Manchu @ family's biggest problem!!

Speaking about one of the most noted families of the film industry, the Manchu family has also got into limelight over the last decade or so. Given the fact that it has collection king Mohan Babu leading from the front while his children Manchu Vishnu, Manchu Manoj and Lakshmi Manchu are going full-on with their works, this family has increased in its presence.
However, it is heard that the family has been struggling from one big problem and that is migraine headache. Well, sources say the migraine has been turning out to be a teething issue for the Manchu folks. Especially, the elegant celebrity Lakshmi Manchu has been dabbling it on and off.
Friends of the family reveal how Mohan Babu a tough man himself has groomed his children to be tough physically and mentally which has helped them deal with this in a good way. But when such attacks come, they sure cause a good deal of trouble to the Manchu family members.

'Uu Kodathara..' @ Is Last Film for that Hero

One needs to understand their saturation points before proceeding to do dozens of films in the tinsel town. Struggling hero Manoj knows that better than anyone.
In fact, Manoj is not just an actor, but an action choreographer and himself a stunt master. Though we know this earlier with movies like 'Mr.Nookayya', he is proving his talent once again with 'Uu Kodathara. Ulikki Padataara'. Insiders are saying that Manoj has worked pretty hard for this movie as if this is the last film for him in the tinsel town.
The energy and enthusiasm we put in for a first film is obviously different from what we do in our last. They say that if 'Uu Kodathara..' fails to create magic for this young chap, he will stop creating magical scripts. Rather he would just listen to scripts from directors running behind him and would like to grow as a commercial hero. The trailers have created lot of buzz for this film packed with action, punch and graphics. Let's wish him best!

Balayya @ to test his Luck in New Zone

The last few days has been seeing a lot of discussion happening and this was due to the speech given by Nandamuri Balakrishna in Tamil during the function of his movie 'Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathaara'. Balayya also stated that he is willing to take up straight Tamil projects if they are offered.
Now, the big question is, will Balayya click there? Apparently, his body language and his mass image has been quite native to the Telugu masses. Though his dialogue delivery is quite strong onscreen, Balayya has always been heckled for his speeches offscreen which are rather rumbling.
Moreover, the Tamil audience looks for earthy actors and not for those who are glamorous. Though the likes of Sathyaraj, Prabhu, Sarath Kumar are there, it will be interesting to see how Balayya can create his magic among the Tamil Thambis. He would be seen in the Tamil version of 'Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara'.

Manchu's @ Future At Chandramukhi Palace

The siblings of this family are getting good response among Tollywood lovers, but are not able to mark their foot prints permanently. We are talking about Manchu family actors, Manoj and Lakshmi Prasanna.
They have talent to rock in various roles, but being choosy about their immediate moves is making audience forget about them. Manoj and Lakshmi Prasanna are trying to capture Telugu industry by a storm from a long time. Currently, the brother and sister are arriving with 'Oo kodataara.. Ulikki padatara'. According to reports, the whole story of this flick revolves around the 'Chandramukhi' palace that is revealed to viewers recently. In fact, such palaces got prominence after Rajni's 'Chandramukhi' and partly 'Arundhati', and hence the name.
If UKUP too fails to convince the audience, Manoj might get a big blow for his career, while Lakshmi is having few other options. Surprisingly, the brother and sister are investing at large for this project even after biting mud for their over spent projects earlier.

Manchu Lakshmi @ Saved by Fishermen!

A tragic incident has struck the shooting of ‘Gundello Godaari.’ This could have been fatal for Manchu family, if fishermen around haven’t been there. Yes, we are here by informed of manchu lakshmi prasanna saving her life by a whisker getting drowned away into the waters of turbulently flowing Godavari River. All this was happened on the sets of ‘Gundello Godaari.’
A small hamlet setting of 170 huts was erected near the village of Chinchinada, lying on the banks of Godavari River. An artificial reservoir with 20 gates was built for shooting purpose. Reservoir was totally filled with water till the brim. Nearly 20 cameras were installed at different locations to shoot a flood scene. It was mid night 12: 45 yesterday when director made all the arrangements for canning the risky shot of Manchu Lakshmi and Aadi Pinisetti engulfed into the flood waters. When gates were opened on the call of director, the flow of water was so fierce that Lakshmi and Aadi have really inundated.
The team of nearly 250 members on the spot stood in helpless situation with Lakshmi crying for help as she is totally asphyxiated. Thanks to local fishermen who reacted urgently and saved Lakshmi, Aadi. By that time, the two were almost submerged into 400 feet depth of Godavari Waters. Better, Lakshmi should stop such brave heroics or take enough precautionary measures before playing with life.

Manchu Hero's @ 'Catch Me If You Can'!!

A 'hit' seems tough for this hard working chap, but his attempts are still on to prove himself with Tollywood. Folks, this is Manchu Vishnu for you!
Disastrous 'Saleem' had made the situation of Manchu Vishnu and his father Mohanbabu so pity. Later, Vishnu has come up with 'Vastadu Na Raju', which became on more flop-feather in his tumbling career. This time he is said to be coming up with a movie in the likes of Hollywood blockbuster 'Catch Me If You Can'. From the last 4-5 months, Mohan Babu himself is sitting with writer Kona Venkat to pen the script with all 'hit' formulas and 'commercial' ingredients. Successful actor from their family, Manchu Manoj is also taking part in the project by directing 'action' sequences.
Tentatively titled as 'Dorakadu', the film went to floors already and currently shooting is going on in Tirupathi. The movie is planned silently for a summer release and one has to see if it can make some noise at Box Office or goes silent!

Mohan Babu Family @ Split Over Nandi Award!?

Yesterday, Mohan Babu's star kid received his first honor from the state government of Andhra Pradesh. Insiders are stating that the top family of Tollywood is divided over this 'award'.
Manchu Manoj got his share of appreciation yesterday, by receiving a Nandi award for his stunning performance in 'Vedam'. However, one expects Mohan Babu to be present at the venue, where Manoj deserves a huge applause. But, except his mother, none from the family were present at the award ceremony to cheer him.
Insiders are saying that both Mohan Babu and his elder son Vishnu are in town involving in an upcoming movie script discussion. Is script-work that important than cheering Manoj for his 'Nandi Award' is the question of many fans. Analysts are saying that Manoj's award that too for the movie of opponent and mega hero Allu Arjun's 'Vedam' is not going well in the family. They say all are friends off-screen. Then why is this discrimination within the family?

Manoj @ ‘Mr. Nookayya Reloaded’ Coming Soon!!

Rocking Star Manchu Manoj’s action entertainer ‘Mr. Nookayya’ is all set to be relaunched again as a faster and sleeker version of the original and this film has been titled ‘Mr. Nookayya Reloaded’. The new version should be out by 16th or 17th of this month and we can expect some changes in the film to overcome the legal issues raised by the mobile phone company Nokia.
“Mr Nookayya ‘ReLoADeD’ version is rocking u guys will see a faster sleek version:) I’m super excited . I request all the websites and newspapers to review Mr Nookayya ‘ReLoAdED’ version:) . It shud be out mostly by 16th or 17th work going at rocket speed ) ” , tweeted Manoj.
Ani has directed this movie and D.S.Rao is the producer. Kriti Kharbandha and Sana Khan are the heroines.

Manchu Manoj @ Breathes Fire! Goes Emotional!!

Manchu Manoj seemed very angry on the 'Nokia' company for issuing a legal notice to Multiplexes in the city to stop the screening of his latest movie 'Mr.Nokia' aka 'Mr.Nookayya'. Before getting his eyes wet, the talented hero asserts the fact that the film is doing well at Box Office and hence these attacks.
Responding to the law-suit news, Manoj stated that no one from the industry, we say big-wigs, are coming forward to help him out in the issue. 'I haven't come out all these days because I don't want to create pre-release hypes without showing my content. I'm happy now that people liked our hard-work and disappointed at the same time with this Nokia disturbance, Manoj said. Gushing out his annoyance, he added, 'Nokia is the name of a city and river in Finland and a God's in Japan. It also sounds close to 'Nookayya', another God for Telugu people. So we'll also file case against Nokia for using our God's name'. Nokia Corporation has filed a case that 'Nokia' and 'Nookayya' are both the same, previously. His eyes went wet while saying that the whole team including director Anil Krishna wept unhappily after hearing the news of Nokia putting check to them again. 'My only aim is that the producer of the movie (DS Rao) should not lose his money end of the day', he confirms after composing imself to normal.
However, when the actor described the turmoil he went through making this film and his ideologies to become a sort after hero, one has to really give a salute to him. 'I don't want to use my dad's name to become a big hero. And that needs me to shed huge money too. I just want to prove myself and like big-director's calling me to act in their flicks', he confidently says. These last words surely make him a hero of a class apart!

Review @ Mr Nookayya - A Stylish Entertainer!!

Movie : Mr Nookayya
Rating: 3/5
Cast : Manchu Manoj, Kriti Karbanda, Sana Khan and others
Directed by : Ani Kanneganti
Produced by : D S Rao
Banner : Sri Sailendra Cinemas
Music : Yuvan Shankar Raja
Release Date : 2012-03-08

Manoj Manchu has been pretty confident about this film right from the outset. Ever since he took up this project he has been involved in various aspects of the filmmaking. He choreographed the fights and has conceptualized a song and also has given creative inputs to the director. He believed in the script and has given his hundred percent on the sets and off them. Mr. Nookayya was made on a tight budget and Manoj has promised a quality product despite the budget restrictions. Did the film live up to the promise he made? Is Mr. Nookayya a show reel for the capabilities of Manoj as an actor as well as technician? Let's find out the answer...
Story:
Nookayya (Manoj) is a cell phone thief who wants to settle down in life by doing wrong things.  Anuradha (Kriti) husband was kidnapped by a local goon Shazahan (Murali Sharma). He asks for 2 crore rupees to leave Anu's husband. Meanwhile Nookayya steals the money from Anu, who has stolen that money from her bank. Manoj gets a lifetime shock from his lover and friend and repents. He stands in support to Anuradha and what happens next is to be seen on screen.
Performances:

Manoj Manchu has outperformed himself in this movie. He is at his energetic best as Nookayya. He emotes well in emotional scenes and is at his best in entertaining scenes. Kriti Kharbanda has done well as a lady in agony. She looks beautiful in the first song. Sana Khan is hot but doesn't perform at all. Vennela Kishore is alright. Brahmanandam tickles in the one scene that he is present. Murali Sharma looks evil and perfect in his role. Ahuti Prasad provides few laughs. Samrat is neat. Rest all did fine.
Technicalities:
Mr. Nookayya is technically slick. The film's photography is a very good. Rajasekhar came up with innovative camera angles and the film looked very stylish. Editing is good. This made the film to get the slick look. Dialogues are fine. Few are really hilarious. Yuvan's music is good. A couple of songs are good on ears.
Director Ani Kanneganti is the one who directed Kalyanram's Asadhyudu. He has worked on his weaknesses this time. He has written a script that has commercial value. Had he concentrated more on the humor, it would have been a good entertainer. He could tone up his narrative skills to be a better director.
Analysis:
Mr. Nookayya is a mass film at heart and is shot in a stylish and slick manner. The detailing is pretty good. Manoj's action choreography stands the highlight of the film. First half is okay and the story picks pace at the interval.
Second half is tightly packed with enough chase sequences and action part. There were few funny scenes in between which would make the film engaging and entertaining as well. Last thirty minutes work due to the wonderful twists given by the director.
Watch Nookayya if you are an action lover. Director didn't concentrate much on the comedy department and the first half is not that good. Barring these minuses you could watch this film for Manoj's energetic performance and the last thirty minutes.
FinallyMr. Nookayya is stylish entertainer!
