Hot Neha Bhasin grabs Tollywood’s attention

In the glittering audio function of Young Tiger NTR’s Oosaravelli, one lady was able to stay in the public imagination despite the presence of stars like NTR and Tamanna. She is the hot and talented Neha Bhasin. She performed on stage for the song ‘Niharika Niharika’.

Neha wowed the crowd with an impressive and very sensual dance and one could see that all the directors and producers were watching her performance keenly. The song ‘Niharika Niharika’ is turning out to be very popular from the Oosaravelli soundtrack.

This is not Neha Bhasin’s first stint in telugu. She lent her voice to the songs “Hello Hello” from Naga Chaitanya’s Dhada and “Atu Nuvve itu Nuvve” from Sushant’s Current. All of them are Devi Sri albums incidentally.

Taapsee upset with 'Bachcha' hero connection

Sizzling beauty with a lovely smile, Taapsee, is said to be roaming around with a 'bachcha' actor from Kollywood. His name is Mahat Raghavendra. He acted in a side role in recently released Ajith's Mankatha. He and comedian Premji Amaran have been good friends with Taapsee. They used to hang out with a bunch of friends in Chennai. Of late Taapsee and Mahath are seen together sans their friends group for a
couple of times and the rumors kicked off that there is something brewing between them. This gossip was first published in leading English daily and now it is being circulated all through the media. Taapsee ignored that as if she isn't aware of the circulating rumor.

However, she was recently asked the same in the interviews when she came to promote Vachadu Gelichadu movie. She is dumbstruck with it and vehemently condemned such baseless rumors. She maintained her calm and posted a composed but strong message on Twitter which reads "Thanx 2 certain media houses I'll now even have to stop meeting or even seeing the guys I know in the industry. Media permission must before knowing anyone."

Young Hero Laughs at 'Oosaravelli' Dialogue!!

While the fans of Nandamuri young tiger Jr.NTR are rejoicing with the dialogue recited by their hero, here is a Young man laughing at it. The theme of  'current wire' and 'touch chesty' is used prominently by young and energetic hero Ram in his latest hit movie KANDIREEGA. Same is the dialogue of Jr.NTR in his latest flick under the direction of Surender Reddy, which looks slightly modified. Junior's dialogue from
OOSARAVELLI too looks same and this is due to the writer.

Actually, writer Rajender Kumar of KANDIREEGA is a close friend of writer Koratala Siva who wrote OOSARAVELLI. Now, the connection between the dialogues is apparent as they might have shared the 'current wire' already with each other some time back. Critics are saying that the episode of KANDIREEGA is already over and now it is time for OOSARAVELLI, moreover no one will remember Ram's dialogues as they do Jr.NTR's.

Dookudu @ Must Cross 'Pokiri'

Film Nagar sources say that even though Dookudu becomes super hit that wouldn't fetch any thing for producers.

The film started almost one year ago and Mahesh Babu was given Rs 8 Cr as remuneration. Sreenu Vaitla bagged Rs 5 Cr while Samantha and music director Tamanna took Rs 50lakh each. Parvathy Melton and other artistes were billed up to Rs 4 crore and that way the budget of Rs 18 crore has gone only for remunerations.

The shooting has been on floors from last one year and the expenses would be

around Rs 10 crore. So, calculating the interest for this Rs 28-30 Cr @ 2% it's coming around 6 crore. So, all together Rs 35 Cr is the investment made on 'Dookudu'.

So, until and unless it becomes a bigger hit than 'Pokiri', producers don't fall in profit zone. If it stands like Khaleja or Athidhi, the situation will be bad. And if becomes 'Sainikudu', the scene will be worst!!

Big Hero Called Lakshmi Manchu A Vamp?

Though she is barely two films old as an actress, Lakshmi Manchu has shot to fame as a talented and versatile performer. Currently, she is busy with the shooting of her Bollywood debut film ‘Department’ under the direction of Ram Gopal Varma. Meanwhile, an update has arrived on her.

Sources say that recently, Kamal Haasan approached Lakshmi Manchu for a role in his ambitious project ‘Vishwaroopam’. However, it is heard that Lakshmi had
declined the offer. Now, inside talk is that Kamal had given a vamp type of role to Lakshmi which didn’t go well with the elegant lady.

Buzz is that Lakshmi was not keen on essaying a vamp role which would mean oozing sex appeal and has minimum value in film. That’s why she backed out. As it is, Kamal Haasan has been going through severe torture trying to finalize the actress so time will tell whether he will get his ladies or not.

The twitter network has become more like a boon to the Tollywood folks and many other cine personalities. Oosaravelli @ Audio Review – NTR tries out something New

NTR and Tamanna are pairing up for the first time in the movie ‘Oosaravelli’. The movie has been directed by stylish director Surender Reddy and BVSN Prasad is the Producer. The audio launch of ‘Oosaravelli’ took place yesterday at a glittering function in Shilpa Kala Vedika. Devi Sri has scored the music for this upcoming flick.There are 8 songs in all and 2 of them are bit songs. Let us see how the audio album stacks up.

1.Song: Nenante Naaku

Lyrics: Rama Jogayya Sastry

This is a nice and stylish melody that is rendered beautifully by Adnan Sami. Rama Jogayya Sastry’s lyrics are nicely poetic. Pretty good music from Devi Sri is soothing to hear.Stringed instruments and synthesizer work are predominant in this track.This is a classic song that a hero uses to woo a heroine and we can expect some beautiful European locales on screen for this number.Pretty hummable and easily one of the better tracks in the album

2.Song: Niharika Niharika

Lyrics: Anantha Sriram

For me, this song is the pick of the album. Uber cool and instantly likeable, ‘Niharika Niharika’ will be playing in your music systems for a long time.This is a soft and stylish duet.It is Neha Bhasin’s show all the way even though Vijay Prakash does an admirable job. Her voice is literally dripping with emotion and infuses life into the song. Anantha Sriram’s lyrics are pretty good. Devi Sri has come up with a contemporary and chic tune for this song. Wind and percussion instruments dominate this track. Expect some pretty stylish visualization from Surender Reddy and Rasool Ellore with this number.

3.Song: Oosaravelli Theme

Lyrics: Rama Jogayya Sastry& Devi Sri Prasad

This is the Oosaravelli Theme song. It is a short two and half minute number that is dominated by heavy metal music. It remains to be seen how well this track will be utilized by Surender Reddy on screen but not everyone will like this song when listening to it. It definitely will not reach B & C center crowds that form the backbone of NTR’s support base. Ujjainee Roy’s singing is a bit garish but it is in keeping with the music and theme of the song.

4.Song: Sri Anjaneyam

Lyrics: Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry

This song starts off with a short dialogue from NTR. ‘Sri Anjaneyam’ is a 3 minute song that serves as a motivational number. It will most likely come as an inspiration at a time in the story when the hero is faced with very tough circumstances. Siri Vennela Seetarama Sastry is a master lyricist and his words are simple and powerful. MLR Karthikeyan renders this number with enough gusto and conviction to deliver the required emotion that is so critical in such a song. Devi Sri’s music is OK and does a decent job of supporting the lyrics and the emotion.

5.Song: Yelango Yelango
Artist(s): Jaspreet Jasz, Chinmayee
Lyrics: Rama Jogayya Sastry

This song will either make you laugh out loud or make you angry. There will be no middle ground with this kind of unconventional and meaningless lyrics. And probably no one other than Rama Jogayya Sastry can come up with such stuff. This song will however give NTR ample opportunity to showcase his amazing dancing abilities. The music is fast and peppy, in a commercial way. Probably aimed at B & C centers, this song will do its job of keeping them happy. Strictly not for melody lovers.

6.Song: Brathakali
Artist(s): Devi Sri Prasad
Lyrics: Chandrabose

This is a solo number rendered by Devi Sri himself. ‘Brathakali’ sounds like an extension of the ‘Oosaravelli Theme’ and that is what it probably is. This is the kind of song that is picturized in dark warehouses with a lot of oil drums and sparks flying all around the hero. Nothing to write home about as far as Chandrabose’s lyrics are concerned. A mediocre performance from Devi Sri both in terms of singing as well as music.

7.Song: Dandia India
Artist(s): Mukesh, Suchitra
Lyrics: Anantha Sriram, Suchitra

This is an out and out mass number and once again, the primary aim is to please the B & C center crowds and give NTR a chance to showcase his dancing abilities. Mukesh and Suchitra render this song with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Anantha Sriram’s lyrics areOK and do the job. Devi Sri’s music is peppy and moves along at a fast pace, but it sounds familiar. This song will be quite popular in small towns. Expect a visual feast from Tamanna in this song.

8.Song: Love Ante Caring
Artist(s): Francisco Castelleno
Lyrics: Anantha Sriram

This is a solo number and the lyrics of this song justify the title ‘Oosaravelli’. The variable nature of the hero’s behaviour is captured well in Anantha Sriram’s lyrics. Francisco Castelleno does a good job with the rendition. This is a good number to listen to and is one of the better tracks in the album. Expect a humorous and stylish picturization from Surender Reddy onscreen. Good contemporary music from Devi Sri gives the song a very youthful feel.

Verdict : ‘Oosaravelli’ is not a typical NTR album. NTR said that he is trying out something new with ‘Oosaravelli’ and it reflects in the audio album. There are some nice melodies and youthful tracks but there are some mass, commercial numbers as well.The audio tries to play to the strengths of NTR and Surender Reddy. There is ample scope for stylish picturization and room has been left for NTR to showcase his dancing. ‘Niharika Niharika’, ‘Nenante Naaku’,'Dandiya India’ & ‘Love Ante Caring’ are my picks. A pretty decent album overall but definitely not DSP’s best work. Success will depend on choreography and picturization.

Bipasha, who is concerned about the health of Rana, has sent a get well soon message to the actor.

The much talked about film of the season is ‘Oosaravelli’ and yesterday it was the audio release function. While the event became a grand success, one thing caught the eye of many. It was the behavior and energy levels of NTR Junior. Well, they were filled with high adrenalin.

One of fans who participated in the event said “I have attended many public functions of Junior NTR. Usually, he is very reserved and hardly dances. But this time his total approach was different. He was screaming at the top of his
lungs, grabbing mike every now and then and giving statements.”

The fan added “In a way, he was overactive and danced also. Looking at his act, some of them were asking maybe NTR was a little bit drunk and that’s why he was looking so pumped up.” Whether Junior had anything or not, he sure seems to have caused a flutter among his fans.

Charan Rape attempt on Sona Aunty

SP Balasubrahmanyam's son SP Charan, who is also a singer and film maker is now facing the wrath of a woman. 

She is none other than Sona, the Tamil actress turned producer who lodged a complaint against Charan in Pondy Bazar Police Station for attempting rape on her.

Recently a success party was held for 'Mankatha' team where Sona attended. SP Charan was in inebriated condition and pulled Sona and tried to assault her sexually, as per her complaint. She tried to come out from the tight hug of Charan but he molested her by then, she stated. She also accused Venkat Prabhu, the director of the film who passed vulgar remarks on her when Charan was assaulting.

She called for a Press Meet and stated that she would burn alive if Venkat Prabhu and Charan don't come and apologize her in public.

RamCharan aunty in 2G Spectrum case?

Young hero Ram Charan Teja might be on cloud nine for marrying Upasana Kamineni, grand daughter of Apollo Group of Hospitals chairman Pratap C Reddy. But little does he know that his fiancée’s family is facing the Central Bureau of Investigation probe in the sensational 2G spectrum case. According to reports from New Delhi, the CBI authorities recently questioned Suneetha Reddy, director (finance) of the Apollo Group, in connection with the Aircel-Maxis deal connected with the irregularities in 2G spectrum allotments.

The CBI recorded her statement as part of the preliminary inquiry.

 Along with her, the CBI also questioned former telecom minister Dayanidhi Maran and his brother Kalanithi Maran. The Marans played a key role in the Aircel-Maxis deal. And Suneetha Reddy happens to be second sister of Shobhana Kamineni, the would-be-mother-in-law of Ram Charan Teja. Shobhana has two more sisters – Prita Reddy and Sangeetha Reddy. While Prita is the group MD, Sangeetha is the MD of Apollo hospitals, whereas Shobhana is the director (projects) of the group.

So, Cherry should be careful and it is better he does not poke his nose into the Apollo Group affairs.
