Mahesh Babu Conquers Chennai Box Office

Prince and Superstar Mahesh Babu conquered the Chennai Box-Office (CBO) as his latest release Dookudu emerges as the number 1 grosser during September 23 to 25 weekend. According to the Chennai reporters, Mahesh Babu's Dookudu has netted approximately Rs 51 lakhs from 17 Chennai screens and is in the number1 position. With this thumping record, Mahesh Babu joins the elite group of other language actors like Aamir Khan, Shah Rukha Khan and Salman Khan to open in the No.1 slot at the Chennai box office in terms of collections. Back in AP, Dookudu is a red-hot hit as the crowd goes berserk at the theaters. Even in USA, Dookudu gone past the million dollar mark in just couple of days setting a new Telugu cinema record.

NTR looking super cool

Young Tiger NTR has tremendous mass appeal and his terrific Box Office stamina has been proven time and again. His super star status in B and C centers is unquestionable. Off late, he has been trying to slowly attract the A center crowds and the ladies as well. He tried a new cool ‘lover boy look’ in Brindavanam successfully and the film did attract A center crowds rather well.
In his new upcoming movie ‘Oosaravelli’, one can see that NTR is once again sporting a new look. He is looking uber cool and very stylish. And his look is definitely winning a lot of admirers. Even the music album of the movie has a new and very fresh feel to it. Oosaravelli is being directed by stylish director Surender Reddy and BVSN Prasad is the producer. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for this film.
The movie is all set to release across the world of October 6th in a big way and with the music album already setting charts on fire, Oosaravelli looks set to make it big at the Box Office. Let us hope and wish that NTR scores for the Telugu Film Industry.

Pawan Kalyan Lost His Craze

Power star Pawan Kalyan, who was once considered as number one material has been running through rough phase in his career for over a decade's time. He failed to show his power at box office like Mahesh Babu or Jr. NTR (to some extent) did in these ten years and even the age is not on his side now. He is into forties and wasted his prime doing good for nothing films.

Pawan Kalyan's present lineup of films too doesn't raise any interest and none of them have that 'much awaited' feel associated to them. His current film with Vishnuvardhan is not even gaining the attention of Power star hardcore fans. Gabbar Singh is a remake of Dabangg which has nothing to rave about.
No star director is doing films with him and the star himself is not planning his career in a proper manner. As of now Pawan Kalyan is a gone case in terms of delivering a blockbuster. Only a miracle could help him do that with the lineup he has.

Ram Charan puts kerchief on Srinu Vaitla

Ram Charan has the top grosser film on his name and it will surely be with him for few more years until or unless a film of Magadheera caliber is made. Even though Mahesh fans are expecting Dookudu to beat Magadheera, it certainly doesn't have legs to go that far, say trade experts. Despite having Magadheera to his credit, Ram Charan is not a happy man as he is facing problems to shape up his career in right direction. He is currently doing Racha with Sampath Nandi, who is yet to prove his mettle as a director. Charan is still confused about his immediate project after Racha. He desperately needs to work with frontline directors to be on the 'hot list'.
Ram Charan watched Dookudu and was bowled over by Srinu Vytla's direction. He is particularly impressed with the way he balanced Mahesh's mighty image and his style of taking. Therefore, he personally met Srinu and congratulated on the grand success. He wished to make a film with him soon but the director is planning to make his next with NTR Jr. So Charan's wish is currently on Srinu's waiting list. It will take some time to get confirmed. Meanwhile Charan might do a film under Vamsy Paidipally direction.

No looking back for Mahesh Babu

Mahesh Babu is back to work now after enjoying the success of Dookudu. He is currently busy with The Businessman movie under Puri Jagannadh direction. After this Mahesh will start working for Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, which will have Venkatesh in a key role. Mahesh also waved green to director Sukumar who has reportedly written a wonderful script.

Looking at the superb lineup one gets the feeling that Dookudu is just a start to the future sensations. Also Rajamouli is keen on working with Mahesh in the near future. May be he will start his film with Mahesh in 2013. We can’t even imagine what a film can do if this sensational duo comes together. Mahesh fans are out of this world seeing their matinee idol shattering all box office records. The future lineup of Mahesh is making them even happier.

Piracy Not Stopping 'Dookudu' Collections

It is often heard from many quarters of the producers, directors and actors that the piracy has been eating away a lot of revenue for the Tollywood industry. Usually, piracy is considered a threat and many take lot of measures and anti-piracy drives to ensure it is controlled.
But it is heard that the producers of ‘Dookudu’ are simply laughing it off and are not talking about piracy at all. Already, some scenes came in internet and online uploading of the movie has been done in few movies. But reports from box office officials say that this has not dipped ‘Dookudu’ collections.
Apparently, all want to come to theatres and watch it. This goes to show that if a film gets good talk then piracy also cannot do any damage. That has already been proved with films like ‘Arundhathi’ ‘Magadheera’ and now with ‘Dookudu’.

Magadheera 100days = Dookudu 3days @ Collections

The unthinkable has happened Dookudu has crossed the full run collections of Magadheera in just three days of its run in US. The film was bought for a record 3 Cr price in overseas and many in the trade felt that it was suicidal on the part of distributers to buy the film at that price. But all their doubts were dispelled as the film opened to never seen before response in US. Now many in the trade say that the film has already crossed the full run collections of Magadheera over the weekend and is headed for a never heard before collection in US.
