Mahesh Babu has got his own brand when it comes to his films and their impact at the box office. And he has never relied on his physique to impress the audience. However, given today’s demand, the hero is expected to be physically fit and flaunt the muscles wherever required.
That is something Mahesh’s bava Sudheer Babu has realized and his efforts have shocked even actor Sunil. Apparently, Sunil was being hailed for his fabulous body and his chiseled abs. It was a shocker to see him in ‘Poola Rangadu’. However, it is heard that Sunil himself is in a state of shock looking at Sudheer.
Well, Sudheer has slogged it out at the gym and has pumped himself up to build a fantastic physique. Recently, few stills were released wherein his eight-packs were revealed and the veins are simply waiting to jut out of the body. If Sudheer can deliver a performance like Sunil then he sure would become a tough competition.

Sunil @ in Naga Chaitanya's film - Conditions Apply !

Sunil has proved his mettle at the box office as a solo hero and there is no need for him to act with another hero in a role that is inferior to the actual hero. However, Sunil agreed to play such role in Vettai remake. As far as the original is concerned, Madhavan's character doesn't have much scope to hog the limelight. Arya is the hero and Madhavan is restricted to 'important character'.
When Bellamkonda Suresh offered this role to Sunil, the actor didn't show much interest in it. However, Bellamkonda promised to pay him the bigger paycheck among the star cast and lured him to get the dates. Sunil is happy to be the top salaried person for a film which has one star son as the lead. But he agreed to play this role only after asking for few changes.
Sunil wants two exclusive songs on him and little betterment done to the character from original to make it look like a hero. Bellamkonda agreed to all the demands and made Sunil happy. So, Chaitanya and Sunil will have equal roles in this film unlike the original Vettai. 

Sunil @ 'Poola Rangadu' Completes 50 days

Comedy Hero Sunil acted in the movie 'Poola Rangadu' as the main lead under the direction of Veerabadram under the Maxs India banner produced by K Achireddy and presented by R R movie makers, the movie was a super hit and it will completes 50 days in notable centers by April 7th.
Poola Rangadu has done exceptional business in B, C centers and did a fairly good job in A centers. It is estimated to collect a share of Rs. 15 crore. Movie makers released a press note in this regard. They thanked the audience for making movie one of the good hits in Telugu this year.
Anoop Rubens scored the music for this film. Isha Chawla is the female lead in this film. Prasad Murella, Goutam Raju, Sridhar Sisana, Ram Lakshman are the other technicians who worked for this movie.

Heroine @ Problems For Sunil!!

It is a very rare case that a comedian can get elevated to the range of a hero and command a following. Even if that obstacle is cleared, the next is finding the right kind of heroine. Right now, that seems to be the case with hero turned comedian Sunil who is riding a success wave as a hero.
Buzz is that Sunil is having issues in getting branded heroines as they are not coming forward to pair with him. Apparently, history has shown that once a noted heroine pairs with a comedian, she is not considered by the big heroes. Today, Sunil's latest movie under the direction of Devi Prasad is launched and guess who the chief guest is. None other than Megastar Chiranjeevi has graced this occasion to bless Sunil and team who are remaking the hind film 'Tanu Weds Manu'. A source who attended the function shared that Chiru showed a greater proximity with Sunil giving him tips in selecting scripts. On the other hand, he showered appreciations on the producers for selecting Sunil as their lead, saying that he has mass-appeal better than all other star heroes now.
Astonished with these comments of Megastar, Sunil is on cloud nine and is taking oath to promote himself as a mega-camp hero. Well, there are people who say till now has one 'touched' Sunil though he did well with comedian roles, but with the rising popularity for him as a hero, they are carrying umbrellas around him.

BoxOffice @ Nithin Gets Oxygen, Sunil Going Steady!!

The report has arrived from the collection centers and it appears that two movies are doing quite well. Firstly, the success run of ‘Poola Rangadu’ is continuing and it has been joined by ‘Ishq’. The film posters, the positive pre-release publicity, the different look of Nithin, Nithya Menen etc have worked.
‘Ishq’ has garnered good openings and strong positive talk. Nithin who was suffering a drought of hit has breathed relief and got oxygen with this. The film’s major credits must be attributed to the ace cinematographer P C Sriram and the different direction of Vikram Kumar who came up with ‘13B’ before.
‘Nippu’ which released last week is going very dull. ‘Love Failure’ is getting an average to above average collection graph. ‘Poola Rangadu’ is going stable with its collections.

ISHQ Dominates @ 'Poolarangadu' In Collections!!!

The collections of the film ‘Ishq’ are rocking up. The film has been bagging positive response from all corners and steadily increasing its collections. Many centers are recording houseful collections although the opening day collections were around 70% on an average.
It is known that the film ‘Poolarangadu’ is doing well at box office of B and C centers. But interestingly, despite a soft youthful urban love story, ‘Ishq’ is also making a big fortune at A, B and C centers.
Trade analysts are saying that if this speed continues in total run, Ishq may give a tough competition for Poola Rangadu. Right now the word of mouth publicity is getting stronger for ‘Ishq’. Let us wait and see.

Sunil and Isha Chawla, the pair that recently starred in Poola Rangadu, is all set to do another film. If the buzz is to be believed, Isha Chawla is singed in as the female lead in Telugu remake of Tanu weds Manu. Devi Prasad is directing this film.
Poola Rangadu has been a runaway hit at the box office and that prompted the makers to bring this pair together again. Tanu weds Manu was a good hit in Bollywood. Madhavan and Kangna Ranaut played the lead roles in it.
Isha Chawla has been making waves in Tollywood with back to back hits to her credit. She is also paired up with Balakrishna in Srimannarayana.

'Nippu' @ Shocking Records In USA!!

The weekend (3 days) collections reports of ‘Poola Rangadu’, ‘Love Failure’ and ‘Nippu’ have come from USA. While Poola Rangadu collected a reasonable US $ 75,000, ‘Love Failure’ collected US$ 60,000 and ‘Nippu’ made US$ 16000.
Here the shock element is with respect to ‘Nippu’. The film is in such pity condition that even small budget films with unknown faces do that collection in general when a positive talk is received. But despite the presence of Ravi Teja things didn’t work.
Coming to homeland, the collections of ‘Nippu’ were worse. Even the Sunday evening shows were not full in many theatres. For example, Tirupathi is a place where a good number of employees live. They make the theatres of new release films a definite houseful on Sunday for evening show. But shockingly, the main theatre in Tirupathi could not make full collection for that show. Even the small hero film gets full collections.
Coming to ‘Love Failure’ it’s another film that failed to reach expectations in collections. The collections were weak in B and C centers and even the multiplexes are observing a complete drop down. Only 50-60 percent collections are reporting from multiplexes. The total run of the film may fetch an estimated Rs 4 Cr share, say sources, despite good talk.
Surprisingly ‘Poola Rangadu’ has beaten Ravi Teja and Siddhardha in US market as well as in Indian market making Rs 10.60 Cr share till now.

Other than a couple of directors like SS Rajamouli, most of the talented film makers experienced flopped second-ventures. This is said to be second movie syndrome. But, Veerabhadram scored a hit with his second movie Poola Rangadu and now the talk is about his next. Coming to point, his first movie Aha Na Pellanta was said to be a direct lift of 2002 Korean movie 'Marrying The Mafia' (Gamuneui yeonggwang). With Allari Naresh and Srihari taking the leads, the film scored a substantial hit. His latest movie PR with Sunil is a remake of 2005 Malayalam film 'Pandippada'.
Critics are saying that remaking hit-movies by adding a touch of nativity is always a safe game as the director need not worry about story and it's receiving. Sunil @ Poolarangadu BoxOffice Collections Report!!

Poola Rangadu that released on 18th of this month made Rs 6 Cr share in 3 days as per trade reports. Adding to this the satellite rights were sold out at Rs 4.10 Cr as per the reports. And Karnataka made Rs 50 lakh share making the total share for 3 days landing at Rs 10.60 Cr.
The investment incurred on the making of the film was Rs 8 Cr and thus the film is on the plus side with a profit of Rs 2 Cr plus.
This is the successive hit from RR banner after Businessman which made a share of Rs 50 Cr approximately.
The eyes of entire Tollywood are pinned on RR Venkat and many are saying that whatever he is touching is turning gold.

Analysis @ Nippu vs LoveFailure vs PoolaRangadu

The Friday that went by saw the releases of three movies and it must be said that all three of them came in with very high expectations at the box office.
On the other hand, since the genre of the movies was slightly different, many felt that would not pose a dent in other films. Given the fact that it is also the Sivaratri weekend, the makers were dreaming to make the most of the long weekend.
So, here is a look at the three movies and what the fate of these movies turned out to be.
NIPPU:
This has Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in the lead and it is directed by Gunasekhar while YVS Chowdary is the producer. During their growing stages, the three of them were roommates and also, all three of them are currently going through a very lean patch in their careers due to nonstop flops. However, it appears that the string still continues.
Reports from box office reveal the film has been declared a dud. Primarily, the film lacked a proper storyline and then the execution also was weak. The performance of Ravi Teja was the saving grace to an extent.
LOVE FAILURE:
This is the debut production venture of hero Siddarth and he also gave chance to a debutante director Balaji Mohan. Sidz also played the lead role and he paired up with Amala Paul. Reports say that the film has struck a strong chord at the A-Centers and especially the Youth and multiplex audience.
Repeat audience factor is also working for the film and the packaging of the psychology of youngsters and their romances have been depicted well which worked for the viewers. Looks like Sidz has brought a hit for himself with his own money.
POOLA RANGADU:
A lot was spoken about the film for various reasons. Primarily, this was Sunil’s 4th film as a hero and many were curious to know if he can carry that in the lead.
Moreover, the fact that he sported a six pack was another curious point. This was the second directorial venture of Veerabhadram and the second film for heroine Isha Chawla.
According to the latest reports, the film looks set for a proper commercial hit. It has worked strongly at the B, C centers and mass audience is connecting to it. The masala elements are full and the formula for commercial viewers is perfect which resulted in this output.
Overall, the average looks positive as two hits out of three looks possible. However, since ‘Nippu’ happens to be a big hero film with big budget, the disappointment is being experienced.

The passion for cinema is his diriving force and what he was today is just because of hard work and dedication.
Currently, Sunil is enjoying the fruits of success. With the Comedian roles, he used to get 15-25 lakhs per film depending on the no. of working days. Now the Action Hero avatar is fetching him huge pay packet. Reportedly, Sunil has been charging Rs 3 crore as remuneration for a film, which is still under pre-production.
The talk in the Industry is that, It took Sunil 3 years to get the six-pack look and so is he charging Rs 3 crore per film at the moment. Story:
Ranga (Sunil), a real estate broker from Hyderabad buys a 30 acre land in Parkal village. Ranga reaches Parkal and join his childhood friend Vasu (Ali) learns the complexity behind selling the land. Two rival leaders from the samel village, Konda Reddy (Dev Gill) and Lala Goud ( Pradeep Rawat), are adamant on buying the land themselves as a prestige issue.
Both Ranga and Vasu figure it out the only way they could sell the land is by convincing both the rival leaders. Circumstances forces Ranga to join as henchman in Konda Reddy group. By staying in Konda Reddy group, Ranga tries to woo Anitha (Isha Chawla), daughter of Lala Goud so that she will help him in his mission.
The story takes different twists and turns before ending on a happy note.
Performance:
Ranga is just a tailor made role for Sunil. He justified it with perfection. His six pack body is terrific and needs applause for his hard work. One more highlight is his dancing skills.
Isha Chawla suited well for the role. Her selection as heroine is justified. Her acting skills and dancing skills are good.
Dev Gill, Pradeep Rawat and Pragathi acted well in their respective roles. Kota and Sudha are limited to couple of scenes. Ali, Rajesh and Raghu Babu excelled in comedy scenes. Duvvasi Mohan and Dhanraj are enjoyable.
Technical:
Director Veera Bhadram should be commended for choosing the right script for comedian turned hero Sunil. He perfectly handled the script and screenplay with enough twists and turns. He utilised every comedian to the perfect and maintained the entertaining levels throughout movie.
Anup Rubens music is good. Background score is above par. Prasad Murella cinematography is good. Sridhar Seepana dialogues are highlight. Goutham Raju editing is crisp.Production values are high.
Analysis:
'Poola Rangadu' movie is a wholesome entertainer what audience expects from Sunil movie. Director concentrated on Sunil strengths which are comedy and dances and weaved the screenplay around him. Director preserved the Sunil six pack curiosity till the climax and revealed it with perfect base. There are hardly any dull moments in the movie.
Finally: it is a colourful entertainer which can be watched by whole family.
