Karnataka, Kerala, other states and Overseas are added, his movie can easily cross the pre release mark of 30 crores.
Earlier, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Komaram Puli', 'Teenmaar' and 'Panjaa' movies crossed the mark of 30 crores pre release business. Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu @ 1st Week Collections Rs 42.17 Cr

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, which features Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the leads, has concluded the first week with a decent amount of collection. The Karan Johar produced movie has raked in approximately Rs 42.17 crores nett at the world wide Box Office in the opening week.
The Bollywood movie had collected Rs 21.25 crores at the domestic Box Office in the first weekend. Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu has added another Rs 11.50 crores nett to its total collection Rs 32.75 crores nett. The break of the figures is Rs 5.25 cr on Friday, Rs 7.5 cr on Saturday, Rs 8.5 cr on Sunday, Rs 2.75 cr on Monday, Rs 4.75 cr on Tuesday, Rs 2.1 cr on Wednesday, Rs 1.9 cr on Thursday.
Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu also had a decent opening at the international Box Office. The movie has grossed approximately Rs 9.42 crores nett in the collection centres in five foreign counties. It has collected Rs 5 crores from 111 screens in USA, Rs 3.31 crores from 53 screens in UK, Rs 81.21 lacs from 15 screens in Australia, Rs 21.30 lacs from five screens in New Zealand and Rs 8.73 lacs from two screens in Fiji.
The makers of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu are very happy with its performance at the Box Office. However, the movie, which had everything going its way, was expected to cross 50 crore mark at the worldwide Box Office.

No Mega Star @ In PowerStar's Gabbar Singh!!!

The final talk of MegaStar's presence in PowerStar's GABBAR SINGH movie is out now. Officially, there is no good-news for MegaFans who are waiting for that auspicious day of watching their 'legend' once again.
Fans enjoyed the news of MegaStar Chiranjeevi's two minute cameo in the upcoming movie of PowerStar Pawan Kalyan. But, all their happiness is ruled out with a person from Mega Camp confirming that the actor is not doing any such. When contacted, the producers of the movie also confirmed that MegaStar is not acting in any such thing and he is quite occupied with his 'politics'.
Earlier, there were gossips that MegaStar is going to be seen in a song where both the brothers will share the spotlight for a dance movement. Charan-Bunny @ Putting Check To Mahesh??

Right now, Mahesh Babu seems to be unstoppable and invincible at the Tollywood box office. His films have been scoring crazy hits and his future projects look even more promising. But then, this success streak may soon be finding a tough opposition and challenge. It is in form of a Bava-Bavamaridi.
Well, we are talking about the duo of Ram Charan and Allu Arjun. As such, Ram Charan’s ‘Rachcha’ audio has been sold for Rs 1 crore. On the other hand, it is heard that the Allu Arjun-Trivikram Srinivas film has gone for an outright sale of Rs 25 crores. This was bought by Siri Media, as per sources.
Many say if Dasari Narayana Rao has pumped so much money then he would not do it unless he is 200% sure about the product. On the other hand, there is also the Trivikram brand value. Overall, it looks like both Bava-Bavamaridhi will rule the roost in 2012. They will put a check on Mahesh. Let us hope they do. Only then some healthy competition will emerge and efficiency of stars and films will increase. This will also put Mahesh on an alert mode.

Story:
Surya (Raviteja) and Sriram (Sriram) are close friends. Sriram faces death sentence in Saudi Arabia, as they believe that he has killed his lover Vaishnavi (Bhavana). But the fact is Vaishnavi accidentally dies by falling from the roof top. Now Surya has a task on hands.
He has to get a letter from Vaishnavi’s parents to save his friend from death sentence. Surya comes to know that Vaishnavi is the daughter of Raja Goud (Pradeep Rawath), who has been waiting to take revenge on Surya as he rubbed him on the wrong side. Surya realizes that convincing Raja to sign the papers is not easy.
There is another person who is against Raja. He is Shankar Kaka (Mukul Dev). Surya join hands with him and gives a deadly blow to Raja. What happens next is the rest of the story.

Performances:
Ever energetic Raviteja looked uninterested in this movie. He simply sleep walked through the character. His usual brand of comic timing is missing too. At times he tried his best to lift the spirits. His combination scenes with Brahmanandam are okay to some extent.
Deesksha Seth is cute. But she needs to learn how to act. She failed to get the basic expressions right which is not a good sign for an upcoming actress. Rajendra Prasad is fine in his limited role. Sriram is just okay. Pradeep Rawath is usual. Brahmanandam’s presence is felt. Mukul Dev is alright. Brahmaji and others did their best as per the script and characterizations.

Highlights:

Drawbacks:

1. Weak screenplay
2. Outdated fights
3. Slow pace

Finally: Nippu is a routine film with too many fights and weak script. Only Raviteja is the saving grace and it is highly doubtful for him to save this film from sinking at the box office.

Ileana Confirms @ Rejecting Pawan Kalyan's MB!!

The reports of Ileana refusing to do the item number 'Munni Badnaam' in Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh, despite offering a huge pay package of Rs 70 lakhs has created flutters in the Industry.
Confirming the reports, Ileana said,"It's true that I'm not ready yet for the Item Numbers down South. In Bollywood, A-list Actors show keen interest to shake their leg in the dance numbers because the entire set up is being done on a grand scale. Ace choreographers, world class designers, lavish sets will take the song to the next level. But, that's not the case in South."
However, the South filmmakers were not agreeing to the version of the actress. "In the last few years, we witnessed some of the Box Office wonders like Magadheera, Robo and Arundathi. All these films were made with high-technical standards. Note that Hollywood technicians were being roped for South projects, without compromising on budget issues. The South Film Industry is on par with Bollywood. The ones who feel otherwise should wake up atleast now!," said a noted director.
"A-list heroines here feel that item songs weren't for them, but the job of struggling beauties. The mind set of the South Heroines need to change. Why don't they treat the item numbers as any other performance? They should take a leaf out from the books of B-Town stars, known for making use of every opportunity to perform at award events, parties and private functions," he added.

Story
Arun (Siddarth) is a college student and it is his story of how he fell in love with Parvathi (Amala). It goes on a flashback mode rooting to how Arun meets Parvathi, how they become friends and how that friendship blooms to love. And as is the case with any love matter, there is also a breakup episode to it. However, the thing that Arun is unable to understand is, why the love failure happened. On the other hand, Parvathi has trouble at her home as her parents Arvind, Saroja (Suresh, Surekha Vani) are going through a divorce. The story takes a turn when Arun goes to Yanam and it is here he begins to introspect on his relationship. Whether that helps him in any way? What is the reason for their love failure? All this forms the rest of the story.
Performances
Siddarth has gone through this role many times so it was more like a cakewalk for him. However, the characterization didn’t expect him to deliver some gripping acts so it was quite smooth for him.
Amala Paul is a natural beauty. Her smiles and her eyes spread a lot of magic and her ease in front of the camera is appealing. She was good.
Suresh was elegant and looked well suited for the role. Surekha Vani was contained. Ravi Raghavendra was appealing. Shyam was nice. The actors who did the role of Siddarth’s friends were hilarious. Director Balaji is also seen in two scenes and makes his presence felt.
