100 Cr Investment On Mahesh?

Certain producers love few star heroes a lot. Like the way Ashiwni Dutt and KS Rama Rao love to work with Megastar Chiranjeevi always. At present, we have this banner '14 Reels Entertainment' who are coming up with their third movie for Superstar Mahesh. Publicly our hero too announced that he will do more films with them in coming days.

Reports have that '14 Reels' is now heading to invest 100 Crores on Mahesh for a single. They made Dookudu, 1-Nenokkadine and Aagadu with the numero uno star already, but haven't confirmed any immediate future project with him. After pooling around 70 Crores for '1', they have burnt hands as Sukumar's unique storyline failed to impress general audiences. And 'Aagadu' is also another high budgeted flick, but it looks like a money spinner at box office. Irrespective of these results, these producers want to go ahead for a 100 crore budget film with Mahesh, if at all director Shankar handles the mantle. After watching the trailer of 'Manoharudu', they have come to such a conclusion, say sources.

Investing 100 crore on Mahesh is easy because his brand-name pulls finances simply. What matters is recovery, and the kind of publicity and promotions needed to collect such a mammoth budget. Tollywood hasn't entered 100 Crore club in collections, and if stars like Mahesh wants to aim at it, they are welcome. 

Doom 3 @ 2 days Box Office Collections

Aamir Khan-starrer big-budget action thriller "Dhoom 3" has collected Rs.69.58 crore -- which includes earnings from Tamil and Telugu versions -- in two days of its release, an official statement here said. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the third instalment of Yash Raj Films' popular "Dhoom" franchise came out Friday and opened to mixed reviews. But it seems the box office collection is satisfactory.

On Friday, the well-packaged enrapturing drama clinched a total of Rs.36.22 crore at the box office, while on Saturday the earnings were recorded to be Rs.33.36 crore. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra, who have been constant in the cast since "Dhoom", reprised their roles of cop and sidekick, respectively. Katrina Kaif added glamour to the film that boasts beautifully designed sequences.

Prabhas @ Mirchi Crossed Rs 2 Cr Collections In USA

Prabhas starring 'Mirchi' is rocking both at home and abroad. So far it collected upto Rs 2 Cr as per the reported screens. This is just official figure. Original might be much higher.

On Thursday it faired well in USA with $ 94K, on Friday with $116K and on Saturday with $178 K. Totally it did $ 389 K and that is close to Rs 2 Cr.

We have to see how far it will collect in the days to come. All this is the result of Prabhas' image and the positive talk for the film, say exhibitors. Though the comedy quotient is less in the film, Prabhas could shoulder this film well.

Shocking @ ADHINAYAKUDU Collections!!

Balakrishna’s recent Telugu movie Adhinayakudu, which released world wide on June 1, has reportedly done good business at the Box Office in India. According to trade experts, the Paruchuri Murali directed movie has raked in more than Rs 20.5 crores at the collection centres in first weekend. Adhinayakudu opened to a very good response on Friday with its occupancy ranging between 70% to 100% in single screens and 50% to 75% in multiplexes across the country. The movie collected approximately Rs 7.2 crores at the Box Office on the first day of its release
