Businessman @ Negative talk - A publicity gamble?

Finally as we near Pongal, festive season for Tollywood, Mahesh Businessman gets maximum attention, with other movies walking out of the race.It is well known belief in Film industry that if any movie get too much of publicity, movie most likely fails to reach that humongous expectations.Puri seems to have understood that very well.


Of-late we are hearing many negative reports about the movie.There are reports that Businessman lacks entertaining comedy and movie is weak in second half.But sources suggest that this kind of publicity is deliberate from movie team to reduce the expectations bar, which is at the peak now.Even in the recent press meet, puri hinted that Businessman is different from Pokiri and we should not the weigh the movie against the duo's previous venture.
This negative publicity is adopted by many movies in the past, classic example being Shankar's Robot.We have to wait for another few days to find out whether this is gamble from Businessman team or movie as such lacks required content that can match upto the huge expectations.
