Gopichand @ with Nayantara!!
As part of that she is on a signing spree and one hero got lucky. He is the aggressive star Gopichand. Apparently, Gopi has been coming up with a string of flops over the past few years and now it is heard that he got lucky with Nayan as his leading lady. This is slated to be a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil.
The director for this is Bhoopathi Pandian and this would mark Nayana's official entry into Tamil once again after her decision to quit films. This would also mark the debut of Gopichand in Kollywood. Music will be by Thaman. The producer for this is Thandra Ramesh and further details would be revealed soon.
Gopichand @ as a Powerful Police Officer!!
Gopi Chand will be playing the role of a powerful police officer in this movie. Of late he has been struggling to find success and the hero is showing immense confidence in Bhupati to end his flop streak. Heroine of this film is yet to be finalized.
Only scenes on Gopi Chand will be canned in the first schedule. Producer is trying hard to rope in a frontline heroine for this movie.
Gopichand Bride's Father Suicide!!!
Today, the bride’s father Rambabu, who is a businessman in Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad committed suicide with the grief of cancellation of marriage.
Rambabu distributed the wedding cards of his daughter Haritha for many of his friends and relatives. He got upset when the marriage cancelled and finally committed suicide by consuming pesticide.
It is known that both Gopichand and Haritha (an MBA student in Australia) got engaged on 26th of January.
Big-Hero @ Looking For Small Hit!!
Marriage preparations are on for this mass-action hero of Tollywood and still he looks disappointed. This is due to excessive thinking about 'success', which is playing hide and seek with him from the last few years. Gopichand is looking forward for a film that at least can do a proper business without pushing his producers into underworld. All the recent flicks of Gopichand like MOGUDU and GOLIMAAR have left nothing but mud in the in the hands of investors.
Once upon a time, there is a situation where producers and directors came running for this muscled man and now it is vice-versa. Insiders are saying that at least a smal--hit, which means a no-profit no-loss movie, can make this star and his gang happy.

He-Man hero Gopichand is desperately trying to rejunuvate his sagging fortunes in tollywood with a thumping hit. He even played a different role in 'Mogudu' under creative director Krishna Vamsi direction but it failed to impress movie lovers. Now the buzz is he is keen on starring in a hilarious entertainer as tollywood witnessed success of hilarious action entertainers.
Known as Nizam King to his fans he scored sensational hits in tollywood starting from 'Andhrudu','Souryam','Okkadunnadu' etc but recently his films like 'Golimar', 'Wanted', 'Sankham' bombed at boxoffice as all his films and storyline looked similar and stereotyped lacking creativity. Many movie critics feel Gopichand should do negative roles or characters with negative shades as tollywood doesn't have many villians of repute and Gopi's physique,thunderous voice and mean look in his eyes can spew venom on screen. One should not forget he won Nandi award for best villain for his character in 'Jayam' and he thrilled everyone with his roles in 'Nijam' and 'Varsham'. Gopichand,if he really think so can stun one and all in negative roles taking on bollywood villians who are having free ride in tollywood.
He can draw inspiration from tollywood top icons like collection king Mohan Babu and Srihari who left telling mark with their dialogue delivery and performances in roles of negative roles. Hope Gopichand think in this direction rather than dabbling with loverboy or hilarious heroic entertainers.
Will Anushka Comes For Gopichand's Engagement??
Many are waiting to see if Anushka would be attending Gopichand’s wedding or not. Apparently, there was a strong grapevine about the aggressive star going bonkers over Anushka. Some also added that Gopi had serious intentions of marrying her. Anyways, nothing of that sort happened or got proved.
Those who heard this say “Linkups and gossips are common in any hero’s life. Not only Anushka, Gopichand was linked strongly to even Priyamani at one point. But the wedding announcement has wiped off all that rubbish. And if Anushka, Priyamani attend the wedding, everyone’s mouths will be silenced permanently.”
Gopichand Getting Married!!!
Sources say Haritha is a management graduate who hails from a business family in Hyderabad. She pursued her Masters in Australia. Buzz is that this is a total arranged marriage and recently, Gopi went to the ‘Pellichupulu’ and it was an instant liking.
With both sides agreeing to the terms and conditions, the wedding is scheduled during early 2012.
It is heard that Haritha has no connection whatsoever with the film industry and after going across profiles of few producers’ daughters, Gopichand agreed to this and everything happened in a jiffy. Here’s wishing the aggressive star and his would-be a very happy life ahead.
Nara Rohit Can Be A Parallel To Gopichand
Those who saw the film said “Rohit has a good screen presence and the advantage for him is his voice. Moreover, he has that sharp and intense look which is a rare feature among actors. So, he should try and mould his image towards getting into hardcore action treats and serious films.”
Another group said “If Rohit does Gopichand type of movies he will shine. But if he wants to prove himself as a lover boy then lot of changes are required. Also, he should stop imitating Ravi Teja while doing comedy and develop a mark of his own.” Let us see how Rohit works on this.

"My family is already looking for the right girl for me. Even Krishna Vamsi, who is an expert in this area has promised me that he would look after all my marraige arragements. Currently, I'm building my dream house. My marriage would take place soon after the completion of this work," said Gopichand.
Contrary to his mass following, Gopichand is now dealing with female following after the release of 'Mogudu'. He has been flooded with complimentary messages from young women, which is something new to him. Gopi's next film is with sensible filmmaker Chandrasekhar Yeleti, who has given him 'Okkadunnadu' few years back.
Tapsee goes Backless in Bathroom
Tapsee tried to prove herself as a performer with this movie. She succeeded a bit in the acting department and failed utterly with the dubbing part. People are closing their ears to save themselves from Tapsee Telugu torture. She doesn't have a sweet tone to cover up her weakness too.Tapsee despite doing the role of a traditional Indian girl didn't disappoint masala lovers as she liberally exposed her assets whenever required. She sizzled in Kavali Kavali song. But the standout shot of hers would be the backless view in the bathroom. Tapsee showed off her complete back to the camera and it was deliberately done to titillate male audience. Such shots are rare on Telugu screen and it should be rated among the boldest ever scenes done by a Telugu heroine.
Nuvvila wins over Mogudu
On the other hand, big release Mogudu is likely to end up as a flop as the talk is pretty weak. Krishna Vamsi’s plot is alright but the execution is not being received by the public in a positive way. Gopi Chand’s mass fans are terribly disappointed to see their hero in a passive role.
Mogudu will have to sustain the threat of Oh my Friend, Sri Rama Rajyam, Bejawada etc. that are lined up for release in the coming weeks. So it will be highly unlikely for Mogudu to stand its ground with this talk. For now Ravibabu’s Nuvvila is smiling all the way to success!

Story:
Ram Prasad alias Bujji (Gopi Chand) is the son of Anjaneya Prasad (Rajendra Prasad), a rich man and social activist. Prasad wants his son Bujji to get married and settle in life. After few failed attempts to find a bride, Bujji falls in love with RajaRajeshwari alias Raji (Taapsee) in first look. Raji is the daughter of Chamundeswari, a powerful
political leader (Roja). Both the families are happy for the couple and they get married in a grand manner. Small issue rises when they are about to send Raji with Bujji. That turns into an ugly brawl and the couple gets separated then and there. What happens next is the rest of the story.
Performances:
Gopi Chand is good in his elements. His character is different from his regular roles. His mass fans will be disappointed to see him an in a very soft role. Taapsee tried to prove herself as a good actress and it is certainly her best portrayal till date. However, dubbing on her own without knowing the language isn’t a good ploy. At times she hammed a bit and failed to give right expressions in few scenes. She sizzled on the glamour front.
Shradha Das added the necessary spice. She is okay in her role. Rajendra Prasad is good when his character is soft and humble. But his characterization is unconvincing in the second half where it behaves very odd and immature. Roja is good and this character is tailor made for her. Naresh is fine. Venu Madhav is average. All others did well within their limitations.

Krishna Vamsi did well in building up the story. There are few ‘overtone’ scenes which seemed bad in taste, but on a whole the flow is neat until interval point. During the mid break, the film changes color and Krishna Vamsi brought that on to the screen in a convincing manner. He has brilliantly shown how small ego clashes lead to big fights in marriages.
The overall feel at the interval time will be positive and raises hopes over the next hour. But Krishna Vamsi found it tough to change the mood of the film all of a sudden. He faltered a bit and the confusions in the characters and their behavior is clearly visible. The movie changes track when it lands in Mauritius. Despite being funny at times, the whole situation looks forced and unconvincing. The last act in the film was dealt pretty badly. Although that is the only conclusion, he could give to this story, Krishna Vamsi pumped in too much drama and the characters behave in a weird fashion that they get on audience nerves. Mogudu is sheer disappointment on a whole. Despite preaching family values it won’t appeal to family audiences too.

Gopichand says Mogudu is a dream come true project
Actor Gopichand revealed that he has been waiting to work with Krishna Vamsi for 10 years. The actor who made his debut with “Tholi Valapu” admitted that he had only approached two directors for work. One he said was Krishna Vamsi and the second one was Teja. While Teja gave him “Jayam”, his desire to work with Krishna Vamsi had to be kept on hold for 10 long years.
Speaking about his experience Gopichand said, Krishna Vamsi was like an institution and there was no limit to the knowledge that can be absorbed while working in a Krishna Vamsi film. He also said that he is yet to come across a director with such amazing knowledge of music, lyrics and song picturization. Gopichand said Mogudu will have a strong emphasis on family and relationships and will be a movie that will have an instant connect with the audience. Mogudu is slated for a November 4th release.
Mogudu Going To Rock With Comedy?
While a lot of talk is happening on biggies like ‘7th Sense’ ‘Ra.One’ ‘Srirama Rajyam’ etc, there is also one more film which is slowly making its presence felt. We are talking about the film ‘Mogudu’ and as expected, the pre-release talk of the film has been revealed by the filmnagar folks.
It is heard that the film is absolutely hilarious and the flavour of comedy is higher than the film ‘Chandamama’. Apparently, director Krishna Vamsi has reportedly used a lot of nativity in the film and this will connect strongly with the Telugu audience.
On the other hand, there is also a talk that the film is releasing on November 11th, ie 11/11/11. Earlier, the makers thought of releasing it on 4th but now it is reportedly postponed to 11th as the makers feel there should be gap for promotion. With the heat generated by Taapsee through her posters and the pre-release talk combined, a hit seems to be on the cards.
TOPLESS Husbands In Tollywood?

This was seen in ‘Varudu’ when Allu Arjun showed his six pack abs and toned muscles with nice oiled look. Now, it is the turn of Gopichand who is all set to go topless with his new movie ‘Mogudu’. Already, it is heard that ladies and young girls are going pink in shy looking at the hairy body and tough muscles of this aggressive star.
Let us see how successful this trend will be.
Gopichand worried of Tapsee
The angry looking star is worried for the sexy lady in his co star Taapsee. Apparently it is just for namesake film is titled as Mogudu while focus is going to be only on Taapsee because of her oomph factor. Gopichand fans are to approach makers requesting them to come up with Gopichand's solo posters as Taapsee is burning the eyes from one side.
