It statistics have to be believed, Vijay starrer Nanban has touched nearly Rs 40 crore in collections within a week of its release.
This is perhaps the second biggest opening for any film after Endhiran, say trade analysts.The movie directed by Shankar features Vijay, Srikanth and Jeeva. A remake of Hindi hit Three Idiots; Vijay played the role enacted by Aamir Khan in the original.
What is surprising is that the movie had no punch dialogues or stunts by Vijay. He played a different role but yet it clicked.
