Speaking about the top league stars of Tollywood the list is long as it comprises of Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun etc. But if one has to point out who is the number one among them then the name of Mahesh springs first. So, the question is, who can give the prince of Tollywood some competition.
They are the top league heroes of Tollywood, but keeping Pawan Kalyan aside the cine analysts say that only two young guns have the capacity to do that. They are the duo of NTR and Charan. Apparently, they are the only two stars who have massive following across all genres of audience.
But to be a worthy competitor, the result should be seen at box office. So, both Charan and NTR have got their movies coming. While Charan has ‘Rachcha’, he is followed by NTR with ‘Dammu’. That way, both these movies are quite crucial. And if Mahesh scores another string of hits with ‘SVSC’ and the one with Sukumar then the gap will widen further. Let us see how this goes.
Pawan Kalyan's absence at Racha audio event has been the topic of the month. Media made a meal out of it by writing too much about it. If the sources are to be believed media is in for a treat from Power star as he decided to attend the launch of audio of NTR's Dammu. NTR, who invited Charan to Badshah launch, has invited Pawan Kalyan to Dammu audio launch it seems.
Pawan Kalyan generally doesn't attend events of other heroes, but he obliges to the personal requests at times. Recently he graced the audio launch of Nitin's Ishq. NTR personally called and invited power star to Dammu audio launch is what the buzz says. If that is the case then Pawan's absence at Racha audio launch would be highlighted yet again.
NTR is maintaining good relations with all the mega heroes. He has been a good friend of Allu Arjun since many years and he is turning out to be the close buddy of Charan of late. He has high regard of Pawan Kalyan. Rumor has it that NTR signed two films for Bandla Ganesh as Pawan Kalyan recommended him to the young star! Well, the mega bond is certainly growing stronger by the day.
There is a major shuffling going on between the release dates of summer biggies. Postponement of Racha is creating problems for the other releases and there would be adjustments done by the makers of those films. The competition is primarily between Racha and Dammu which will be released in April. Gabbar Singh will release in May, so there won't be direct impact of it on these films.
However, Racha and Dammu are going to face the music of Rajamouli. Eega is expected to release in April. The date is not yet fixed as the post production work is taking more time than anticipated. But it would release sometime in April irrespective of the competition. Which means Eega is going to eat into the business of Racha and Dammu.
Rajamouli was the person who gave biggest hits to NTR and Charan in their respective careers. But this time he would be locking horns with the stars that he had made. Let's see how would they respond and withstand against the master filmmaker, who is known as the best doctor to read the pulse of masses.
