Mahesh, NTR and Charan @ Who is next No.1?

With Mahesh Babu setting box office on fire with Dookudu, the discussion about the 'future no.1' resurfaced in media. There are certain factors that need to be 'checked' before declaring a number one hero. Delivering a blockbuster or two isn't enough for this.
First and foremost one is the consistency. Any hero should be consistent at the box office. Delivering one hit for five years isn't enough. A hero needs to be extremely consistent, say five hits out of six may be!

• A hero needs to prove his mettle in all the territories, be it Nizam, Andhra, Ceded and Overseas.
• Making films within short span of time
• Last but not the least, collections of a flop film shows the real power of a star.

Mahesh Babu, NTR and Ram Charan are the front-runners for the future number one spot considering their fan base, crowd pulling capabilities and etc. But none of them proved to check all the above. At the moment it is advantage Mahesh as he is riding high with Dookudu.If The Businessman and Seethamma Vakitlo... hit the bull's eye then it will be extremely tough for others to stop him from reaching the top! NTR too needs at least three big hits in a row to compete with Mahesh's current 'Dookudu'. Ram Charan is not as experienced as these superstars, but is blessed with the super solid fan base. He needs to work at quick pace and deliver huge hits to stay in the race.
