Summer 2012 is @bumper offer for Mega fans

Mega fans have a bumper offer in summer 2012. They have every reason to cheer as almost all the heroes from the Mega camp will see releases around that period. First to come out would be Mega Power Star Ram Charan Tej’s ‘Raccha’. The makers are targeting an end March release for the film. The movie is being touted as a mass action entertainer and the film reportedly has some solid fights and action sequences.

Next up would be Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gabbar Singh’. This masala entertainer is slated for an April 27th release, bang in the middle of the summer holiday season. The movie is a remake of the Bollywood blockbuster ‘Dabangg’. This movie will see Pawan Kalyan’s in a full fledged commercial mass role.

Allu Arjun will be coming out with his new film towards the end of May. The film is being directed by Trivikram and Ileana is the heroine in this project. So it is one rollicking summer for Mega fans.

Allu Arjun, Trivikram’s film @ back on floors

The fresh schedule of Allu Arjun’s upcoming film, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, is going to begin from January 5 onwards. Allu Arjun had taken some time off to spend the New Year’s Eve with his family and now he is back to work. Ileana is pairing up with Allu Arjun for the first time in this film. Sources close to the film unit have said that the makers have not thought of an appropriate name for the film yet. Radhakrishna is producing the film on Harika & Hasini creations banner and DVV Danayya is presenting it. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. The film is expected to hit the screens in summer, 2012.

Ram Charan Tej has a @ busy month ahead

Ram Charan Tej has a hectic month ahead. He will begin shooting for Sampath Nandi’s Rachcha from January 5 onwards. Soon, he will start shooting for V V Vinayak’s film and Vamshi Paidipally’s Yevadu. The shooting for both these films is going to begin later this month. In Vamshi Paidipally’s Yevadu, Charan is teaming up with Samantha and Allu Arjun is playing a cameo. V V Vinayak’s film has Charan and Kajal pairing up once again after Magadheera. In the past, Charan had promised his fans that he would do at least two to three films every year. Looks like Mega Fans are in for a big treat this year with as many as three films of Ram Charan lined up for release in 2012.

Sri Rama Rajyam@ 50 days function today

The devotional magnum opus Sri Rama Rajyam has won a lot of critical acclaim for its superb technical values and artistry. The movie has been etched beautifully by legendary director Bapu. Nandamuri Balakrishna portrayed the role of Lord Rama and Nayanatara played the role of Sita.The movie recently completed 50 days run successfully.The makers are holding a success meet to celebrate the occasion. It will take place today in shilpa Kala Vedhika, Hyderabad. Unit members and fans are expected to attend. ANR who played the character of Valmiki may not attend the function as his better half Annapurna garu recently expired.

Music maestro Ilayaraja has scored the tunes for this movie and Mullapudi Venkataramana has provided the script.

Sri Rama Rajyam was produced by Yalamanchili Sai Babu and he has won a lot of praise for having the courage to come up with such movie in this day and age.

Businessman postponed

Mahesh Babu's Ready for release movie 'Business Man' was censored on Wednesday and the Censor board officials have awarded the movie with 'A' certificate. However, the movie release was postponed by 2 days. The movie will now be releasing on January 13th.Buzz is that the movie was postponed to en-cash the long weekend in Overseas where Mahesh commands huge following.

The movie was completed in 74 working days. Out of which, Mahesh worked for 64 days and Kajal worked for 30 days. Nearly 84000 feet film was used for the movie. This is the quickest shot movie in recent times.

Kajal Agarwal is playing the love interest of Mahesh in the movie. Puri Jagannadh is directing it and Venkat is producing the film on R R Movie Makers banner. Thaman is rendering the music.

Gabbar Singh to @release in April!

Power star Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film "Gabbar Singh" new shooting schedule will starts from tomorrow (January 5th) in Hyderabad. Earlier the film makers are completed the major part of the film’s shoot in Pollachi where the film makers canned a song and few scenes. After Hyderabad schedule, the next schedule of the film’s shoot will starts in Pune from January 20th.

Yesterday the makers are released the official stills of Pawan’s Gabbar Singh movie and today released the new year special poster. Gabbar Singh is a remake of super hit Hindi film "Dabangg". Film makers are trying to rope in a Bollywood actress for the Telugu version item song of Munni Badnam song.

Gabbar Singh is being directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Bandla Ganesh on parameswara arts banner while Devisri Prasad is composing the music.

Another buzz is that the movie is expected to hit the big screens on April 27th, which is the Power star’s Super hit film Kushi release date.

Rana’s @Tamil film starts in April!

Daggubati young hero Rana has been roped to play an important role in a Tamil film titled "Vada Chennai", with this film Rana is making his Tamil debut.Now the latest news is that the film goes on to sets from April, 2012.The film will be directed by award winning director Vetrimaran and Simbu is playing the lead role while Andrea Jeremiah is playing the female lead role in this film.GV Prakash wil compose the tunes for this flick.

Big Hero's Daughter Trained By @Anushka

Knowingly or unknowingly, Anushka has been one starlet who has created a strong impact with the audience in the south. She is the perfect package of attractive looks and a sex appeal that is hard to match.

Mahesh Failed With @Kolaveri Di

The herd mentality of Indians is known to all. And that applies even to the creative individuals of the entertainment industry.

The reason we say this is after seeing the effects of the Tamil song ‘Why this Kolaveri Di..’. Apparently, thousands of versions came up in the same format after the chartbuster track.

Ironically, even Mahesh Babu had his version of a song for his film ‘Businessman’ in the ‘Kolaveri’ format. He was not alone.

The Tamil star Simbu sang with his father T Rajendar, Nitin sang for his film ‘Ishq’. But here is the hard fact. No one is caring for these new versions.

If the versions come from small names it is okay but even Mahesh’s version with Puri Jagannadh also no one is caring. It goes to show that the public hysteria can be seasonal and unpredictable. It is also a lesson to all who try to copy that originality is always the best and most applauded.

Sankranthi & Post Sankranthi Releases @ Confirmed!!

The crucial and most sought after season for the Tollywood folks is the Sankranthi time. They come up with the best of their films and after various permutations and combinations, here is a final list of the films which are scheduled for Sankranthi and post Sankranthi release.
 
The festival begins with Mahesh Babu’s ‘Businessman’ hitting the screens on January 12th. This is followed by victory Venkatesh’s ‘Bodyguard’ arriving on January 14th. There is also a talk that on the same day, Nandamuri Tarakaratna might be seen with his ‘Nandeeswarudu’.
 
The much talked about Sunil’s ‘Poolarangadu’ has been slated for a release on January 26th and this would be clashing with ‘Snehithudu’. Now that the films have got some decent space, let us hope they are good enough to rock the box office and give a good start to 2012.

 

Ramcharan Created @ Own Record!!!

Young hero Ramcharan Tej may be few films old but within a short span he managed to set one big record by scoring a bumper blockbuster ‘Magadheera’. Of course, that has been overtaken by ‘Dookudu’ now. However, that has not deterred the mega powerstar from marching on with new records.
 
Now, it is heard that he has created a record of his own. Sources say Ramcharan’s new film ‘Rachcha’ has sold its overseas rights for a record amount of Rs 2.75 crores. This is the second highest figure for a Telugu film in overseas territory. The first place belongs to ‘Businessman’ which was reportedly sold for Rs 4.5 crores.
 
‘Rachcha’ is slated to be a full length action entertainer packed with commercial elements and the hype has been positive. The shooting is progressing briskly and it is scheduled for a mid 2012 release. Charan is pairing up with Tamannah in the lead. Let us wait to see what ‘Rachcha’ this film creates at overseas box office.

Doubts on @ Rajamouli's 'Eega'!!

It has been quite a while since the tough taskmaster SS Rajamouli has been working on his project 'Eega'. This is slated to be a graphical extravaganza and Rajamouli once mentioned that this is more like an experimental film in the Tollywood circuit. While the hype and expectation is there, here is another side.


A talk has begun to make rounds among the cine buffs and they are expressing doubts over the success of this film. They say "It is nice that Rajamouli is coming up with an innovative project but the success ratio of this looks doubtful. Firstly, the budget of the film has touched more than Rs 30 crores so recovery would be a challenge."
They add "The fact that it doesn't have a top league star barring the presence of Samantha should also be considered as that is what the mass audience will look at. Moreover, not all the theatres in Andhra Pradesh are equipped to give the required effect of graphics onscreen. It is a bit of concern." Wonder what Rajamouli has to say to this.

Businessman @ Highlight Charecter!!!

One of the most talked about movies of the season is 'Businessman' and as announced during the start, the film is gearing up to hit the screens on January 11th. Now, an interesting update has been revealed by the unit members. It is about one character which will be a highlight in the film.


Sources say the character will be essayed by Dharmavarapu Subramanyam. Buzz is that this character would be unique and will provide a laughter riot for the audience. Director Puri Jagannadh has reportedly taken special interest in etching the character for maximum entertainment.
Now, this has risen to a new speculation. Some are asking why did Puri focus on Dharmavarapu this time. Usually, Puri considers comedian Ali as his lucky charm so getting Dharmavarapu into the scene is unusual. Anyways, as long as the viewer is entertained, the other things don't matter.

After a triple disaster ringing the fire alarms, Power star Pawan Kalyan has decided to rethink his strategy and think over his choice of films. Earlier, Pawan Kalyan gave green signal to SJ Surya's story and that was supposed to be directed by Raju Sundaram.


Actually this film was lined up next to Gabbar Singh, until Panjaa bombed at the ticket windows. With one more star Tamil director failing to give him a hit Pawan Kalyan dropped the idea of working with yet another Tamil director.
If the buzz is to be believed, Pawan Kalyan also decided to step out from Prince of Peace, a film on Jesus Christ. As of now, except for Gabbar Singh, Pawan Kalyan hasn't signed a deal with anyone. He is seriously giving it a thought to work with frontline Telugu directors as they are aware of his image and audiences pulse as well. If this is true, then Power fans can heave a sigh of relief.

Businessman @ 'last minute' Shock to Fans!!

Mahesh Babu's Businessman release is postponed by two days all of a sudden leaving fans in surprise/shock. Businessman makers have been saying that this film would release on Jan 11 by hook or crook. However, they have decided to push the release by a couple of days. The reasons are yet to be explained.


Not only Businessman, there is a chance for Venkatesh's Bodyguard also to be pushed accordingly. Which means Bodyguard might release on January 14th as per the sources. Although diehard fans who are dying to see Businessman on Jan 11 were left amused by the postponement news, logically thinking fans are happy with the fresh date.
13th is the eve of big festival and also there is a long weekend in US, which would ensure good opening to the film. The other thing is there aren't many films to compete at the box office for this Pongal and therefore postponing for two days may not show that much affect on the end result.

All the Mega @ Heroes in Action!!

Mega heroes Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun will be in action from tomorrow for their respective films. Pawan Kalyan’s film Gabbar Singh fresh schedule will start tomorrow and so does Ram Charan’s Racha.

Gabbar Singh is slated for release on April 27 and Racha should be out by March end. Allu Arjun’s film might be complete by June/July. Therefore there would be nonstop entertainment for mega fans this summer.

Mahesh Babu @ Chief guest to SMS audio!!

Mahesh Babu will be attending the audio launch of Sudheer Babu’s SMS film. Sudheer is Mahesh’s brother in law. Krishna will also attend this event which will be conducted on January 22nd at Shilpa Kala Vedika.


SMS is a remake of a Tamil film with the same name. Tatineni Satya is directing it. Sudheer made debut as an actor with Ye Maya Chesave. He played Samantha’s brother role in it. He is trying his luck as a hero with SMS.
Regina is playing the female lead in SMS. Ghattamaneni Priya is producing this movie and RB Chowdary is presenting it.

Pawan Kalyan @ Not in Hangover!!

Few sections of media reported that Pawan Kalyan agreed to do a film under Raju Sundaram direction after completing Gabbar Singh work. They have also added that this film is a remake of Hollywood comedy Hangover and it will be made in 3D.


Official sources from Pawan Kalyan denied any such developments and rubbished this news as baseless. Also there is news about Pawan Kalyan doing Sarada movie under Trivikram direction for Panjaa producer Neelima.
Pawan Kalyan hasn’t confirmed any film except for Gabbar Singh as of now. He is not committed to anyone and even Neelima denied Sarada news. Pawan will decide about his next very soon and there will be an official announcement regarding it.

NTR @ 'Action' Starts After 'Dammu'!!

Another Film @ drops out of Sankranthi race!!

What was meant to be a race between three films is now turning into two. Sources say another project which looked sure for a release is now backing off during that time.


We are talking about the film 'Poolarangadu' and sources say the makers have decided to have the audio release on January 9th while the film's release is being scheduled for January 26th or first week of February. In between, there was a talk about postponement but the makers had quashed that.
However, it now appears that the postponement talk is turning out to be true. The film has Sunil along with the endearing smile beauty Isha Chawla and this is directed by Veerabhadram Chowdary. This is slated to be a full length entertainer and Sunil would be seen in a six pack avatar.

Mahesh' Wife Says @ No To Vasuki!

Not many beauty pageant winners have made it big on the silver screen, though we have some prominent names like Sushmita Sen, Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra and Dia Mirza, besides yesteryears beauty queens like Juhi Chawla, who had the best of both the worlds.

In Tollywood, however, there are hardly any big names on the silver screen, though a couple of them got the Miss India titles.

Sometime back, our Telugu beauty Gadde Sindhura who went up to the international pageants made a desperate attempt to glitter on the silver screen, but could not get big offers.

The latest talk is that Sunkavalli Vasuki, Miss India Universe-2010 title holder also made such a futile attempt. Though she has not yet been vocal in expressing her desire to take up acting, her managers reportedly made an effort in to project her on the screen. It is learnt they have tried hard to make her maiden entry in Mahesh Babus’s next film.

However, Mahesh’s wife Namrata Sirodkar firmly put her foot down and rejected the very proposal outright, sources say.

Prince Mahesh Babu’s Businessman has completed its censor formalities today. Sources say that an A Certificate has been awarded to the movie with minor cuts. The film is all set to release in a massive way on January 11th 2012.
Puri Jagan is directing this movie and Kajal Aggarwal will be romancing Mahesh Babu in this movie. There are some hot romantic moments between the lead pair, as per the buzz in the industry.
