Rana and Genelia's 'Naa Istham' first look

Rana and Genelia have paired up together for a love story titled Naa Ishtam. The movie has already completed major portion of shoot in foreign locations and has now begun its shoot in Hyderabad from Tuesday, October 11, 2011. 

Rana who was busy shooting for Ram Gopal Varma's Hindi film, Department , has joined the shoot of this new Telugu film being directed by newcomer Prakash Toleti. 

The film is produced by Parachuri Kiriti of Simha fame and has music by Chakri.

Despite Dookudu being a big hit, Samantha didn't get much of recognition from the common audience as her role didn't have any significance in the movie. Samantha though disappointed a bit, said that she is happy with the film's result.

Mahesh Babu, who understood that she has a valid reason to feel disappointed, promised to offer her a pivotal role in one of his upcoming films, say film nagar buzz. If the buzz is to be believed, Samantha might play the female lead in Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh starrer Seethamma Vakitlo sirimalle Chettu.
Samantha has given bulk dates to Autonagar Surya and Gowtham Menon's trilingual movie and therefore will have to adjust all her call sheets to bag this film. SVSC is a family entertainer set in rural atmosphere and Samantha will have a notable role if she could lap it up. If she is zeroed in opposite him this time around, then Mahesh will make sure to utilize her talent to the fullest. 

Superstar's Sexy Daughter plays Waiting Game

Superstar Kamal Haasan's sexy daughter Shruti Haasan is currently making waves in south film industry. She has a series of promising films that are lined up both in Tamil and Telugu. She doesn't have a single hit till date to boast of, but is still the most wanted heroine among her contemporaries.

Shruti Haasan is not in a hurry now to take up new projects though. She is playing the waiting game as a couple of her films are getting ready for release soon. Shruti wants to sign new films only after these movies hit the screens. She believes that Seventh Sense with Surya and Murugadoss would give her the necessary impetus to rule Kollywood.

Shruti also has O My Friend movie in Telugu which has the lucky man Dil Raju behind the screen. She is very confident about both the films that she is not signing any new assignments. Sources are saying that Rajasekhar kicked Jeevitha out of his film career as she is lagging it a lot. In fact, Jeevitha is said to be the person behind shelving of Rajasekhar's latest MAHANKALI. Constantly, all technicians from director to cameraman, lyricist to music director of the flick walked out of the project due to her torture.
To keep his cine-jyothi flaring, Rajasekhar has reportedly avoided the influence of his wife in his latest offering. Currently, he is doing a project titled ARJUNA under the direction of Kanmani. To avoid abrupt shutting down of the movie's shooting, Rajasekhar avoided Jeevitha's presence, a unit member revealed.
Though the shooting is going smooth, Jeevitha is still instructing the make-up persons and assistant directors to look after her husband. Well, Rajasekhar kicked Jeevitha out of the project dudes, not from life!

'Ippatikinka' Vs 'Poovai Poovai': Which Is Hot?

It is a common thing to see clashes between heroes and their films or music directors and their tunes. But this time, a clash is being seen between two songs and they are item songs. Well, a hot talk is happening on which among the two numbers can be deemed as the best and hottest item song.
Those two are ‘Ippatikinka Naa Vayasu…’ from the blockbuster ‘Pokiri’ and this was penned by Bhaskarabhatla with music by Mani Sharma. The other one is ‘Poovai Poovai Antu Auto Appa Rao..’ penned by Ramajogayya Sastry and music is composed by Thaman.
The talk is “Comparatively ‘Ippatikinka…’ has got that rich flavour and durability factor. For ‘Poovai poovai….’ it got the aura from the success of ‘Dookudu’ and also due to the retro feel of the 80s in its music. However, Ramajogayya did justice to the lyrics in this song. As such, both are hot item songs. But going by individual taste ‘Poovai poovai…’ is super. In terms of the girls who performed, more than Mumaith, Parvathy Melton got the edge and hot appeal.”

ఒక్క పాత్రలో అన్ని ఎమోషన్లు పలికించడం కష్టం అనిపించలేదా?

అనిపించలేదు. నాకిది నచ్చిన కథ. దాంతో ఇష్టంగా చేశాను. మొదటి మూడురోజులు మీరన్నట్లు కాస్త కష్టం అనిపించినా తర్వాత ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తూ ఈ కేరక్టర్ చేశాను. తండ్రీ కొడుకుల మధ్య ఉండే అనుబంధం ఒకపక్క, పోలీసుగా ఒకపక్క, ఎంటర్‌టైన్‌మెంట్ వేలో మరో పక్క... ఇలా విభిన్నమైన యాంగిల్స్ ఉన్నాయి ఆ పాత్రలో. ఒక విషయంలో మాత్రం ‘దూకుడు’ నాకు చాలా హెల్ప్ చేసింది. మొన్నటిదాకా ‘పోకిరి’ చట్రంలో ఇరుక్కుపోయాన్నేను. ఆ ఇమేజ్ నుంచి బయటపడేసిన చిత్రం ‘దూకుడు’. ‘పోకిరి’ రికార్డుని బ్రేక్ చేయడానికి నాకు చాలా రోజులు పట్టింది. అలాంటి పరిస్థితి మళ్లీ రాదని అనుకుంటున్నాను. ఎందుకంటే, ఒక్క పాత్రలో ఇన్ని షేడ్స్ పోషించాను కాబట్టి.. ఇక ఎలాంటి పాత్ర అయినా పోషించగలనన్న నమ్మకం నాకు ‘దూకుడు’ కలిగించింది.

మీరు అందుకున్న బెస్ట్ కాంప్లిమెంట్?

నాన్నగారు ఫోన్ చేసి కంగ్రాట్స్ చెప్పడమే బెస్ట్ కాంప్లిమెంట్. ఆయన 80 కోట్లు కలెక్ట్ చేస్తుందని చెప్పారు. పూరి జగన్నాథ్ అయితే బ్రహ్మానందంకి ధీటుగా కామెడీ చేశావన్నాడు. అలాగే రాజమౌళి కూడా. ఇంతమంది కాంప్లిమెంట్లు పొందడం చాలా ఆనందంగా ఉంది.

సినిమాలో మీ పాత్ర కాకుండా మీకు నచ్చిన మరో పాత్ర ఏమిటి?
ప్రకాష్‌రాజ్ కేరక్టర్. శ్రీను వైట్ల దాన్ని చాలా కొత్తగా డిజైన్ చేశాడు.

ఫస్ట్ టైమ్‌లో ఎమ్మెల్యే గెటప్‌లో కనిపించడం ఎలాంటి అనుభూతినిచ్చింది?
కొత్తగా ఉంది. సినిమాకి హైలైట్ అవుతుందని అందరం అనుకున్నాం. నా మెడలో పులిగోరు, వైట్ అండ్ వైట్ డ్రస్ అందరికీ నచ్చింది. నాక్కూడా బాగా నచ్చింది.

విదేశాల్లో కూడా ఈ సినిమా సక్సెస్ అవ్వడంపట్ల మీ ఫీలింగ్?

‘3 ఇడియట్స్’ ఓవర్‌సీస్‌లో నంబర్ వన్ ప్లేస్‌లో ఉంటే.. నంబర్ 2 ప్లేస్‌లో ‘దూకుడు’ ఉంది. పది కోట్లకు పైనే అక్కడ వసూలు చేసింది ఈ సినిమా. మన దగ్గర నైజాం కలెక్షన్లతో సమానంగా ఓవర్‌సీస్‌లో వసూలు చేసింది. మన తెలుగువారందరూ గర్వపడాల్సిన విషయం.

‘సీతమ్మ వాకిట్లో సిరిమల్లె చెట్టు’ కేరక్టరైజేషన్ ఎలా ఉంటుంది?కేరక్టరైజేషన్ గురించి ఇప్పుడే చెప్పకూడదు. అయితే వెంకటేష్‌గారితో చేయడం మాత్రం ఆనందంగా ఉంది. ఆయనది ఫ్రెండ్లీ నేచర్. ఇందులో మేమిద్దరం అన్నదమ్ములుగా నటిస్తున్నాం. శ్రీకాంత్ అడ్డాల చెప్పిన కథ నాకు చాలా నచ్చింది. రేపు ప్రేక్షకులకు కూడా నచ్చుతుందని అనుకుంటున్నాను.

Teja’s ‘Neeku Naaku Dash Dash’ shooting started!

Director Teja’s new film titled ‘Neeku Naaku Dash Dash’ film was launched on Yesterday (October 6th) on the auspicious day of Vijaya Dasami. The movie was launched at a private guest house near Miyapur. In this flick he is introducing the new faces as the lead pair and he is also selected the new comers to other lead roles in the film. He selected the actors in Talent Search Hunt conducted through media. The film is said to be a love story. Earlier Teja also introduced many actors to the Tollywood with his films like Chithram, Nuvvu Nenu and Jayam.

Neeku Naaku Dash Dash film will be produced by V Ananda Prasad of Bhavya Creations. Teja is also introducing a new music director to the Tollywood with this film. Teja is planning to complete the entire shooting of the film in a single schedule.
