Dookudu celebrations in a grand way

2011’s biggest hit of Tollywood and all time second highest grosser of Telugu cinema, Dookudu is running successfully towards fifty days. The film was released in highest number of screens (Oosaravelli surpassed it) and enjoyed a thumping success at the box office.

The makers of Dookudu are planning to conduct a big function to celebrate the fifty days run. As per the buzz the function will take place in Vijayawada on November 11 or 12. It would be a grand event and thousands of Mahesh Babu’s fans are expected to attend it.

No function was conducted for Pokiri despite being a big hit at that time. But Dookudu makers are not going to disappoint Prince fans this time. Stay tuned for official confirmation regarding this

Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh on March 28

Pawan Kalyan’s Panjaa is in the post production work and his next movie Gabbar Singh is already on the sets. Some part of this film was already shot and it will be quickly wrapped up in another sixty days. This is the remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg.

Harish Shankar is directing Gabbar Singh. This film is aiming at summer release. As per the buzz, Gabbar Singh will release on March 28, 2012. Shruti Haasan is the heroine in this film. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music.

Ganesh Babu, who produced Theen Maar with Pawan Kalyan is producing this film. With Gabbar Singh slated for March 28 release, Pawan Kalyan’s fans are going to witness two releases in a span of four months.

Jr NTR Said 'YES' To Her Daughter!!??

Ever since Shruti Haasan walked out of ‘Dammu’, the makers have been working constantly on finding a suitable replacement. Sources say the hot actress Taapsee was one among the favourites and it is heard that even Taapsee was willing to give bulk dates. However, the update that is known for all is that Junior NTR said no to it.

Unit members reveal he opted for Kajal Agarwal. This is a common feature among top league heroes who don’t want to take chances with their heroines and opt for established faces. Now, the gates are open to Taapsee for the second lead but another grapevine is that she had few issues with Kajal during her previous projects ‘Mr Perfect’ and ‘Veera’.

So now, the chances are that Karthika, the daughter of Radha who grabbed attention with her stint in ‘Rangam’ is another probable. Inside sources say that Jr NTR apparently said ‘yes’ for her. The shooting is scheduled to commence during last week of October and it is heard that scenes of Jr NTR would be canned first. For now, no official confirmations are given on Kajal replacing Shruti and Karthika being considered as second lead. The film is directed by Boyapati Sreenu and produced by Alexander Vallabha.

Balakrishna's 'JK' Rocking Chartbusters

It has often been noticed that songs form a key role for creating a positive or negative impact on a film. There are times when films go wrong but are rescued by hit songs. Right now, one song has been causing quite a stir at the chartbuster list and this happens to be a devotional number.

We are talking about ‘Jagadaananda Karaka…’ and this is from the film ‘Srirama Rajyam’. Rendered by the iconic S P Balasubramanyam along with Shreya Ghoshal, the song was penned by Jonnavithula while the tunes are composed by the maestro Ilayaraja. Reports are coming from various music stores that the audio CDs are selling like hot cakes.

Those who heard the song they are getting into a trance and are praying that they will get to see the same divinity onscreen when the film releases. With Nandamuri Balakrishna in the avatar of Lord Srirama, ‘Srirama Rajyam’ looks promising. For now, it is the audio album which is doing the needful and especially this song.

Allu Sirish's Master plan Exposed!

Younger son of Allu Aravind, net savvy Allu Sirish was once considered as the hot blooded youngster, who doesn't mind to comment openly on other heroes films and their records. But he has toned down all his aggression and staying calm despite few false claims from some heroes that they have rewritten history. Mahesh Babu: Innocent or Ignorant?

Superstar Mahesh Babu is showing his real star power at the box office with Dookudu yet again. He is the only star to have two films among top five in Telugu film industry history. Dookudu turned out to be the second biggest hit in Tollywood history proving Mahesh's mettle.

But Mahesh Babu posted a tweet about Dookudu stating that it is the biggest hit ever in Tollywood history. This tweet from the superstar has turned out to be the joke of the year as he claims that Dookudu has surpassed all time record of Magadheera. Fact is far away from Mahesh's belief though. Dookudu certainly broke Magadheera's record in overseas by a good margin. However, it hasn't crossed it in Andhra, North Andhra, Ceded and Nizam, where the margin between the films is very big that Dookudu cannot even come close to Magadheera let alone beating it.

Mahesh Babu might be wrongly informed about the actual facts and may be he is ignorant of the actual trade facts. Mahesh Babu expressed his happiness over the fake numbers either by innocence or ignorance. His statement that Dookudu is next to 3 Idiots in overseas was ridiculed by one and all.

This clearly shows that Mahesh Babu is being misled by someone who is just passing on the wrong information to him. Although he believes that he has already beaten Magadheera, Mahesh will have to beat it again with The Businessman to claim the best ever record. Irony! Phew!!

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s racha is shooting in Hyderabad now. Movie has completed its schedule in Goa recently.

Hot debate is going on about the decision of Mahesh and Puri over Khaidi. First of all, there are many eyebrows raised to visualize a soft looking Mahesh Babu in that hardcore mass character. Even fans couldn't imagine Mahesh Babu dressed up in a black baniyan (vest) and with a black ribbon tied around his head.

Sexy Anushka is slowly but surely moving out of Telugu film industry for reasons better known to her. She is not taking up any new assignments in Tollywood citing dates problems. On the other hand she has been on signing spree in Tamil film industry. She is signing film after film in Kollywood and is rejecting all the requests made by Telugu producers and heroes.
Anushka moved out of Prabhas's Rebel and rejected to star opposite Balakrishna couple of times. There are reports in the media that she turned down few prestigious Telugu films. Anushka is also not entertaining anyone who goes with a female oriented subject.

Although she is planning to marry her longtime boyfriend in a couple of years, she isn't slowing down with Tamil films. Anushka is only staying away from Tollywood at the moment. Don't know if she will ever come back and sign Telugu films like she used to do in the past.

Chaitanya to assist Oh my friend!!

Banam director Chaitanya Dantuluri will assist Siddharth starer 'Oh My Friend' movie. Movie is slated for a set to Release on November 11. Dil Raju is producing this movie. 

This movie’s audio was released recently. Now Director Venu Sriram is currently busy in supervising the post production work of 'Oh My Friend'. He handed over the responsibilities to his close aide, Banam director Chaitanya Dantuluri.

And the Banam director readily accepted to be associated with 'Oh My Friend'. Chaitanya will be director for the last song. Siddharth, Sruti Hassan, Hansika and Navadeep are the main leads in this film.

Nithin’s Ishq Latest Shooting Updates

Ishq shooting is in progress at the outskirts of Gundlapocharampalli. Couple of scenes was shot on Thursday on hero Nithin and hero-ine Nitya Menon in Apparel Park located there. The film is directed by Vinay Kumar and Shreshta Movies is producing the film. Multi-dimension entertainments are presenting the film. Ajay, Sindu Tolani, Rohini, Nagineedu, Sudha, Satya Krishnan, Ali, Duvvasi Mohan, Srinivas Reddy, Sandhya Janak, Supreeth, Ravi Prakash and others are starring in the film. Anushka to pair up with Ajith?

Anushka is becoming one of the most sought after actresses in Tamil film industry. After her films like Singham and Deiva Thirumagal clicked in Tamil, she’s being approached for several big budget and big star’s films. Recently, we reported that she’ll be starring in Karthi’s next film. The latest buzz doing rounds in Tamil film industry is that she might be paired with one of Ajith’s upcoming films which will be directed by Siva.

Currently Ajith is acting in Billa-2 and another film with Vishnuvardhan is in pipeline and this film with Siva will go on floors after he completes both the films. Siva had directed Siruthai with Karthi, which was a remake of Vikramarkudu and it was a huge success in Tamil. An official confirmation over Anushka pairing up with Ajith is expected to be made soon. This would be the first time that two would be seen together in a Tamil film.

Rajini’s Ranaa from Jan 2012

Superstar Rajinikanth’s much awaited movie Ranaa will begin production from January 2012. The movie has the hot Deepika Padukone as the heroine and K.S.Ravikumar is directing the movie.

The movie was launched with much fanfare a few months back but shooting had to stopped because of Rajinikanth’s illness. The Superstar underwent treatment in Singapore and is now healthy again.

Millions of Rajinikanth fans are eagerly awaiting for the shooting to begin. Meanwhile, we will be able to see the Superstar in all his glory in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film. Ra.One, which is hitting the screens this Diwali.

Shankar’s 3 Idiots joins Sankranthi race

Shankar has officially completed the shooting of his upcoming Tamil film Nanban, the remake of Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots. Vijay, Jiiva, Sriram and Ileana play lead roles in this film. Recently, a duet on Ileana and Vijay was shot in Chennai and it was choreographed by Farah Khan. Remember, this was the song where Ileana had hurt her leg after she slipped few weeks ago. As the film’s shooting has been completed, Shankar has announced that the film will hit the screens for Sankranthi.

Harris Jayaraj has composed the music. Those who have seen parts of the film claim that Shankar has added his own touch on the original script and it has come out really well. Gemini Film Circuit has produced the film and it’ll be simultaneously released in Telugu and Tamil in January, 2012.
