It is known news that Balayya would be seen in the new movie 'Aditya 999' a sequel to his yesteryears hit 'Aditya 369'. This is going to be directed by veteran Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and here is the byte. It is heard that Balayya was very particular about having the awesome beauty Anushka as the leading lady.
However, the latest update is that Anushka has reportedly declined the offer and she has mentioned 'date issues' as the problem. Currently, Anushka is busy with her Tamil projects and she also has 'Damarukam' with Nagarjuna. What remains to be seen is, who can take Anushka's coveted place and become Balayya's leading lady.

Yalamanchili Saibabu who earlier produced 'Sri Ramarajyam' with Balakrishna is set to produce Bhatti Vikramarka remake on Sri Saibaba Movies banner. The first look poster of Balakrishna in the movie unveiled on the occasion of his 52nd birthday is amazing and have resembles of his father Late NTR. In the current generation, Balakrishna is the only hero in Tollywood who can pull of both mythological and devotional roles with ease. Balayya Babu is looted?

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s house in the Banjara Hills is robbed. As per the reports, around 350 grams worth gold ornaments were robbed. Balakrishna registered a complaint in Jubilee Hills police station. This incident took place on May 24 when Mrs. Vasundhara balakrishna left on a summer vacation with family members while balakrishna is also out of station busy with shooting schedules. The case was filed in Banjara Hills police station and it's under investigation. Police suspect the hand of insiders and as always they are first soft targets for any such incidents.Untill now there is no information on culprit, Stay tuned for more information.

Shocking @ ADHINAYAKUDU Collections!!

Balakrishna’s recent Telugu movie Adhinayakudu, which released world wide on June 1, has reportedly done good business at the Box Office in India. According to trade experts, the Paruchuri Murali directed movie has raked in more than Rs 20.5 crores at the collection centres in first weekend. Adhinayakudu opened to a very good response on Friday with its occupancy ranging between 70% to 100% in single screens and 50% to 75% in multiplexes across the country. The movie collected approximately Rs 7.2 crores at the Box Office on the first day of its release

Power Holidays @ A Death Blow to Tollywood

Till now, there is a opinion in public that piracy is the biggest threat for Telugu Film Industry. But the government's inability to supply electricity to the theaters is making them think otherwise.
A three days 'power holiday' has been announced to cinema halls in as many as five districts of AP, which means power willn't be supplied for theaters. Including East and West, three more coastal districts were in this list. Most of the theaters were already shut in these districts, as the capacity of the existing generators won't be sufficient to run 4 shows per day. At the time when the Industry is rejoicing with the news of biggest summer (Racha, Dammu and Gabbar Singh), the lack of power supply to theaters ruined their happiness.
One of the reasons why Producers were keen to release their films in Summer season is people prefer to watch films for Air Condition, due to heavy power cuts in residential areas. As power holiday is in affect now, they have no other option but to experience the heat generated by the scorching sun. Shame on Government!

Adhinayakudu @ Beats Gabbar Singh!!

Balakrishna‘s latest Telugu movie Adhinayakudu, which is directed by Parachuri Murali, has beaten previous weeks’ releases like Gabbar Singh (GB) and Daruvu at the USA Box Office. The movie has raked in Rs 10 lacs, while GB and Daruvu earned Rs 5 lacs and Rs 1 lac, respectively at the collection centres across America. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh,Adhinayakudu, which was released in USA on Friday, June 1, opened to an average response. The movie collected Rs 545,158 lacs ($9,844) at the Box Office on the first day of its release in the country. Its business went down on Saturday. It added Rs 460,041 lacs ($8,307) to its two days’ total collection Rs 1,005,200 lacs. Pawan Kalyan starrer film Gabbar Singh, which was released in America on May 11, is still running strong at the USA Box Office in the fourth week. The movie collected Rs 185,467 lac ($3,349) on Friday and Rs 302,596 lacs ($5,464) on Saturday. The film has raked in a total of Rs 5.64 crores ($1,016,276) in 23 days in the country. However, Ravi Teja starrer Daruvu, which was released in the country on May 25, is also faring well at the Box Office in the second week. The movie collected Rs 55,517 ($1,002) on Friday and Rs 84,495 ($1,525) on Saturday. The film has raked in a total of Rs 31.75 lacs ($57,159) in nine days.

Adhinayakudu Gets a weak reception

After going through endless turmoil under production and post production, Adhinayakudu finally got released on Friday. Despite raising curiosity with political dialogues, Adhinayakudu didn’t open big at the box office. However, Adhinayakudu got better openings compared to Balakrishna’s Parama Veera Chakra. The talk and reviews for this film are not encouraging though. Balakrishna fans like it but other sections of audiences are not pleased with the content. This is an age of entertainers and only such movies are doing well. Hence, Adhinayakudu which is high on politics and family drama isn’t getting the attention of entertainment seekers.

Balayya's @ Aditya 999, A remake of Hollywood film!

A sequel to the classic Aditya 369 is surely a herculean task and it require guts to attempt such thing. There is now tremendous pressure on Balakrishna and the team of Aditya 999. Can they deliver the best? 
In fact, the time machine concept in this film is loosely inspired from Hollywood super hit 'Back To The Future', which was released in the year 1985.  This film began the trend of franchise in Hollywood. Two more sequels 'Back To The Future '2' and '3' were released in 1989 and 1990.
Aditya 999, the sequel of Balayya's 1991 super hit, is speculated to be a remake of 'Back To The Future '2' or '3'. Sangeetam Srinivasa Rao, who directed the original, will be directing the sequel too. Music of the film is by Manisharma and cinematography by Jayanan Vincent. Balayya played dual role in the original, one as a modern day youth and the other as Sri Krishna Deva Raya. It will be interesting to see how many roles Balayya will be playing in the sequel and how it would shape up. The regular shooting of the film will start from August this year.

Balakrishna’s @ Aditya 999 from August

Here comes the latest update on Balakrishna’s proposed sequel titled Aditya 999 to his 1991 film Aditya 369! Balakrishna will romance three heroines in this flick to be directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao who directed the original. Sources said that the makers are planning to rope in three heroines for the sci-fi film including Anushka. The shooting will start in August. The film is produced by Vinod Suryadevara and presented by Konda Krishnam Raju. Jayanan Vincent wields the camera, while Mani Sharma composes the music.

Nandamuri Balakrishna fans have been treated with Simha two years ago and the actor is due for another success since then. His latest film Adhinayakudu has created enough buzz with few political dialogues and mass masala content. Did Balakrishna get it right this time? Is Adhinayakudu a movie worth the wait?

What is it about?
Political rivals of Seema leader RamaKrishna (Balakrishna) plans to kill him by hiring a professional killer Bobby (Balakrishna). When Bobby realizes that Ramakrishna is his father he starts protecting him. But there is a dark past that separates the father and son. What is that is revealed in the latter part of the story.

Performances:
Balakrishna gave a marvelous performance in three roles. His body language for all the three characters in very different and that shows the greatness of the actor. However, he should have taken care of the makeup used for middle aged role and the younger one. Balakrishna dances with excellent energy and that is a treat to watch.
Lakshmi Rai plays the role of a glam doll. Pradeep Rawat's villainy is Okay. Kota Srinivasa Rao is good and Murali Sharma is natural. Jayasudha steals the show in sentiment scenes. Brahmanandam's funny alien comedy works in parts. Rest of the cast did their best.

On the Technical Front:
Kalyani Malik's music is passable. Songs in the second half are good. Background score is alright. Cinematography is good. Editing is adequate. Dialogues are written by the director himself and there are ample dialogues to get whistles from the fans.
Paruchuri Murali handled the scenes on middle aged role and old age role with great command. Had he taken good care on the scenes of young Balakrishna, it would have been much better than what it is now.

Analysis:                                                                                  
First half of the film concentrates on entertainment factor. Scenes on Balakrishna and Brahmanandam provide comic relief. Watch out for the introduction scene of Brahmanandam. Lakshmi Rai provides the mass masala factor. However the scenes on her have been dragged a bit too much.
Story gathers pace as the second character of Balakrishna enters the show. He takes the film to the next level and the movie reaches a high at the interval point. Second half is much better with nice family drama and political drama taking the driving seat.
However, inconsistency in screenplay mars the show. There is a good scene and it is followed up with a downer. More or less the graph is same throughout the second half. Nevertheless it will be liked by Balakrishna fans. There is not much in offer for families and female crowds. Masses may like to see Balakrishna in three different avatars.
Verdict:  Adhinayakudu is Balakrishna's show!

First Talk @ Adhinayakudu Is Politically Hit

Balakrishna's long awaited movie, Adhinayakudu has hit theatres finally amidst hype and expectations. Here goes the first talk of it.
Balayya is an exception always when it comes to delivering punch dialogues and it is proved once again with 'Adhinayakudu' it seems. They say that first half is a high voltage action treat while second half is stricken with emotion and sentiment. Like all those Balayya's movies, heroines are used to a max once again to fulfil the desires of lusting fans. Lakshmi Rai as a whole and Saloni in a song are shaking the masses with their raw glamour. Action episodes and fighting scenes are as usual at their cinematic best sans liberties to enthral fan base. 
However keeping the commercial success of this movie aside, cine lovers are saying that it will surely help Balayya's political career. Every dialogue of the movie seemed to be a punch for opposition parties in the state. Watch out for our review in that regular column!

Will @ Adhinayakudu end Nandamuri woes?

Nandamuri heroes are long due for a hit and it is high time for them to deliver one. After ruling the box office in 2010, Nandamuri heroes failed to live up to the expectations in 2011. Recently released Dammu too ended up as an average fare. This is the time when Mahesh Babu and Mega heroes are having a feast at the box office.
So Nandamuri fans too want their share of joy with a powerful hit. Amidst all this Adhinayakudu is releasing this Friday. Despite being stalled for so many days in the cans, Adhinayakudu has created enough buzz with the dialogue trailers and suddenly the film turns hot in the trade. Nandamuri fans are hoping that Balakrishna will roar like he did for Simha.
Balakrishna has a knack of delivering hits out of nowhere and that is the reason why anybody can't write him off. Adhinayakudu has the ammo to set the box office on fire. All it needs is to 'match' the pulse of audience and current trend. Hope it ends the woes of Nandamuri fans and put smile back on their faces. 

Babais @ are better than Abbais...

The Babai-Abbai story is quite prominent in the Telugu film industry and it must be said that there are many times when comparisons happen between both. The notable Babai-Abbai duo is Balakrishna- Jr NTR, Pawan Kalyan- Ram Charan, Venkatesh- Daggubati Rana.
Now, in all cases, the talk is that the Babais are better than Abbais. This is in terms of the box office performances, fan following and the type of films chosen. Taking the recent times, Balayya's 'Simha' was way ahead of Junior's 'Dammu'. Pawan's 'Gabbar Singh' was much better than Charan's 'Racha'.
Venky's 'Bodyguard' was decent than Rana's 'Naa Ishtam'. Of course, it must be said that the times of the Babais except Pawan Kalyan is almost coming to an end and it is the time for the Abbais to continue the legacy forward. But can they take it up responsibly and show some strength??

N T R - The Legend Remembered...

He is considered the legend who has become immortal. He is the demigod who became a personification of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna to many Telugu people. He is the force who created a new political power with a strong Telugu identity. He is an icon whose records can never be beaten.
He is none other than N T Rama Rao and today happens to be his birth anniversary. Though it has been years since N T R left us, there are many of his loyal fans who remember him and perform special activities on his birth anniversary. Till date, the Nandamuri fans have a strong respect for NTR.
Even a small presence of his for few seconds as library shots onscreen results in whistles and claps. Blessed with an exceptional dialogue delivery and a screen presence that is divine, the best phrase to describe N T Rama Rao is 'Na Bhootho Na Bhavishyathi..'. 

Balayya: No Influence Of NTR On Me

With 'Adhinayakudu' inching for release, Balayya is opening his mouth about this delayed flick. The Nandamuri hero shared his thoughts about the political backdrop of this flick, including the influence of his legendary father on him.
While the senior balayya's look in the film resembles senior NTR's look in 'Badi Panthulu' and 'Kula Gowravam', Balayya denied it completely. But the hero asserts that he learnt discipline and sincerity from his father, which is in way missing from the younger brigade of heroes. 'I've never tried to imitate my father in any way. He advised me to develop a self style rather imitating someone including him. In that way there is no question of his influence', says Balayya.  It is an open secret that only Balayya succeeded in carrying the legacy of that legendary actor, while his other siblings just sparkled like that. 
Though the hero never responded about the reasons behind the delay in the release of this movie, he felt excited about the scheduled release on June 1st. Insiders revealed that this film has no connection with the present political scenario of the state and Balayya confirmed it. 'It is a nice family drama woven around the Rayalseema faction. Audience will get entertained for 2 hours in the most mesmerizing way', says Balayya after getting fingers crossed about the release.
