Now, Nanban, was proclaimed a blockbuster within 2 days of its release. Vijay finally kissed Ileana in the climax of movie Nanban. The lip lock between Vijay and Ileana was a topic of discussion since the day movie Nanban came into news. The movie Nanban is the remake of Hindi film 3 Idiots which has a lip lock kissing scene between Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the climax.


Director Shankar claimed right in the beginning that he will not change the script of the movie Nanban. However, he gave a few hints that he might change some scenes, keeping the Tamil audiences in mind. This hint by Shankar gave rise to the rumors that Shankar has removed the kissing scene from the movie but it finally happened.With this encore lip lock act, Nanban surely has the kiss of success!!
