Balakrishna to hit 100 before the big feat!

Nandamuri Balakrishna is on a mission these days. He has been doing film after film without much gap between them. He is reaching the 100 film landmark and Balakrishna has switched to top gear in signing films. He wants to complete hundred films before he takes the big step.

Balakrishna announced that he will enter politics in 2014. He will be
contesting in those elections. Therefore he has only two years left to reach the landmark as he would get busy with politics from 2014. Balakrishna doesn’t want to take a break from films after entering politics but will definitely slow down.

There is a buzz that Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna will be making his debut as an actor after five years. Nandamuri fans would be hoping that Balakrishna continues to do lead roles until Mokshagna debuts.

Count down started for Mahesh Babu 'Dookudu'

Dookudu movie starring Mahesh Babu is slated for release on September 23. This film’s shoot was wrapped up on Monday. They have canned an item song on Parvathi Melton and Mahesh Babu in the sets, which finished off the formalities. Now the countdown has started as it is just ten days away from the release.

Not only Mahesh fans but also film buffs and business circles are waiting for this film to release soon. Tollywood box office has not witnessed a star studded film for many months now. After Badrinath, this would be the film which carries huge expectations prior to the release.

Mahesh Babu is due for a hit post Pokiri and Dhookudu is expected to be the one that his fans have been waiting for. Already the audio has been creating ripples and the promotion campaign looks more than promising.

Film fraternity comes out in support of Nikita

The three year ban slapped on Nikita Thukral by Kannada Film Producers' Association (KFPA) has led to growing support for her from the film fraternity in the state, with some saying the decision was taken in a hurry.  Nikitha, reportedly admitted to a hospital in Mumbai for low blood pressure due to stress, claimed many from the industry in the South and Bollywood have come out to stand by her. "I came to know through media reports about their support for me. Lot of actors from the industry in the South and Hindi film world, including Amareesh, Tara and

Doddanna, are supporting for me," she said.

KFPA had slapped the ban on her for allegedly creating marital disharmony in the family of actor Darshan, who has been arrested for reportedly physically harassing his wife. "I don't know what to do... I need to speak to Doddanna, (Kannada Cine Artists Association Secretary)," she said when asked if she would lodge a complaint with KCAA. Nikita said she had also tried to speak to KFPA President Muniratna Naidu, but that he had not answered her call. Asked if she would fly down to Bangalore to solve the problem, she said, "I have not thought about it now." The actress had recently announced her first home production, starring Duniya Vijay and Aditya opposite her.

Both of them have voiced their support for Darshan in the past few days. Meanwhile, Kannada actress Tara, who spoke to reporters after visiting Darshan at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital for Chest Diseases, rued that KFPA "has taken the decision to ban Nikita in a hurry." "Right now KCAA President is abroad and after his return will convene a meeting and resolve the matter. It is necessary that both Kannada film producers and cine artistes get justice through talks... this is my wish," she said. Doddanna had reportedly expressed his support for Nikita, saying the association would stand by her and fight for her after she files an official complaint with them. KFPA President Munirathna Naidu had stated that the decision was taken in the light of Darshan's wife filing a police complaint naming her as responsible for the storm in her marital life. However, the allegation is yet to be ascertained.

Aamir Khan Says No to Deepika Padukone

Bollywood Perfectionist Aamir Khan has reportedly rejected Deepika Padukone's plea for the female lead of the movie 'Dhoom 3', produced by Yash Raj Films.  This news broke out in the wake of Deepika Padukone looking forward to pair up with Aamir Khan for Dhoom 3. Deepika Padukone is one of the busiest actresses in Bollywood. Despite being extremely busy in B town she agreed to star in a South film featuring superstar Rajinikanth. As per reports, Superstar Maheshbabu has completed the shooting of DOOKUDU the other day. An unit member revealed that the dubbing work of the film neared completion and same is the case with re-recording and grading. The film may hit the screens on the scheduled dates without any fail is what the makers are sure of. With no break in work, Mahesh is now shooting for the songs of Puri's upcoming BUSINESSMAN. From mid-November, he is scheduled to work for Dil Raju's banner for the prestigious Venkatesh-Mahesh multi starrer directed by Srikanth Addala. Close friends of 'prince' are saying there is no 'freedom' for him from today. Fans felt that if their star works like this for a couple of years, he will releasing almost three flicks for every two years. Hope for the best!
