Director Prabhu Deva's latest Bollywood movie Rowdy Rathore, which features Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the leads, has done wonders at the Box Office on the first day. The action thriller has raked in Rs 15.10 crores nett at the collection centres across India. With this, it has become the biggest non-holiday Friday opener.
Rowdy Rathore, which got decent reviews from film critics, opened to a massive response at the Box Office with its occupancy ranging between 95% to 100% in single screens and 55% to 70% in multiplexes across the country. Its first day collection was beyond the expectations of trade experts.
On his Twitter page, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “#RowdyRathore *India* Fri 15.10 cr nett. Biggest non-holiday Friday opener. O-U-T-S-T-A-N-D-I-N-G!” He also revealed the area-wise collections of the film Rowdy Rathore, which seems to be more than recent hit Bollywood movies.
