Kamal Haasan has always been at the forefront of using the latest technology available when it comes to his films. Now, we hear that he has joined Facebook to keep in touch with his fans. His spokesman, Nikil Murugan revealed, “Ulaganayagan launched his official Facebook. Send a request to maiam.mag@gmail.com from your fb search to know more news & connected.” Over the past few months, Kamal Haasan was busy filming for his upcoming trilingual film Vishwaroopam, which will soon release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. He has played the lead role in the film apart from writing, directing and co-producing it. Prasad V Potluri has also co-produced the film on PVP Cinemas banner. Apart from Kamal Haasan, the film also stars Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah and Sekhar Kapoor. The film is reportedly based on the theme of global terrorism. Vishwaroopam’s first look is already out on the web and it’s going to hit the screens later this year.

Salman Khan @ Rs 300Cr movie?

With his back to back success in films like Dabangg, Bodyguard, Wanted, superstar Salman Khan is all set to make a history now. If reports are to be believed, Salman Khan was approached by producer Aascar Ravichandran to star in a multi-lingual epic opposite to Jackie Chan and Kamal Haasan.
Reportedly the film will be made in Hindi, Tamil and English with a whopping budget of Rs. 300 crores. Ravichandran informed a leading website, that he has been in talks with Jackie Chan about the film since last few years as the actor had earlier expressed his desire to star in a Bollywood film.
He further disclosed that the movie would have a different setup. If all goes well, this will turn out to be be the most expensive film in the history of Indian film industry.

Kamal 'Viswaroopam' @ Cannes Film Festival!!

This is indeed a Big news for Kollywood as well as Kamal fans.
Kamal Hassan who was recently seen speeding up things for his upcoming Viswaroopam has got a valid reason it seems.
'Festival de Cannes' is One of the prestigious and publized International film festival which takes place in Cannes, France each year and it is their 65th year film festival.
The surprise is the Cannes film festival team has extended its deadline for submission of Kamal's Viswaroopam. So things are hurried up to submit the film before March 15th.
This time an Indian film will be giving a tough competition says trade circles. The film festival will be held from 16 to 27 May 2012.

Kamal Hassan @ to act in Enthiran Part 2 !!

This is going to be a shocking surprise for Ulaganayagan fans. Earlier in 1998 it was Kamal Hassan who was signed to do Robo(Enthiran) but it was kept aside for technical reasons.
Later in 2011 Rajinikanth acted and it turned out to be blockbuster of the year. But even after that Shankar was keen on making a sequel adds sources but since it requires more strain Rajini wouldn't be preferrred for health reasons.
But with Kamal it can be possbile, also there are possiblities of Rajinikanth to act in Indian sequel. Since Indian story was made keeping the Superstar in mind adds sources.
Seems like director Shankar is going for sequels on the lines of Hollywood films.

Father Hurts Director @ Daughter Satisfies Him!!

A trend for top heroes in film-circuits is to pick successful directors for their upcoming projects. Yet, this legendary actor is an exception to it as he picks and hurts them, because he himself feels like a director always.
Kamal Hassan, the meritorious actor in Indian Film circuits is creating flutters again with his 'Viswaroopam' movie news. Sometime last year, he has picked and ousted creative director Selvaraghavan from the project and decided to take the captaincy himself. Poor Selva got hurt at that time with these acts of Kamal and never vowed to work with any of Kamal's gang.
Off late, he changed his mind and is heard finalizing Shruti Hassan, Kamal's daughter, for his upcoming bilingual movie. 'Though Kamal gave a blow to him, Shruti's mesmerizing acting skills bowled him out', an insider quoted. 'Had he directed 'Viswaroopam', Kamal will walk away with the craze. But if he directs Shruti, craze will be on his side for the wise acts', he adds. If reports are to be believed, the hero of this film is said to be none other than stylish star Allu Arjun.

Tamil film @ Release Sets New Record!!

This month of February will be remarkable one in the History of Tamil cinema. Within the 3 weeks of this month a total of 13 films has been released setting a new record.
Usually Tamil films don't get released close-to-close says trade analysts. But this is an unexpected and welcomed change in Tamil cinema.
The reason is that Top actors like Rajinikanth, Kamalhassan, Ajith, Vijay, Surya, Vikram, Dhanush, Simbu, Karthi's films are lined up to release only on festival seasons. So all other films are hitting the silver screen in a rapid way.

Kamal @ revives Marudhanayagam with Rajini!!

Kamal Haasan is planning to restart his most ambitious project Marudhanayagam, which was halted in early 1997, due to budget issues. Now interestingly Ulaganayagan has an important role for which he wanted to rope in Superstar Rajinikanth.
Birdies say Marudhanayagam is a period film that is taken from the life of 18th century warrior Mohammed Yusuf Khan. Kamal is keen to revive this big budget movie that costs around 150 crores and he wanted to screen it in Telugu, Hindi and English alongside Tamil. When asked about the details Kamal said, “Marudhanayagam is done with 25% of shooting and coincidentally we stopped it exactly where ten years are supposed to pass in the life of the hero.”
Kamal speaking about sharing the screen with Rajinikath in this film said, “Yes, we have a role that is ideal for Rajini in this film.” Concluding the talks Ulaganayagan said, “We have acted together in ten films in our career start, but no one has come up with a worthful script so far. It is up to me to bell the cat now."

KamalHasan-JackieChan @ to beat Rajini Kanth!!!

Till now, ‘Robot’ of Rajinikanth is rated as the highest ever budgeted flick in South India or few may call it even on Indian screen. Though unofficial, it is almost confirmed that Universal Star Kamal Hasan and Hollywood Star jackie chan are to join hands working together for a multi-lingual project to be produced by Ascar Ravichandran of Ascar films.
Here is the latest buzz. As soon as Kamal completes shooting of his new film ‘Vishwaroopam’ currently on sets, he will jump on to Ascar Films venture. Remuneration which jackie chan is offered for working on this tentatively titled ‘Thalaivan Irukkindraan’ is something around Rs.40 Crores and total budget of the film is Rs.200 Crores which Kamal himself will be directing. Movie will be released in Tamil, English, Telugu and other European languages.

Katrina @ Opposite Prabhas in Shankar's film?

If the gossips are to be believed, young rebel star prabhas is going to work with South Indian great director Shankar. As per the sources, Shankar is planning to make a tri-lingual movie in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. Prabhas, Kamal Hassan and Mohanlal will be the heroes in the three languages respectively.
Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif is considered to be the heroine for all the languages. So, we can expect that she will be pairing up with Prabhas in Telugu version of the movie. Jackie Chan is likely to play an important role. A.R.Rehman will compose the music for this interesting project. It is understood that the makers confirmed the movie's title for Tamil version as 'Thalaivan Irukkindran'. Oskar Ravi Chandran will produce this crazy project. However, the official confirmation of this project is awaited.

Katrina Kaif @ to pair up with Kamal & Rajini!!

The top actress Katrina Kaif, who was approached to pair opposite Superstar Rajinikanth in Kochadaiyaan, is on cloud nine as she was asked to team up with Kamal Haasan for Thalaivan Irukkiran.
Soundarya Ashwin, the debutant director has moved towards Kat to play Thalaivar love interest in Kochadaiyaan for which the latter has to re-schedule her dates. Now Aascar Ravichandran has offered Katrina to play Kamal’s lead lady in Thalaivan Irukkiran.

Kamal Hassan's much expected movie is Viswaroopam. The film was shot in the beautiful localities of UK and US so far. But now Kamal Hassan's returned back to hometown.
